We should switch to a system that uses tiers J, X, Q, and Z.
F tier is reserved for the blank tile which has a score of 0.
Are we tiering only based on raw score, or potential score? Because a blank tile clearly has utility in reaching crucial multiplier squares.
Regardless, I’m more of a bananagrams guy
The F tier is there to indicate that there is a tier for 0 points, but there is no blank tier so blank itself has not been tiered.
Move A to S tier, its a vowel so its easy to make words with
The whole point of scrabble scores is that the easier they are to make words with, the lower they score.

This ignores the versatility and support potential of A and E. Sure, they have low scores by themselves, but they enable higher scoring words. They are not going to turn a game around by themselves, but they're an integral part in almost all words that get high scores. You can win a game without F, but can you win a game without E? Can you even use Z and J and X without A or E? They're the Ferrothorns and Skarmories of Scrabble, building up to victory and supporting other letters without necessarily being high-scoring, game-deciding letters themselves. The rankings should take support potential in addition to scoring potential.

Good sir, if A and E are so low potential, I'd like you to try to win a game of Scrabble without using them. The words you can form will be very constrained - you'll almost certainly have trouble putting together any decent words. A player using A or E is at an advantage against someone who refuses to use them, and this is proof to the immense potential A and E bring to the table, despite their low scores by themselves. You can't write words like QUARK and OXYPHENBUTAZONE and PSYCHOANALYZING and JUKEBOX without A and E providing support and acting as glues, bringing together longer words and higher scoring letters. What you refuse to understand is how the potential of these letters isn't the scores they themselves have, but it's how well they support other letters. What you are proposing is akin to putting Skarmory/Ferrothorn in F tier and Volcarona in S tier purely based on their attacking capabilities, but without hazard removal and chipping opponents' checks with Spikes/Stealth Rock/Leech Seed/phazing and Thunder Wave support, how can your Volcarona succeed? By overlooking support potential and splashability, this tier list gravely misrepresents the actual viability of letters in Scrabble.
he doesn't want to represent the viability of scrabble letters within the context of the game as a whole. he wants to represent how big the number in the bottom right of the tile is.
the tier list doesn't have to be useful
