DARKSPAM (click for pokepaste)
Yo, I got a nice team that I got to the 1900s without many losses. Could've laddered more but I started tilting coz I ran into tera electric :zamazenta:, but I think this team is really solid and definitely able to reach #1. The team lacks a water resist but it's fine because your goal is to outoffense them with weavile clicking tera dark 106.6BP beat ups. Proof of peak will be in the replays section since I'm tired of screenshotting elo whenever I ladder.

This team is very standard compared to what I usually build, but has cool adaptations that differentiate from being purely standard (zapdos set is goated).
This team was heavily inspired by those beat up weav teams in gen 8 (I forgot who made this team but it was something like :weavile: :landorus-therian: :kartana: :zapdos: :volcanion: :melmetal:) these teams were the shit back then and I've always wanted to try to make CB weav work in gen 9 since CB weav is an iconic breaker from gens 6-8.

:dragapult: :iron valiant:

The first iterations had pult and val but they didn't really synergize well because of lack of defensive utility and CB weav doesn't need much offensive team support. It is self sufficient enough in breaking where I was preferring to lean into defensive support with pivots. Hence, I replaced that idea with zapdos + gambit for additional darkspam.
:Weavile:@:Choice Band:
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Knock Off
- Ice Shard
- Beat Up

Role: Breaker, speed control, cleaner. Most important mon in your team since the whole team supports weav. However, not crucial to keep alive or healthy since you have more dark types in the back.
Set Details: Crash is a better move than axe (no contact, better accuracy, can cheese with flinch), max speed for darkrai MU.
Tera: Makes beat up a nuke, even 3HKOs tusk. Also adds flexibility vs hazards by removing ice type.
Other Options: Tera ice, low kick/pjab are usable but I wouldn't change this set.
:Kingambit:@:Leftovers:
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 36 Atk / 132 Def / 88 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Kowtow Cleave
- Low Kick
- Sucker Punch

Role: Punishes dark resists for switching into beat up due to offensive overlap. Additional priority and defensive mon, cleaner, good into cheesy builds (weather, HO).
Set Details: Lives tusk headlong, but physdef gambit is a set I'm a big fan of since it allows you to potentially eat 1 extra hit (e.g. vs gliscor or dnite). Low kick for opposing gambit.
Tera: This used to be tera fire but the zama MU is worth running ghost.
Other Options: Most customizable mon, actually I suggest running your own gambit set if you use this team for the surprise factor. I can see running prim over gambit and ditching beat up on weav (you could probably also run glowking over hoopa in that variation).
:Hoopa-unbound:@:Assault vest:
Ability: Magician
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 156 Def / 100 SpA
Quiet Nature
- Knock Off
- Psychic Noise
- Drain Punch
- Thunderbolt

Role: Spdef wall, secondary progress maker and beats fat. High atk stat for beat up.
Set Details: Tbolt is needed for corv and waters, the rest can't really be changed.
Tera: Tspike absorber and fairy check.
Other Options: Ice punch, dark pulse, future sight, gunk shot are all viable over tbolt.
:landorus-therian:@:rocky helmet:
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Def / 144 Spe
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
- Taunt
- U-turn

Role: High atk stat mon that checks phys attackers and crucially (unlike tusk) has u-turn to bring in weav.
Set Details: Outspeeds modest bolt and tran, the rest into def to blanket check phys attackers.
Tera: This team is kinda weak to opposing weavile, and steel also resists fairy and is better into hazards than water.
Other Options: Taunt is really good on this team so it's hard to fit other moves on this lando. Run any set it'll probably work, tho.
:Zapdos:@:Heavy-Duty Boots:
Ability: Static
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 72 SpD / 56 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hurricane
- Volt Switch
- Light Screen
- Roost

Role: I needed a moderately high atk stat mon that would blanket check mons that lando + hoopa can't handle, + has momentum. Zapdos fills this well enough, and 90 base atk isn't horrible.
Set Details: My fave zapdos set, light screen is AMAZING on zapdos (seriously I think this is the best 4th move zap can run in gen9), it allows you to do obscene shit like 1v1 cm mons or even 1v1 rbolt in some situations. Speed is for modest bolt since you want to be faster to get up light screen, and a little bit of spdef is to avoid 2hkos from enam/val. I mentioned earlier this team lacks a water resist but light screen zap acts as a pseudo water resist since it beats waters anyways. Using zapdos makes you feel like the main character and gives you plot armor (shoutouts static).
Tera: Water resist for rain and sun MU (99% of rain and sun MU you should tera zap).
Other Options: Replacing light screen with twave, discharge, u-turn, etc. you can run standard zap with less speed and more def, light screen is goated tho.
:Cinderace:@:Heavy-Duty Boots:
Ability: Blaze
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 24 Atk / 232 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Pyro Ball
- U-turn
- Will-O-Wisp
- Court Change

Role: Hazard control and fairy resist + another pivot.
Set Details: Bulky ace is deceivingly fat and allows you to get into blaze range pretty reliably. Wisp is good into mons like tusk who switch into cind, and also emergency checks gambit. It also helps in the bolt MU.
Other Options: Gunk libero is an option for prim.
In general this team thrives vs slower builds or BO, so fighting HO is harder.

:zamazenta: tera electric is so so annoying for this team, otherwise this mon is managable.

:primarina: :azumarill: no water resist so these mons make progress whenever they come out, but they're tasked to handle your dark types so in practice they won't beat you.

:ninetales: :walking wake: depends on their structure but you kinda have to outplay sun.

:clefable: CM or cosmic power is incredibly annoying for this team. Iron head on gambit is an option for this, but you usually have to sack a mon or take significant damage to beat this.
HO

Weavile's "Beat Up!" turns me on.

I'm an 2* y/o male pokemon trainer. Whenever I hear Weavile, I get a rush of Vaporeon's bath water in my body and I get energize by the Great Weavile's iconic sweet deep Beat Up. It's enough to get my stomach filled with Butterfrees and my brain's engine ramaging up to witness Weavile and then continue with my Ladder session.

I gotta say nothing turns me more then these 2 words from the Great Weavile.
