Volcarona @ Life Orb
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 32 HP/ 40 Def / 252 SpA / 184 Spe
Modest / Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Quiver Dance
- Fire Blast
- Bug Buzz
- Giga Drain / Psychic

Thanks to Quiver Dance, a powerful offensive typing, and great coverage options, this pesky moth becomes a nuclear threat in BW OU. With Life Orb, Volcarona can muscle through Pokemon such as Tyranitar, Gliscor, and Politoed. Giga Drain is a good coverage option, helping curb Life Orb recoil while also OHKOing Water-types such as Keldeo and Jellicent after a Quiver Dance. An alternative is Psychic, still OHKOing Keldeo while also hitting Pokemon such as Tentacruel. 184 Speed EVs allow Volcarona to outrun neutral-natured Choice Scarf Landorus-T after a Quiver Dance, while a Timid nature ensures even max Speed Choice Scarf Landorus-T and Rotom-W can't stop Volcarona. Volcarona's crippling weakness to entry hazards requires it to have Rapid Spin support from Starmie, which also helps damage the likes of Tyranitar and Clefable, putting them in range for Volcarona to sweep. Specially defensive walls such as Chansey and Heatran can stop Volcarona in its tracks, so checks to these such as Keldeo and Garchomp can help against them. Due to its mediocre defensive profile, Volcarona appreciates follow-up sweepers such as Dragonite as well as Healing Wish users such as Jirachi, which can restore Volcarona after it has taken too much chip damage.

The set itself or Bella's authoring? The set was sent to us by Finchinator, I approved Bella to write it.

If your issue is incorrect information, that's precisely what the QC process is for. It'll be handled.

Finch didn't tell us about this so we were confused and thought someone was trying to redo Volc's analysis.

Thanks to Quiver Dance, a powerful offensive typing, and great coverage options, this pesky moth becomes a nuclear threat in BW OU, with Life Orb allowing it to muscle through Pokemon it would not be able to otherwise such as Tyranitar, Gliscor, and Politoed. Giga Drain is a good coverage option, helping curb Life Orb recoil while also OHKOing Water-types such as Keldeo and Jellicent after a Quiver Dance or slight chip. An alternative is Psychic, still OHKOing hitting Keldeo while also hitting Pokemon such as Tentacool Tentacruel and Terrakion in sand. 184 EVs in Speed ensure that Volcarona can outrun neutral natured Scarf Landorus-Therian after a Quiver Dance, while a Timid nature ensures even maximum Speed Choice Scarf Landorus-T, Excadrill, and Rotom-W can't stop Volcarona's sweep. Max Speed is required with a Modest nature in order to outspeed Rotom-W after a Quiver Dance. Volcarona's particularly crippling weakness to entry hazards requires it to have Rapid Spin support from Pokemon like Excadrill and Starmie, who also helps damage the likes of Tyranitar and Clefable, putting them in turn can help chip down the likes of Tyranitar, Gliscor, and Dragonite in range for Volcarona to sweep. Specially defensive walls such as Chansey, Heatran, and Clefable Hippowdon can stop Volcarona in its track even with its sheer power, so checks to these such as Keldeo and Garchomp can help against these threats. Due to its extremely mediocre defensive profile, Volcarona appreciates follow-up sweepers such as Dragonite to pick up the pieces left by it as well as Healing Wish users such as Jirachi, which can restore Volcarona after it has taken too many attacks and damage from its own Life Orb. pivots uch as Landorus-T and Rotom-W helping it come onto the battlefield safely, the former also helping it deal with its poor Defense stat with Intimidate.

This was too long (over 1250 characters), so I cut some items that seemed superfluous/redundant. It is now at 1184 characters, which could still be too long. I will leave that to the judgement of the socmed heads, as I would need to remove substantive content in order to further shorten this. Let me know if you want to discuss some of these removals and I can help.

Thanks to Quiver Dance, a powerful offensive typing, and great coverage options, this pesky moth becomes a nuclear threat in BW OU, given the more casual + short nature of spotlights I would consider ending the sentence here and having a new one with just LO discussion with Life Orb allowing it to muscle through Pokemon it would not be able to otherwise implied such as Tyranitar, Gliscor, and Politoed. Giga Drain is a good coverage option, helping curb Life Orb recoil while also OHKOing Water-types such as Keldeo and Jellicent after a Quiver Dance or slight chip damage. An alternative is Psychic, still OHKOing Keldeo while also hitting Pokemon such as Tentacruel and Terrakion in sand. is Tentacruel in sand as well? I would switch the two examples here if not so people do not misinterpret Tentacruel in sand 184 Speed EVs in Speed ensure that Volcarona can outrun neutral natured neutral-natured Choice Scarf Landorus-Therian Landorus-T after a Quiver Dance, while a Timid nature ensures even maximum Speed Choice Scarf Landorus-T, Excadrill, and Rotom-W can't stop Volcarona's sweep. Volcarona's particularly crippling weakness to entry hazards requires it to have Rapid Spin support from Starmie, who which also helps damage the likes of Tyranitar and Clefable, putting them in range for Volcarona to sweep. Specially defensive walls such as Chansey, Heatran, and Clefable can stop Volcarona in its track even with its sheer power tracks, so checks to these such as Keldeo and Garchomp can help against these threats. Bella dont forget to implement the above on time and to trim down the less necessary information(s) (can double check with QC as well) as to not exceed the character limit

pushed it down to 1057, pretty much the best i can do without cutting more stuff down. hopefully thats ok for this.
