After a brief recess, the stars have come out for the most anticipated event of 2025 gaming (according to US Weekly). In addition to the All Star Game (main event) there are other events which can potentially award Tribute Points so be sure to check them out! We present to you...

:bw/Poliwhirl: EVENT #2: Predictions Gamble! :bw/Poliwhirl:

  • Eligibility: Anyone who is NOT playing in the All Star Game (Even those who aren't in UUFPL can participate! WOW how fun!!!!!!!)​
  • Rules: Literally just post your predictions! You are required to write at least one line for each fight.​
  • Whoever gets the most predictions correct wins the event (and is awarded a Tribute Point for themselves and the UUFPL V team they represent)!​
  • In the event of a tie, I randomly roll to assign 1 pt or 2 pts to certain tiers​
  • In the event of a FURTHER tie after that, whoever posted predictions first wins​
  • If a player subs out, you are bound by your prediction for whoever they subbed in for so you should hope for the best​
  • WARNING: Since this is the All Star Game you are likely going to get a bunch of RFNs so get your predictions in asap (you get 0 points for predicting a game already played)​
  • Each team can also get an additional Tribute Point by just having one person representing that team post predictions and get at least 6 correct. How nice! (limit 1 extra team tribute point per team)​

:BW/Arceus-Electric: EVENT #3: UUFPL SLAM DUNK CONTEST! :BW/Arceus-Electric:

  • Eligibility: Anyone in UUFPL, including All Stars.​
  • Rules: Go on the Gen 9 UU or Gen 9 Ubers UU Ladder (on any account/alt) and KO a pokemon with the move "Slam", "Heavy Slam" or, for more points, use "Supercell Slam"! NOTE: THE MOVE BODY SLAM DOES NOT COUNT!​
  • Post the replay of your KO here!​
    • Most Slams (whoever KOs the most Pokemon with the move Slam, Heavy Slam, or Supercell Slam in one fight) - This award has an 1100+ opponent ELO requirement. Winner receives a Tribute Point!​
    • Best Slam (whoever achieves the "Best Slam" KO, which can be "Slam" "Heavy Slam" or "Supercell Slam" but "Supercell Slam" is looked upon more favorably) - no ELO requirement. Winner receives a Tribute Point!​
  • The "Best Slam" will be decided by the UUFPL Slam Dunk Judges Panel consisting of BigFatMantis, adorluigi , vivalospride , Pak , and swinubfan44 . The criteria will be truthfully subjective but make sure it's something really special for bonus points!​
  • NOTE: You can post as many slams as you want in as many ladder fights as you want​
  • Each team can also get an additional Tribute Point by just having one person representing that team post a replay with a Slam KO. How nice! (limit 1 extra team tribute point per team)​

:sv/Passimian: EVENT #4: UUFPL HOME RUN DERBY! :sv/Passimian:

  • Eligibility: Anyone in UUFPL, including All Stars.​
  • Rules: Go onto the SV UU Ladder (on any account/alt). Win a game that lasts at least 10 turns where you never switch out any pokemon except via pivot moves/items (e.g. U-turn, Flip Turn, Chilly Reception, Eject Button, etc.). Your opp must be a min 1100 ELO player.​
  • Post the replay here!​
  • The winner of this event will be the participant who posted a win vs the highest ELO player using these rules. Reward is 1 Tribute Point!​
  • Each team can also get an additional Tribute Point by just having one person representing that team post a replay with a these requirements. How nice! (limit 1 extra team tribute point per team)​

:sv/Cinderace: EVENT #5: INFINITY SHOOTOUT! :sv/Cinderace:

  • Eligibility: Anyone in UUFPL, including All Stars
  • Rules: Go on the Gen 9 OU Ladder (on any account/alt) with a team of 5 UU pokemon + Cinderace and KO as many pokemon as you can with the move Pyro Ball! Any ELO is fine.
  • You are allowed to post up to 3 total replays and tally up your Pyro Ball KOs within all 3 games.
  • Whoever KO'd the most pokemon with Pyro Ball within their 1-3 replays wins the event! Reward is 1 Tribute Point!
  • You do NOT need to actually win the game, just need to get KOs with Pyro Ball!
  • Each team can also get an additional Tribute Point by just having one person representing that team post a replay with a these requirements. How nice! (limit 1 extra team tribute point per team)​

The League is burning. Districts rise in rebellion against the icy rule of Big Snow Mantis, the Mega Abomasnow whose grip on the capital tightens with every passing day. Eight tributes from separate Districts — Kapperajah, sayyonara, Lizzie, jackuzzler, Dead by Daylight, Taka, RTM, and Queen of Bean — find themselves at the heart of the resistance, caught between survival and revolution. But from the ashes, a mysterious Talonflame rises—fierce, fast, and unbound. She may be their only hope.

The fire is catching...

In this special event, 8 tributes (1 from each UUFPL team) will attempt to take on the Capitol and start the UUFPL V rebellion! Talk to your manager for more information if you were volunteered as tribute.
