Offensive Trick Room Sweeper (Gallade) @ Clear Amulet

EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def

[SET COMMENTS]
- Gallade is an offensive threat thanks to Sharpness and its ability to set Trick Room up for itself and its partners.
- Sacred Sword ignores the Defense boosts of foes like Archaludon and Dondozo. Psycho Cut is used as a consistent Psychic-type STAB move that is also boosted by Sharpness. Its damage can be boosted further by a partner's Psychic Terrain. Wide Guard protects Gallade and its partner from spread attacks such as Make It Rain and Eruption.
- Clear Amulet prevents Gallade's Attack from being hindered by Intimidate and Parting Shot, allowing it to always deal threatening damage to metagame staples such as Incineroar.
- Tera Grass provides Gallade with an immunity to Spore, Sleep Powder, and Rage Powder while allowing it to resist Electro Shot from Archaludon. Tera Fire, unlike Tera Grass, removes Gallade's weakness to Flying-type attacks such as Hurricane from Pelipper without gaining a weakness to Poison-type attacks such as Dire Claw from Sneasler, and it also allows Gallade to resist Make It Rain from Gholdengo. Tera Fire additionally provides an immunity to burn.

Teambuilding
============
- Gallade isn't a particularly bulky Pokemon, so it is often paired with partners more capable of setting up Trick Room while Gallade threatens foes that threaten its partners. Gallade also can be paired with redirection that allows it to set up Trick Room.
- Hatterene pairs well with Gallade, as it is more capable of setting Trick Room up thanks to its bulk, while Gallade threatens foes such as Incineroar and Kingambit that Hatterene struggles to damage in return. Hatterene additionally threatens physically defensive foes that Gallade struggles to OHKO such as Amoonguss and provides powerful spread damage with Dazzling Gleam, which complements Gallade when it fails to achieve an OHKO. Indeedee-F provides redirection, allowing Gallade to safely set up Trick Room. It is additionally capable of setting up Trick Room itself while Gallade provides Wide Guard support. Indeedee-F setting up Psychic Terrain further supports Gallade by preventing Fake Out disruption and increasing the damage of Psycho Cut.
- Amoonguss threatens to put Gallade to sleep with Spore, often forcing it to Terastallize into a Grass-type. A partner Torkoal threatens Amoonguss with Eruption and Weather Ball and outspeeds it while Trick Room is active. Gholdengo is difficult for Gallade to remove and threatens to deal significant damage with its STAB attacks. Torkoal and Ursaluna can survive Gholdengo's attacks and threaten it in return with Eruption and Headlong Rush. Basculegion-M threatens Gallade with its STAB attacks, so a partner Kingambit is capable of surviving these attacks and threatening it with Sucker Punch and Kowtow Cleave.

Strategy Comments
============
- Gallade is a sweeper and a support Pokemon for Trick Room teams. It performs best early-game by removing threats preventing Trick Room from being set up or setting up Trick Room itself.
- Gallade should always be led with a partner capable of setting Trick Room such as Hatterene or Indeedee-F. If paired with Hatterene, Gallade can be used to remove threats such as Kingambit and Incineroar. When facing Gholdengo, it can use Wide Guard to protect Hatterene from Make It Rain. If Gallade is paired with Indeedee-F, it can set Trick Room as Indeedee-F redirects attacks with Follow Me. However, there may be situations where Indeedee-F can be used to set up Trick Room itself while Gallade removes an opposing threat like Kingambit. Gallade can also use Wide Guard while Indeedee-F sets up Trick Room, protecting both Pokemon from attacks like Eruption from Hisuian Typhlosion.
- Gallade is checked by Ghost-types and threatened by their attacks like Shadow Ball and Last Respects. As a result, Gallade is very reliant on redirection from Indeedee-F or switching to it if Indeedee-F is not lead. Gallade also relies on Kingambit to threaten them.
- Foes with Imprison like Indeedee-M disrupt Trick Room teams and are often difficult for Gallade to remove, so it relies on partners like Ursaluna and Kingambit for this. If the opponent pivots around to stall out Trick Room turns, getting KOs while Trick Room is active becomes difficult for Gallade and its partners. To mitigate this, overwhelming the foes with powerful attacks from teammates like Ursaluna helps to reduce the effectiveness of the switches.

- Gallade is a offensive threat thanks to its Sharpness ability and it is used its ability to set Trick Room up for itself and its partners.
- Sacred Sword is Gallade's strongest Fighting-type attack boosted by Sharpness which additionally(dex info, this is something you would say if it was slashed) ignores the defensive boosts of foes like Archaludon and Dondozo. Psycho Cut is used for consistent Psychic-type STAB and it is also boosted by Sharpness(mention a partner's psychic terrain). Wide Guard protects Gallade and its partner from spread attacks such as Make It Rain and Earthquake.
- Clear Amulet prevents Gallade's attack being hindered by Intimidate and Parting Shot, allowing Gallade to always deal threatening damage to metagame staples such as Incineroar.
- Tera Grass provides Gallade with an immunity to Spore, Sleep Powder and Rage Powder while also removing its weakness to Ghost-type attacks such as Shadow Ball from Gholdengo and allowing Gallade to resist Electro Shot from Archaludon. Tera Fire removes Gallade's weakness to Flying-type attacks such as Hurricane from Pelipper(mention that grass doesn't do this) and Ghost-type attacks while not gaining a weakness to Poison-type attacks such as Dire Claw from Sneasler. It also allows Gallade to resist Make It Rain from Gholdengo.(I think this could fit in with the previous sentence) Tera Fire additionally provides an immunity to burn.

(you can remove the mention of ghost type attacks from both imo, it's not one of the main selling points of the tera's anyways and it gives gallade a neutrality to ghost with both teras.)
