Virizion @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Air Slash

Despite being the lowest-tiered Sword of Justice, Virizion is a significant offensive presence within the PU metagame. After recently being suspect tested, Virizion avoided the ban hammer and continued to be a major threat in PU thanks to an above-average Speed tier, amazing STAB combination, and wide range of coverage options. Leaf Storm deals with Water- and Ground-types like Jellicent and Sandaconda. Close Combat deals with Steel-, Rock-, and Dark-types such as Silvally-Steel, Aggron, and Absol. Stone Edge allows Virizion to deal with threats such as Xatu and its would be checks such as Talonflame and Ribombee on the switch. Air Slash helps against Fighting-types, namely opposing Virizion, and Grass-types like Tsareena. Virizion appreciates Rock-type teammates like Gigalith and Regirock that can deal with its Flying- and Fire-type checks like Archeops and Talonflame, while Virizion deals with Water-, Steel-, and Ground-type threats for them. Virizion is excellent against bulkier teams that rely on Wish users and clerics such as Vaporeon and Articuno. However, it falls short against Poison-types like Weezing and Garbodor. Lastly, Life Orb can wear Virizion down over time.

Despite being the lowest tiered Sword of Justice, Virizion is a significant offensive presence within the PU metagame. After recently being suspect tested, Virizion avoided the ban hammer and continues to be a major threat in PU thanks to an above-average speed tier, amazing STAB combination, and access to a wide range coverage options. Leaf Storm is Virizion's strongest available Grass STAB option which deals with Water- and Ground-types like Lanturn and Sandaconda. Close Combat deals with Steel-, Rock-, Dark-, and Normal-types such as Silvally-Steel, Aggron, Absol, and Heliolisk helio just volts. Stone Edge allows Virizion to deal with threats such as Galvantula mention zard and/or xatu, nobody uses galv and its otherwise checks such as Talonflame and Ribombee on the switch. Air Slash helps against Fighting-types, namely opposing Virizion and Grass-types like Tsareena. Virizion appreciates Rock-type teammates like Gigalith that can deal with its checks in Flying- and Fire-types like Archeops and Talonflame while Virizion in return deals with Water-, Steel-, and Ground-type threats for Gigalith. Dark-types like Absol pair well with Virizion as they switch in against Psychic-type moves directed at Virizion. mention how it can be strong against fat teams w like vaporeon and articuno, and how weezing/bulky poisons are annoying for it and who can help. should prob comment on how LO can wear it down too (cut from the starting description if it's too much to add)
