Smeargle

Info:
Smeargle's role as a lead, is to use Spore to induce sleep, then Mean Look to lock them into that Pokemon. Baton Pass is so he can Pass Mean Look, and Acid Armor if he wants. Smeargle doesn't have any attacks, because he usually doesn't live long to attack, and even if he did, his Spc/Atk stats aren't the best.

Possible Changes:
Acid Armor is there mostly as a space saver, but it helps cover Shuckle's new low Def. Careful not to get Taunted, as then Smeargle can only use Struggle.

Info:
This is my favorite Blastoise set. STAB Water Spout HURTS at full health. Life Orb helps get into Torrent range, so you can use a Torrent Double-Power Life Orb STAB Brine. Rapid Spin is to get rid of Entry Hazards and Leech Seed. Blastoise does well in this set, taking care of pesky ground types, who wall Shuckle.

Possible Changes:
Toxic is changeable, but it's good for Stallers. You can also change Rapid Spin for anything.

Info:
Ninjask's goal in life is to pass on Swords Dance and Speed(from Agility and Speed Boost) to Shuckle using Baton Pass. X-Scissor for a STAB attack, that hurts with Bug Gem.

Possible Changes:
Agility can be changed, if you want Speed Boost to do everything. X-Scissor can be changed for your STAB attack of choice. Feel free to change his item as well.

Info:
Medicham is the only Pokemon who legally learns both Power Trick and Baton Pass(Besides Gliscor, but PO says it's not allowed). Medicham goal is to use the whole point of this set, Power Trick, which he Baton Passes to Shuckle, giving Shuckle a MASSIVE 559+ Atk. Medicham can also Baton Pass Acupressure, for a few random stat raises. Metronome is there just as a slot filler, and for a lol attack.

Possible Changes:
Metronome can be changed for any other attack, like Vacuum Wave. Sadly, Medicham can't learn Bullet Punch. Acupressure can be changed as well, though I suggest that less.

-Icicle Spear
-Spike Cannon

Info:
Cloyster is there to abuse Skill Link, and deal with Subers. Icicle Spear is STAB, and very powerful for Pokemon weak to it. Spike Cannon is for Pokemon who resist Icicle Spear. Razor Shell for another STAB. And Spikes just for a slot filler, in case I want an entry hazard. Choice Scarf and the 252 Spd EVs let it outspeed quite a few things.

Possible Changes:
Spikes can be changed for just about anything.
I suggest not changing his item, or he might get outsped.

Shuckle!

Ability: Sturdy

EVs: 252 Def, 252 Spd, 4 Spd
Moveset:
-Bug Bite
-Rock Slide
-Rest

Info:
The star of this team, SHUCKLE! When Shuckle gets Power Tricked he has a MASSIVE 559 Atk, able to OHKO most things. Bug Bite and Rock Slide are STAB, and two of the few attacks he learns. Shuckle is also able to RestTalk, to restore his health. Lum Berry to wake up on the first Rest.

Possible Changes:
Both of Shuckle's attacks are interchangeable. He has Bug Bite and Earthquake for a while, but he got walled by Flying types. The only problem is Shuckle has an extremely small attacking movepool.

This set took many times to get right, a lot of changing Movesets.
Make sure you avoid at all costs switching Power Tricked Shuckle on to a Physical Sweeper. After Power Trick, Shuckle has a extremely low Def of 56. Acid Armor from Smeargle would help with that greatly.

Since this is basically a baton pass team, your gonna want to change quite a bit...

Get rid of blastoise for an umbreon, and teach that umbreon mean look / magic mirror / baton pass and possibly sub or taunt (or.. dark pulse?), and put that as your lead.

Take mean look off smeargle... a fair few things can do taht already and do much better.. give him ingrain instead... otherwise any roar will destroy you.

Take agility off ninjask... its pointless as can be. Put protect or sub in its place

There are so many other things that need to be changed... Im not sure why I even bothered

-With Taunt being incredibly common, BP teams have lost a lot of worth, just saying.
-Why Bug Gem on Ninjask? Focus Sash or Lefties, and as leingod said, replace Agility with Substitute, it Ninjask, you're getting to +6 Speed.

I dislike this team, its easily shut down by an opponent KO'ing one poke. A lot of gimmicky sets that I can't see working don't add to it either, along with a few moves you definitely chose just for filler. Baton Pass is also just a cheap strategy devoid of skill. The fact that you chose Shuckle means nothing, it can be replaced by Caterpie for the same effect.

I'll try that Umbreon, sounds nice.

If I make Umbreon as lead, Smeargle is useless, so he would go.

Agility was so you could get to max speed faster. But I guess sub would work better.

I said Metronome was just filler on Medicham. Lol. Couldn't find any moves to replace it for, I never end up using it.

The tier is DW on PO.

The Starf Berry is rarely activated, and if it is, I'm not staying in long enough for a Acupressure.

Yes, the Blastoise set is amazing.

I just wanted to make a Shuckle Sweep team. Works wonders sometimes.

I'll try Focus Sash on Ninjask.

Yes, the team does fall apart from one loss, but the others can still help. Blastoise and Cloyster are amazing. And it being Shuckle over Caterpie, means I can skip the Swords Dancing with I feel so inclined. The main Baton Passing is Power Trick from Medicham to Shuckle, which by the way, Shuckle learns Power Trick.
 
Eh, I don't like it. You are using very, very gimmicky sets and fillers. Power trick shuckle MAY be able to sweep if all goes well with baton passing(which it won't in this case unless your oponent is just setting up on you), but more than likely it will not. Statis(Paralysis specifically) and priority will both destroy you.
Once shuckle gets a power trick, it still remains too slow even at +6, and becomes OHKOable by all forms of priority(probably extremespeed from lucario even).

I remember fighting this team on pokemon online, I don't know if it was you or not, but the team was torn to shreds, it was just to gimmiky to work.......3/10
 
Just a fyi, I don't think you can Baton Pass mean looks.

For Cloyster I would swap Spike Cannon for Rock Blast, it's a multi hit move so it uses his ability, and it gives him better type coverage. Also I would get rid of the Choice Scarf and replace Spikes for Shell Smash so that he can set up a sweep of his own. Also try Power Swap passing to Cloyster sometime if Shuckle is taken out. Cloyster already has a huge Defense so you can easily power swap him (just don't Shell Smash if he has already been Power Swapped)

I would make Blastoise more of a Defensive threat than a Offensive one. Try going Scald/RapidSpin/Toxic/DragonTail. With all of the Baton Passing you'll be doing I can easily see people setting up on you before you finish the chain. Blastiose can phase out those pokes who try and set-up with Dragon Tail, and he can Toxic them for damage. Also give him Leftovers instead of Life Orb and make his EVs 252HP / 252Def / 4SpDef.

For Medicham give him Hi Jump Kick and Psycho Cut over Metronome and Acupressure. That way he can go Offensive if need be. Also change his EVs to 4HP / 252Atk / 252Spe.

Drop Smearlge. You already have 2 pokemon who you Baton Pass with, having 3 puts you in a bad situation if you run out of pass targets. I would get a Duel Screener on your team.

Try giving Xatu a try with Magic Bounce. It's pretty funny watching people get their Stealth Rocks bounced back at them, plus if you predict right, you can bounce back any Whirlwinds or Thunderwaves people will try and send at your Pass receivers. I would go with this Xatu build: Reflect/Light Screen/Night Shade/Roost, 252HP / 252Def / 4SpDef, Impish Nature and Light Clay.

Your team is running a huge weakness to Electric type attacks so I would get rid of Nijask for a good Ground type. I recommend Krookodile. He makes a very good revenge killer and can sweep late game if you lose your Cloyster and Shuckle. Give him a Choice Scarf and have him run Earthquake/Stone Edge/Crunch/Pursuit with 4HP / 252Atk / 252Spe, Jolly Nature, and Moxie as a ability.

Also swap out those berry's on your team so that you can go into UU instead of Dream World. Give Shuckle Leftovers or Life Orb, and give Medicham Leftovers.

Don't let all these people steer you away just because they are all crying from losing to us Pass masters ;)
 
If you are going to run a Bp team then will need a few fast taunters for roar and whirlwind users.

And for Cloyster you could use a shell smash set.

I agree with everything leingodf8 posted especially the big IF. And if you are looking for a baton pass reciever you may want to try Bibarel lol Simple ability. Also, I believe Medicham is too frail for a Bp team.
 
what is this i dont even..

I'm going to try not to point out things other people have already said. First off, Water Spout gets weaker as Blastoise loses health... which it does every time it attacks, thanks to Life Orb. Brine Sucks. What happens when Blastoise is too weak from Life Orb to effectively use Water Spout, and your opponent sends in something with over 50% health? Just make your Blastoise defensive. Bold nature, 252 HP, 252 Def, 4 SpD with Scald, Toxic, Rapid Spin, and Roar/Dragon Tail, and Leftovers for the item. Tanks Victinis V-creates all day long, I think with Leftovers factored in, it's a 3HKO at best, while Blastoise threatens with Scald. Even when they switch, at least there's a 30% chance you burn the switch-in.

Agility on Nijask is stupid. It has Speed Boost for fucks sake. What the hell are you trying to outrun that you need both? Less Agility, more Substitute. Sub blocks status, as well as gives you a free Speed Boost. Send Ninjask in on something slower (almost everything), Sub then Swords Dance then Sub again then Pass +2 Attack and +3 Speed to anything and watch it run shit. Bug Gem is silly, Ninjask's goal isn't to attack, and an item that boosts X-Scissor one time is hardly worth it. Again, Leftovers is the better choice.

There's all sorts of things wrong with your Cloyster, I don't even know where to start. A better moveset is Shell Smash, Icicle Spear, Rock Blast, and either Hydro Pump, Razor Shell, or Ice Shard. Don't put a Choice Item on it, give it either White Herb or Life Orb. This also gives you a back-up to receive Ninjask's boosts.

This team is absolutely wrecked by Roar, Whirlwind, Dragon Tail, or (from Poliwrath) Circle Throw. Without the classic Baton Pass Chain gimmick, this team is absolutely worthless. (Also, as of this Gen, Mean Look-Passing doesn't work anymore.)
