Congratulation Scizorphobic for winning 16th week of UU Matchmaking !
For this 17th week, you'll have to find the best teammate for Choice Scarf Togekiss !
Don't forget that you can't reserve anymore a set or a Pokemon.

Togekiss @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Trick
- Roost
- Heal Bell / Defog / Thunder Wave
- Air Slash
Please submit your Pokemon before the deadline which is 10/24/2019 11.59 PM GMT +2.

:rs/steelix:
Steelix @ Steelixite
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 208 Atk / 48 SpD
IVs: 0 Spe
Brave Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball
- Earthquake
- Curse

So Scarf Toge is not listed as a set on the analysis because it does not outspeed the base 145 benchmark that other Scarfers (Krook, Hydreigon, Ape) do. To circumvent this, MegaLix provides a solid check to M-Aero and M-Bee as well as Zeraora. Many of the things Toge tricks its Scarf to can often be used as setup fodder, and it can Heal Bell burns caused by stray Scalds. Steel/Fairy cores are also pretty sturdy, with MLix blocking Electric attacks directed at Toge (not from Heattom or Manectric though). All in all, a neat balance core that can provide Rocks, a cleric, speed control and a potential Defogger.

Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Scald
- Toxic

Swampert can set Stealth Rock for the team. Earthquake hits steel type pokemon hard and Scald threatens to cripple pokemon relying on their attack stat such as Scizor. Toxic to wear down Switchins. Swampert can make good use of Heal Bell to avoid taking too much poison damage, while Defog gets rid of entry hazards for your team such as Stealth Rock, Spikes and Toxic Spikes. Finally Thunder Wave allows Swampert to get the first move in. Togekiss can also switch into a predicted grass move for Swampert.

SWEET SPOT (Mew) @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 240 HP / 232 SpD / 36 Spe
Careful Nature
- Seismic Toss
- Taunt
- Will-O-Wisp
- Soft-Boiled

personally i think slashes on toge should be like twave > nasty plot > defog > other but w/e. taunt mew is a nice pick imo since it appreciates the good offense mu by toge while mew can break fat. defensively they work together well bar scizor, tho it risks fire coverage. main thing is mew wearing down steels for toge to clean up which is even better for NP variants of toge.

Rotom-Heat @ Iapapa Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 236 HP / 20 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Defog
- Volt Switch
- Overheat
- Toxic
Rotom defogs improve Togekiss' ability to come in repeatedly. It can also withstand bullet punches and any other steel moves aimed Togekiss' way, and can break various steels that withstand Toge's Air Slash using the monstrous power of overheat. Togekiss returns the favor by luring rocks like Nihilego and Rhyperior to scarf lock them, making Rotom's life easier as those pokemon can harass Rotom and keep hazards up against it consistently. Togekiss can also harass various grounds like Gligar and Hippowdon that only aim to make Rotom's life harder. Rotom-H can also take electric moves like thunderbolts that were aimed at Togekiss. Volt Switch also grants Togekiss the ability to come in without taking much damage, and letting it air slash away, or putting it in position to trick it's scarf to something that causes problems for the team.

Chesnaught @ Leftovers
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 244 HP / 252 Def / 12 Spe
Impish Nature
- Spikes
- Wood Hammer
- Drain Punch
- Synthesis

Chesnaught is a phenomenal partner for Togekiss. Togekiss invites in steel types and rock types like Mega Lix and Rypherior, which automatically forces Togekiss out since it doesn't have any coverage moves like Aura Sphere. Chesnaught is a good rock resist that can punish the rockers with a combination of Drain Punch and Wood Hammer. And at the same time get Spikes up to pressure the opposing team for Togekiss. Togekiss can also provide heal bell support because Chesnaught struggles once statused.

Congratulation Solaros & Lunaris for winning 17th week of UU Matchmaking !
For this 18th week, you'll have to find the best teammate for Nasty Plot + U-turn Celebi !
Don't forget that you can't reserve anymore a set or a Pokemon.

celebi.png

Celebi @ Psychium Z
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- U-turn
- Nasty Plot
- Psychic
- Giga Drain
Please submit your Pokemon before the deadline which is 11/3/2019 11.59 PM GMT +2.

:sm/primarina:
Primarina @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Moonblast
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

(Offensive also works, but I felt dual special breaker was kinda dumb)

Celebi is the equivalent of “I draw in every Dark and Dragon-type in this tier and I U-turn for the chip”, so I decided to choose a mon who takes advantage of every Dark and Dragon-type. Primarina was what I was looking for. Celebi takes care of 2 of the 3 hardest counters to Prim, Amoonguss and Tentacruel, while Prim manages most (Alomuk ig?) Dark-types and Dragon-types. For example, it takes on non-ElecZ Latias, Krook, Ape, Shark and Kyurem. A very effective core that doesn’t sap momentum for most teams and maintains a lot of defensive utility.

LIGHT IS COMING (Infernape) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Flare Blitz
- Close Combat
- Gunk Shot

Scarf ape is a cool partner since they form a U-turn core and can quickly chip down Latias, Scarf Darks, etc. for other cleaners or Celebi itself to break. They also have the usual typing synergy of breaking Steels and Waters respectively.

scizor.gif

Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 216 Atk / 28 Def / 16 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Pursuit
- Roost

Pretty generic partner for Celebi, but I prefer Pursuit Scizor over something like Krookodile or Aerodactyl. Celebi U-Turns on things like Latias, Alolan Muk, and other things that would otherwise be able to trap or abuse it for Scizor to come in and threaten them out with a U-Turn of its own. They both form a good core that really annoys teams that rely on Latias and only Latias to beat Celebi.

terrakion.gif

Terrakion @ Choice Band
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Toxic

Pretty Standard partner for Celebi. Uturn brings in Terrak to deal with the darks/steels that try to come in. Celebi also deals with things like Amoongus/Slowbro which only gives Terrak an easier time. Overally really solid offensive pair that can deal with an abundance of threats.

Krookodile @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Earthquake
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge

Knock Off weakens the opponents pokemon and Pursuit removes Psychic/Ghost type pokemon.
