Togekiss

[OVERVIEW]

*Good Offensive and Defensive Typing on Fairy/Flying.

*Above average Special Attack and access to Nasty Plot makes Togekiss able to Wallbreak quite easily.

*Air Slash + Serene Graces gives Kiss a 60% chane to flinch a slower opponent.

*Base 80 speed, while not outstanding, can allow Togekiss to outrun many slower Pokemon.

*Great Special Defense stat allows Togekiss to take Special hits fairly well.

*Access to Roost, Heal Bell, Thunder Wave and Defog allows Togekiss to supports its teammates too.

*Weakness to Stealth Rocks is never good, specially on a Pokemon that might have to be the one to remove them.

*Weak to common Offensive Types, such as Steel, Ice, Rock and Electric.

*Kiss’s speed stat is kind of underwhelming, and hinders its supportive and wallbreaking capabilities.

*Suffers from Four-Moveslot Syndrome, therefore, can't run all the support moves it wants to.

Moves
========

*Air Slash is your main STAB and it allows Togekiss to possibly flinch slower opponents. 75 Base Power might seem underwhelming, but under 60% flinch chance its okay. Also, Togekiss doesn’t has any better Flying STAB.

*Nasty Plot doubles Kiss’s Special Attack stat, and allows for more wallbreaking power.

*Roost ensures Togekiss lasts longer on the field, as it provides reliable recovery to Kiss.

*Morning Sun could be used if Togekiss happens to be part of a Sun Team or doesn't want to loose its flying type when recovering HP.

*Heal Bell can support the team by removing any status but its mainly used to removed any unfortunate paralysis that was slowing Togekiss down.

Set Details
========

*176 Speed EVs and a Timid nature allows Togekiss max speed base 70’s such as Breloom and specially Bisharp.

*The rest of the EVs are put into HP and Defense for Togekiss to take hits better.

Usage Tips
========

*This set uses Togekiss bulk and access to Nasty Plot to Wallbreak. As Togekiss is quite slow as it is, make sure faster threatening opponents are elimated before attempting a sweep.

*However, if you're facing a bulkier team, don't be scared to Nasty Plot to get past a single wall even though Togekiss's counter/check hasn't been knocked out yet.

*Even though Togekiss is pretty bulk and can Roost up any damage, be sure to avoid letting Stealth Rocks wear Togekiss down.

Team Options
========

*Removing Hazards is vital for Togekiss to perform any role well, a partner that can Defog or Rapid Spin to support Togekiss is strongly recommended, The Eon Twins can Defog and have a good matchup with most Electric and Poison Types that can bother Togekiss, Excadrill can Rapid Spin and also can deal with opposing Steel-Types, while Togekiss can also switch into Ground Moves that would wreck Excadrill otherwise.

*Speed Control is very apreeciated seen how slow Togekiss is, Shuckle can spread Sticky Webs on the opponent's field and Thundurus and Klefki can Thunder Wave any non-Dark or Electric Type.

*Ground Types such as Hippowdon, Landorus-T and Garchomp are great parteners for Togekiss, as they can take on the Electric, Rock, Poison and Steel Types that annoy Kiss, its important to remeber that Togekiss and most Ground-Types share an Ice Weakness, so its important to have another teammate that can stomach Ice Moves.

*Fighting Types such as Keldeo, Terrakion, Pheromosa and Buzzwole can all deal with the Ice, Rock and Steel Types that annoy Togekiss, at the other hand, Togekiss can wallbreak with Nasty Plot and open up opportunities for them to Sweep.

Moves
========

*Air Slash is Togekiss's main Flying STAB and allows for a 60% chance to flinch after Serene Grace is factored in.

*Roost is mandatory to keep Kiss healthy and allows it to last longer throughout the battle.

*Morning Sun could be used if Togekiss happens to be part of a Sun Team or doesn't want to loose its flying type when recovering HP.

*Nasty Plot can make use of Togekiss's defense stats to facilitate a set-up and provide more damage output after one Nasty Plot.

*Alternatively, Dazzling Gleam can provide a Fairy-Type STAB that can hit Pokemon like Dragonite and Tyranitar for more damage.

*Heal Bell can help the team by remove status aliments from teammates.

*Defog can get rid of hazards at both sides of the field, though, it's important to remember that Togekiss is weak to Stealth Rocks.

*Thunder Wave can be used as well to paralyze opponents and allow Togekiss and maybe other teammates to outspeed them.

Set Details
========

*Max HP and max Defense when coupled with a Bold nature allows Togekiss to can Physical his better.

*Alternatively, if your team prefers special bulk, a set with a Calm nature and 252 SpD investment can allow for a more Specially Defensive route and its is equally as viable as a Physically Defensive one.

Usage Tips
========

*As this set takes on a more defensive approach, switching Togekiss into moves it can stomach is okay.

*Be sure to avoid letting Stealth Rocks wear Togekiss down and make sure to keep hazards out of your field for as long as possible.

*If you're running Nasty Plot on this set, you can get past certain walls your team can't break through with Togekiss, even though this is a Defensive set.

*Fighting Types such as Keldeo, Terrakion, Pheromosa and Buzzwole can all deal with the Ice, Rock and Steel Types that annoy Togekiss.

Other Options
=============

*Tailwind can be used to increase Togekiss's or any parter's speed, allowing for Air Slash to flinch more often or to just help a slower teammate. Remeber that it only lasts for four turns and that it'll take a valuable Moveslot from Togekiss though.

*Using a Normalium Z with Safeguard or Yawn can give Togekiss the speed it needs, but being one-time use, and taking both an itemslot and a moveslot is quite hindering for Kiss. Using Z-Bestow or Z-After you, even though they won't have any effects from the regular move, can boost your speed by two levels and make Togekiss even faster, but by the same reason of wasting a move and itemslot, tend to be unreliable.

*Aura Sphere or Flamethrower can damage Steel-Types but they have very few uses and both restrict Togekiss from using another supportive move in the same slot.

*Wish may seem like a good option, but due to Togekiss's low HP and Stealth Rock weakness it can't perform this role as well as other Pokemon like Alomomola, Sylveon or Clefable.

*Baton Pass with Nasty Plot may look useful, but there are many Pokemon that can do this better, such as Celebi and Mew, not to mention Togekiss is better off capitalizing from its boosts by its own. Togekiss also suffers from four-moveslot syndrome and doesn't want to give up Roost or Heal Bell for Baton Pass.

*Yawn can be used to force switches, but its kind of gimmicky and Togekiss wouldn't benefit from it as much as it would from other moves.

*Choice Scarf may look like a good option to Air Slash to allow Air Slash to flinch more opponents and make use of Kiss's good base 120 Special Attack, but running such set may lack power, specially since Togekiss has to rely on moves with very low Base Power, such as Air Slash, Dazzling Gleam and Aura Sphere.

*An offensive set with Choice Specs or Life Orb may look like a good idea from Togekiss's base 120 Special Attack and good offensive movepoll but it's important to know that it reduces Togekiss's supportive capabilities.

Checks and Counters
===================

*Faster Wallbreakers: Outspeeding Togekiss is no impossible task. Faster Pokemon that can deal super-effective damage are Togekiss's bane.

*Stealth Rocks: Even though Togekiss gets Defog, taking 25% damage every time you switch Togekiss in is quite bad for it. Not to mention that Stealth Rocks might also turn an 2HKO on Togekiss into an OHKO.

*Electric-Types: Pokémon like Tapu Koko, Xurkitree, Thundurus and Raikou can all outspeed Togekiss (baring Xurkitree possibly) and proceed to heavily damage Togekiss, while Kiss can't do nothing in return, as Air Slash is resisted. Bulkier Electric-Types can also be threatening, like Zapdos and Rotom-W, as they can eat up any move as well and retaliate with their Electric STABs.

*Poison-Types: Nihilego, Gengar and Nidoking can heavily threaten Togekiss with their Sludge Wave / Bomb, with the former two also outspeeding Kiss.

*Hazers / Phazers: Special walls that can stop a Nasty Plot sweep are quite annoying for Togekiss, examples include Tapu Fini, Toxapex and Skarmory.

*Unaware Walls: Clafable and Quagsire, if Unaware, can easily take Air Slashes or any coverage Togekiss wants to throw at them an heal of the damage, obviously Togekiss can't Nasty Plot to gets past both.

*Steel, Rock and Ice Types: Mega Metagross, Terrakion, Weavile, Excadrill and Heatran can all outspeed and severly damage Togekiss. Possibly OHKO depending on Kiss's spread. Togekiss does have coverage for all of them but as Togekiss is slower it may not even get use its coverage move, not to mention that those coverage moves tend to be left behind for Togekiss to run more supportive moves.
*Baton Pass can pass any Nasty Plot to a faster teammate and allow for a sweep

Don't mention Umbreon since it isn't OU viable, mention Clefable instead.

you should probably note that Togekiss suffers from 4MSS in the overview since you mentioned it somewhere in OO.

I think Tailwind and Yawn could be mentioned in OO since Yawn can force switches occasionally while Tailwind can help boost the team's speed if necessary

edit-
Speed Control is very appreciated seen how slow Togekiss is, Galvantula and Smearlge can spread Sticky Webs

the only sticky web user that is OU viable is Shuckle, even then Sticky Web is quite uncommon

Done, Im afraid OO is getting too big though, but thanks for the help anyways :]

There's several things wrong with this analysis that leads me to the conclusion that this should be reassigned. Seeing questionable move mentions like Morning Sun when not only is it inferior to Roost due lower PP and weather dependency, but also you fact that you mention sun teams as if the Drought users are even relevant in the metagame. There's also descriptions like these that don't tell the reader much at all: "Air Slash is your main STAB and it allows Togekiss to possibly flinch slower opponents. 75 Base Power might seem underwhelming, but under 60% flinch chance its okay. Also, Togekiss doesn’t has any better Flying STAB." There's more exmaples I can find of things like these as well. I understand that you're new to C&C and everything, but I'd prefer you to work on your metagame knowledge before writing another analysis in the future.

Locking.
