This is an Undertale themed team that i have made for OU. i tried to pick the mons that fit the characters in Undertale in appearance, Gimmicks, stats, moves, or all four
so here it is
Sans (Shedinja) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Wonder Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Swords Dance
- Protect
- X-Scissor
- Shadow Sneak
a Custom set. i just happen to find Shedinja to fit sans the most. with having 1 HP like sans does and is hard to hit just like sans. I also like Shedinja more then most people
Swords dance is something to give sans a extra boost in damage. while protect does what you think it does. just for keeping sans alive longer. X-Scissor is for Stuff Like Hoopa-Unbound, Weavile, and the Lati-duo. if he happens to outspeed. while Shadow Sneak is used to pick off weakened foes. Shadow Sneak can also be used to revenge kill
Mettaton (Scizor) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spe
Adamant Nature
- X-Scissor
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit
- Defog
a random set i threw together. X-Scissor is a powerful Stab while Bullet Punch Makes use of Technician. Pursuit is also a good surprise when Mettaton scares the opponent Forcing into a Switch. and as i have said before. Defog is there for Sans in case of Stealth Rocks which is a threat for Sans.
(lacking description but i could not think of anything else to put here)
Undyne (Keldeo-Resolute) @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Secret Sword
a Basic Sub-Calm mind Set. i just happen to like the Resolute form more then the normal form
Substitute enables Keldeo to protect itself from status and take advantage of defensive Pokemon that cannot deal enough damage to it to break the Substitute, such as Heatran, Alomomola and non-Psyshock Slowbro. It also eases prediction against offensive teams and stops Bisharp from beating Keldeo if it has been brought into Sucker Punch's KO range. Calm Mind has excellent synergy with Substitute, increasing not only Keldeo's power but also its bulk, which helps it set up even further against defensive Pokemon and stops it from being revenge killed as easily by special attackers. Scald is an accurate, drawback-free, reliable STAB move with a great secondary effect that enables Keldeo to wear down checks such as Latias, Slowbro, and Mega Venusaur. Secret Sword is Keldeo's most accurate special Fighting STAB move and enables it to hit special walls such as Chansey.
Alphys (Tyranitar) (F) @ Choice Band
Ability: Sand Stream
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 100 HP / 252 Atk / 156 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Superpower
- Pursuit
Basic Choice band set
Choice Band turns Tyranitar into a lethal and very powerful wallbreaker. Stone Edge is the main STAB move and does massive damage to even Pokemon that resist it such as Keldeo. Crunch is the more accurate secondary STAB move and can break past bulky Psychic-types such as Slowbro and Jirachi with ease. Superpower has great coverage alongside Stone Edge and Crunch, as it hits Ferrothorn, Heatran, and opposing Tyranitar. Fire Punch is an option to hit Mega Scizor, but it misses out on Heatran and Tyranitar. Pursuit rounds off the set by allowing Tyranitar to Pursuit trap Latios, Latias, and Talonflame. Unlike the Choice Scarf set, Choice Band Tyranitar can also trap bulky Psychic-types such as Slowbro, Bronzong, and Cresselia due to the great increase in power. finally Pursuit has the same purpose as Mettaton's Pursuit
Papyrus (Bisharp) @ Life Orb
Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Swords Dance
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch
Basic Swords dance set
Knock Off is Bisharp's main STAB move, as it hits incredibly hard and has utility in removing items. Swords Dance boosts Bisharp's attack to insane levels and puts immediate pressure on a lot of offensive teams. Iron Head hits Fairy-types super effectively and is Bisharp's best bet against many Mega Evolutions, such as Mega Sableye and Mega Venusaur. Sucker Punch hits faster Pokemon that Bisharp would otherwise be unable to touch.
Flowey (Venusaur) (M) @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 208 HP / 96 Def / 40 SpA / 144 SpD / 20 Spe
Bold Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Synthesis
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Finally to rap this team up we have the Great Wall himself Flowey! Flowey is the Basic defensive Mega venusaur set With some Edits to His EVs
Giga Drain lets Mega Venusaur check Water-, Ground-, and Rock-types such as Keldeo, Azumarill, Landorus-T, and Mega Diancie while recovering some of Mega Venusaur's health. Sludge Bomb acts as a much more powerful STAB move that in spite of little Special Attack investment, can hit neutrally-damaged targets such as Mega Pinsir pretty hard. However, its main purpose is to allow Mega Venusaur to check Fairy- and Grass-types such as Clefable, Sylveon, Breloom, and Serperior. Synthesis provides semi-reliable recovery, which lets Mega Venusaur easily stall out many more Pokemon. Hidden Power Fire lets Mega Venusaur deal with Scizor and Ferrothorn.
This team is not really used for winning matches. just something i put together for fun
