Hey i'm kinda new to the VGC community and applied to get a VGC tutor and got one. Him and i build this team so here it is:
(P.S I'm not very good at writing why they fit my team so don't judge. If you have any questions about my team then ask and i'll answer any questions you have)

Tyranitar-Mega @ Tyranitarite
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Crunch
- Dragon Dance
- Rock Slide
- Protect

Mega Tyranitar already has really good base stats. He has really good offense potential and can take attacks that hit him. His rock typing give it an advantage to Pokemon like Talonflame and Charizard who seem to be very popular in VGC.

Amoonguss @ Black Sludge/occa berry
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 188 Def / 68 SpD
Bold Nature
- Rage Powder
- Spore
- Giga Drain
- Protect

Amoonguss pairs very well with mega Tyranitar. You can use rage powder so Mega Tyranitar can set up dragon dance and sweep the rest of the match using rock slide. It survives Timid mega charizard y's heat wave 15/16 times without occa berry (According to Alex Agloza). It also can take a mega Kang's return.

Salamence @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 212 HP / 20 Def / 132 SpA / 144 Spe
Modest Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Dragon Pulse
- Flamethrower
- Stone Edge

Salamence is a really good special/mixed attacker as long as they don't figure out that it's scarfed. It hits hard and it's really fast. It also has the intimidate ability which can threaten physical attackers.

Mamoswine @ Life Orb
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Protect
- Icicle Spear

Mamoswine has access to priority ice shard which could be good against pokemon like Garchomp. It can also take hits relatively well.

Rotom-Heat @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Modest Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Overheat
- Protect
- Will-O-Wisp

Rotom heat is there for type coverage and to inflect burn on deadly psychical attackers and it's bulky.

Azumarill @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 244 HP / 252 Atk / 12 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Protect

We decided to add Azumarill because it's a good psychical sweeper if it gets belly drum up. we also added him because we didn't have a water type yet.

I love using Life Orb Talonflame, but I don't think your set brings out it's full potential

Talonflame @ Life Orb
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 68 HP / 252 Atk / 12 SpA / 4 SpD / 172 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Brave Bird
- Overheat
- Taunt / Tailwind
- Quick Guard / Protect

This is a Talonflame set I've been using for a while now, to great effect. Overheat is, in my opinion, superior to Flare Blitz on Life Orb sets. It allows you to avoid Intimidate, which is important in KOing Mega Mawile, a huge threat to Mega Kangaskhan, and avoid a lot of recoil as well as Ferrothorns Iron Barbs + Rocky Helmet. Taunt can shut down annoying supporters and Tailwind speeds up your team, it's personal preference for what you use. Quick Guard can stop priority, which is extremely helpful, but Protect can help make some clutch plays, again it's personal preference. The EV spread allows you to KO 252/4 Mega Mawile with Overheat 100% of the time and outspeed Mega Kangaskhan so that you Quick Guard before it can Fake Out. An alternative spread that I haven't used as much: 108 HP / 252 Atk / 12 SpA / 4 SpD / 132 Spe with a Hasty Nature could be used as well. It allows Talonflame to outspeed 252 Spe Adamant Nature Talonflame so that it Brave Birds first and also has a 50 something percent chance to survive standard 76 Special Attack Rotom-Wash's Thunderbolt.

Good luck at your tournament!

you need at least three lines of description for each pokemon in order to explain the choices in the pokemon and sets. take a look at the rmt rules and other rmts to see what's expected
