Hello everyone, welcome to the very first tournament of the Pet Mod VGC 20XX! For those of you who don't know, this mod mirrors Pokemon's official competitive format, a 4v4 best of 3 double battle. There are no battle gimmicks in this format - no megas, Z moves or Tera. Just pure battling. You can play the meta here: http://191.101.232.116/ (don't worry it takes time to load). If you want to practice, I'm more than happy to help - just PM me with some dates and times. My time zone is London UK, free most evenings (apart from Monday) and weekends.

Top 4: You can create a Pokemon with a base stat total limit of 520.
2nd place: You can create a Pokemon with a base stat total limit of 520, and create a new item
1st place: You can create a Pokemon with a base stat total limit of 600 and create a new item

All General Tournament rules and Guidelines will apply.
Clauses
Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same species of Pokémon on their team, based on the National Pokedex Number. For example, a player cannot have two Koffing on his or her team.
Timer Clause: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.
Item Clause: No two Pokemon on the user's team may hold the same item.
Because this is based on VGC, there are no Sleep, Evasion or OHKO Clauses.
