SV OU Volcarona Balance (Need some guidance)

Recently Volcarona was brought back to OU from ubers and I really liked playing it before it was banned. So now that it is unbanned I decided to build a balance team around it. Any tips would be extremely helpful!

:volcarona:
Volcarona @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 HP / 104 Def / 152 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Quiver Dance
- Fiery Dance
- Giga Drain
- Morning Sun

This mon is the star of the team. Volcarona's teammates can break down it's checks and prepare for a mid game to late game sweep by Volcarona. I went for a bulky set so that it could potentially tank a few hits and also maybe burn some pokemon with flame body.

:rillaboom:
Rillaboom @ Choice Band
Ability: Grassy Surge
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Wood Hammer
- Knock Off
- Grassy Glide
- U-turn

This mon forms an offensive core with volcarona. It breaks down a lot of volcarona's checks like toxapex and blissey. It also provides grassy terrain support for goodra-hisui which has no proper recovery. Wood Hammer choice band rillaboom is just so powerful and it breaks through many walls. It also provides knock-off support and acts as an offensive pivot .

:alomomola:
Alomomola @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Scald
- Wish
- Protect
- Flip Turn

This mon is like a defensive backbone for volcarona and rillaboom. It provides wish support for rillaboom who is constantly being worn out by it's wood hammer recoil. It also provides wish support for volcarona if i need to switch into it. Also it is a nice defensive pivot for this team beaing able to bring in volcarona against grass types and rillaboom against electric types.

:goodra-hisui:
Goodra-Hisui (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sap Sipper
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 148 Def / 4 SpA / 104 SpD
Bold Nature
- Acid Armor
- Body Press
- Flash Cannon
- Dragon Tail

This mon forms a great defensive back bone for this team along with alomomola. Dragon tail support is always great in this meta where there are tons of setup sweepers. Acid armor and body press also facilitate for a back up late-game sweep in case volcarona fails to sweep the opponent. It also fits well in this team being able to take advantage of rillaboom's grassy terrain. I actually took this set from another RMT on this forum.

:dragapult:
Dragapult @ Leftovers
Ability: Infiltrator
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 76 Atk / 180 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- U-turn
- Thunder Wave
- Hex
- Dragon Darts

This mon is the main speed control for this team. Since i didnt go for full speed for volcarona, and this team is also pretty slow it provides much needed t-wave support and speed control for this team. It also acts as an offensive pivot for this team. I went for a mixed physical and special attack build on it because i didnt want to run draco meteor and suffer the stat drops on it. Also, the burns from scald and flame body also pair nicely with hex.

:great_tusk:
Great Tusk @ Leftovers
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Knock Off
- Rapid Spin

This mon is essential to the team providing rapid spin support for this team. Also sets up stealth rock (we always love stealth rock). I went for a more defensive build so that it stays in the game for longer, always being able to provide rapid spin support for volcarona. Also provides knock-off support as well.

So thats the team! If you have any suggestions, please let me know as it helps out a ton. Thanks for reading!

Hisuian Goodra is probably my favourite Pokémon from Hisui, so it's cool to see it.
I think this Team has a bad Matchtup into Kyurem. Specs Kyurem with Earth Power, Freeze Dry, Blizzard and a good defensive Tera can kinda sweep through your whole Team if H-Goodra is gone.
I think you just need to adjust some of the Tera Types. Tera Steel on Volc turns all your Weaknesses into resistances and Steel is just a good defensive typing in general.
I understand that you want to make your Great Tusk bulky, but you already have Grass Terrain so you should maybe run Heavy Duty Boots.

I think that Archaludon works better for your team than Hoodra. Its much more physically by bulky, and with stamina it allows you to run body press without any boosting moves. It also gets a strong electric stab that improves your rain matchup if you want to. I would recommend Assault Vest Archaludon, because it appreciates all the grassy terrain support and wish from alomomola.

thanks for the recommendation! I was choosing between archaludon and hoodra but i decided to go with hoodra as i thought hoodra was more specially bulky and i needed a mon that could take special attacks well

If you want to keep Hoodra I suggest changing the EVs to be pure special defense, or an Assault Vest Set with max SpA.
