What a time to be alive. 2024 has been the least predictable year so far.
Now that usage stats are public, here are the following changes for Sub-Zero Used, following the same thresholds as official tiers:
Hitmonlee moved from ZU to SU
In addition, these are the following 3-month cutoff trends for projected usage:
Farigiraf could move from SUBL to ZU
Komala could move from SU to ZU
Malamar could move from SU to ZU
Oricorio could move from SUBL to ZU
Porygon2 could move from NFE to ZU
Rhydon could move from NFE to PU*
Sneasel-Hisui could move from NFE to ZU
Venomoth could move from SUBL to ZU
Weezing could move from SU to ZU
Articuno could move from ZU to SU
Cryogonal could move from ZU to SU
Primeape could move from ZU to NFE
Rotom could move from ZU to SU
Sableye could move from ZU to SU
Snorlax could move from ZU to SU
Virizion could move from ZU to SU
Rhydon would be projected to move from NFE to ZU if it wasn't guaranteed to rise to PU at this point. For more information on what a guaranteed rise is, you can check out my post here. The short of it is that anything with a 6.8% average of usage across two months in a higher tier either cannot drop or cannot avoid rising.
Speaking of that, here are Pokemon that are effectively "locked-in" for tier placements in January's tier shift.

Except for cryogonal, which is actually ok in PU, but yeah this is especially funny since its possible for hitmontop to rise to NU, with less than 1% between it and the threshold. Also the pokemon that basically rely on hazard removal for their viability, such as in PU, we have cramorant, alolaslash, and regular sandslash.
They meant cryo as in Staying in ZU I believe
But yeah it sure is funny how much Staying power rapid spin gives mons in tiers they don't belong in
Donphan isn't that bad it should be Ru but its viable in UU, same with Forre
Unless I'm missing something here, perfect case in point that there's any defense of the disproportionately high usage of fringe to unviable Pokemon. Anything ranked at C or D or UR being continuously and effectively trapped in the tier until February 2025 (and let's be real, given this trajectory, there's no chance until April) is a bad look, but that's ladder.
NU, As a member of the ZU community i request that you take PU’s entire metagame so we no longer have to deal with excessive power creep that prevents us from using the shitmons that this tier was made for
