Tsareena @ Assault Vest
Ability: Queenly Majesty
EVs: 240 HP / 8 Atk / 8 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Power Whip
- U-turn
- Triple Axel / Rapid Spin
- High Jump Kick / Rapid Spin
In a metagame plagued by Rillaboom and Kartana, Tsareena stands out as an alternative Grass-type option. Its unique ability in Queenly Majesty allows it to keep it and its partner safe from common priority attacks like Fake Out and Grassy Glide, which is especially beneficial on more aggressive teams. Its strong Power Whip also allows it to easily threaten the tier's most popular bulky Water-types like Tapu Fini and Blastoise. U-turn gives Tsareena the ability to function as a pivot, which it does well thanks to its great natural bulk and the addition of Assault Vest, and its Ground resistance and access to Triple Axel grant it a great matchup against common Ground-types such as Zygarde and Landorus-T. High Jump Kick prevents Incineroar and slower Kyurem-B variants from walling Tsareena entirely, while Rapid Spin can be great for further supporting its allies by clearing the field of Stealth Rock or Toxic Spikes. Tsareena pairs well with weaker physically defensive Pokemon such as Nihilego and Spectrier, letting them safely go on the offensive as they're kept safe from Rillaboom's Grassy Glide.
