First i would like to thank BurtonEarny for the cunstructive criticism and i have just revised most of my team members.

I made this team for a tournament that i would like to start this summer were each type of pokemon has a team and here is my bug team!

My Team Overview
The team consits of six strong bug pokemon:

The Lead
venomoth.png

Venomoth (F) @ Mind Plate
Ability: Tinted Lens
Evs: 252 SpA, 252 Spe, 4 HP
Modest +SpA -Atk
Psychic
Bug Buzz
Toxic Spikes
Sleep Powder

With a decent base stat of 90 in both Speed and Special Attack it makes a decent lead and sets up Toxic Spikes. If Venomoth is faster than the opposition than he can put them to sleep or try to KO the opponent. If the Venomoth is slower i would switch it out for a different pokemon so i can try to keep my only Special Attacker alive in case a strong defensize wall is in the party.

The Backup
pinsir.png

Pinsir (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Mold Breaker
Evs: 252 Atk, 252 Spe, 4 Hp
Adamant +Atk -SpAtk
Stone Edge
Earthquake
X-Scissor
Close Combat

Pinsir is a physical sweeper and has strong hitting powerful moves. With the openents team getting hurt by toxic spikes and stealth rocks a choice scarfed attack should OHKO most enemies and once its countered he can switch with his twin Heracross who can set up another attack run with Life Orb.

The Nurse
parasect.png

Parasect (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Effect Spore
Evs: 252 Atk, 252 HP, 4 Spe
Adamant +Atk -SpAtk
Spore
Seed Bomb
X-Scissor
Aromatherapy

Heals status effects and puts oppenents to sleep and has decent attack.

The Scout
scizor.png

Scizor (M) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Technician
Evs: 252 Atk, 252 Spe, 4 HP
Adamant +Atk -SpAtk
Swords Dance
Metal Claw
U-Turn
Wing Attack

Can set up to sweep with some Swords Danced up Attack or just U-Turn for decent STAB and scouting.

The Sweeper
heracross.png

Heracross (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Guts
Evs: 252 Atk, 252 Spe, 4 HP
Adamant +Atk -SpAtk
Swords Dance
Megahorn
Night Slash
Close Combat

If you have a bug team you need this guy. He can sweep if he can get a Swords Dance or two in and he can cuase a lot of damage regardless.

The Spinner
armaldo.png

Armaldo (M) @ ???
Ability: Battle Armor
Evs: 252 Def, 252 HP, 4 Atk
Impish +Def -SpA
Rapid Spin
Stealth Rock
Iron Tail/ Aqua Tail/ Rest/ suggestion?
Stone Edge

He sets Stealth Rock up on his first turn and then rapid spins any threats against my team. The other moves are still up in the air. I would go with Aqua Tail and Stone Edge giving good coverage against fellow rock pokemon and ground along with fire and flying pokemon also. His Defense and HP helps his survivabilty alot.

Thanks for reading and post suggestions.

Dont run mono bug in OU...
Okay one HUGE problem is the lack of shuckle. Shuckle is the best special sponge bugs can offer. He makes a wonderful one actually for the UU teir. Shuckle helps numb the fire and flying weaknesses as well for a mono team. Well come back to shuckle later.

As it is... this team is basically 6 random bugs that all die to one move spammed over and over, and a mono team should be able to combat that.
So, I'm going to give you some advice, though it will involve removing some if not most of the team, and dropping it to the UU tier as all the scizor hate will cause this team to struggle to stay in the match as it just cannot handle OU threats as a mono type(though that is optional I guess). I play UU, and so wil be rating from my experience there.

Armaldo:
This has to be your rapid spinner if used in UU, otherwise you MAY use Forretress. Max Hp and Def. and give it an impish nature with
Rock Blast
Rest
Rapid Spin
Stealth Rock

Venomoth:
Roost is such a bad idea that it can brag about it... As far as leads go it IS the best option among bug types, but its move set is not optimal. You can go 2 ways with this bug, who is actually one of the best assests to the team.
1) @ Leftovers
Sleep Powder
Toxic Spikes
Psychic
Bug Buzz
-While not the best way to go for a standard venomoth lead, this is good for your purposes. Sleep Powder anything that is slower and not known to pack a Lum Berry. Faster leads will force you out, but you can then come back and put their Stealth Rocker to sleep. For my mono bug team, toxic spikes was essential, and Venomoth can handle almost all threats to toxic spikes with Bugg Buzz + Psychic. Leftovers helps here not get worn down so quickly by SR as she may need to attempt a sweep late game for you.
2) Choice Scarf
This allows you to outspeed just about every lead there is, and get a sleep powder off. However, you will need to switch to use toxic spikes and she may be hard pressed to find an oppotunity to use the move later into the match.

Pinsir + Heracross:
If you plan to stay in the OU tier give hera the scarf and drop pinsir for shuckle or the other way around if you go UU(again I discourage use in OU). Either way, one needs a scarf. This allow you to outspeed the normally faster threats that could otherwise kill most of your team easily. Pinsir is rarely used for my mono bug team, but when he is, he usually saves me the match. Its vital you have a choice scarf, I cannot stress that enough.
Adamant or Jolly
Stone Edge
EQ
X scissor (or Megahorn for Hera)
Close Combat

Shuckle should look like:
Careful
252 Hp/ 40 Def./ 216 Sp. Def.
Knock Off
Encore
Rest
Toxic

Scizor and Parasect:
Scizor is hosed and doesnt even have bullet punch. Replace one for Yanmega as to provide a SP. Sweeper for the team.
normal ev's and such with Speed Boost
Protect
Bugg Buzz
Air Slash
Hp Ground(if in UU)

The other can basically be filler (or Scizor can stay if you really want him to if you play OU as he is the best bug type out there)

Um, also to prevent the thread form being locked you need to add more text to each poke to explain its function fo rthe team better.

Here is a link to my old mono team so you have one to look at for reference of you go to UU with it.

You barely even wrote anything, maybe give more descriptions please. I would rate, but people who do half ass jobs dont deserve a rate

comments like this do nothing. You did tell him to write more, but you should not be mean about it... What does being rude get you?

Most of the time, being 'rude' gets your point across.

Anyways, on the team, you should probably fix the 4 fire weaknesses. I'm not going to say anymore, there are a lot of mistakes in the movesets (Aerial Ace on Heracross?), I would probably just say lurk more.

I find "rudeness" usually just leads to a breakdown of the threads usefulness as people then just want argue over the fact that someone would be mean to someone looking for help while the actual team goes without rates... (kinda like now)

This is the only thread that people are arguing about this >.>.... Well, you know, if the op isn't a total retard or like 8 years old and can't take it when people say the truth about their team or anything like that. People just can't stand getting the same crap over and over again, it's up to the OP to actually use their team competitively first and put effort into a RMT. No one is here to rate a bullshit team... right? "Rudeness" doesn't really hurt anyone with a mind of their own imo. I doubt I should even be posting here until this RMT is fixed, but whatever.

This thread is being locked under a couple of reasons

1)
Rule 3 said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.
2) This thread has become a mini battlefield of arguments about rudeness :/
3) The OP bumped waaay under the 24 hour limit, though it doesn't matter now
