No? Then this might help.

Basically we add the shadow moves and shadow pokemon into this doubles* mod

Shadow moves used by normal pokemon become the primary type of the user and non-shadow moves used by shadow pokemon become shadow moves. Shadow moves cannot gain stab

Shadow Forms of Pokemon with weather related abilities have their abilities change into shadow forms of themselves
  1. Weather setting abilities set Shadow Sky
  2. Other weather abilities only work under shadow sky
  3. Dry Skin makes you immune to shadow moves instead of water moves
  4. Sunny Day, etc. set Shadow sky when used by a shadow pokemon

Format: Name/Damage Spectrum/Base Power/Accuracy/Target/Effect
  1. Shadow Blast/Physical/80/100/Any Adjacent Pokemon/Increased Critical hit ratio
  2. Shadow Blitz/Physical/40/100/Any Adjacent Pokemon/No Extra Effect

Shadow moves are SE on all standard types but ineffective against shadow pokemon
Banlist:
-Ubers
-Standard Clauses
-Shadow moves CAN be sketched/mimicked/bounced etc.

*This is actually an interchangeable mod(doubles or singles) but since XD and Colosseum were doubles I said doubles
**Shadow moves have infinite PP but if this is impossible they should have 48 PP
***In Game it changed to ??? but since it no longer exists and We're adding Shadow saw no need to make it ???

Please excuse incompleteness of this OP, was on a time limit and would've lost all progress if it hadn't been posted now

Should we make Shadow Moves gain STAB or not?

Should we add prevos/evos for shadow forms?

Should we add extra shadow forms?

Should shadow forms and standard forms share moves?

Great now we need a summoning ability for shadow sky any name ideas

edit: and a sand rush equilvent too
"Black Air" sounds like a good Ability that would instantiate Shadow Sky's effect. Also, idea for another move: Shadow Draw. Normally it heals the user by half of their max HP, but if Shadow Sky is in effect when used it would instead fully heal them and remove any status ailments.
Also, Hyper Mode (or Reverse Mode).
Edit: isn't it spelled "colosseum"?
Edit 2: Hyper Mode and Reverse Mode both have an Embargo effect on the Pokemon afflicted by it, but Hyper Mode also makes the Pokemon disobedient (a la overleveled outsider with too few badges) and makes the Pokemon not attack the turn it's triggered, whereas Reverse Mode simply damages the Pokemon for 1/16(?) of its max HP each turn. Both are cured by calling out to it (Colosseum/XD-exclusive command; replaced "Run" on the battle menu), which also cures sleep and confusion; should none of these ailments exist, calling out to a Pokemon instead ups its accuracy by 1. Also I'd assume go with the secondary Shadow Rush, even if Hyper Mode is picked instead of Reverse Mode (Hyper Mode ups the crit rate of at least Shadow Rush (may be applied to all Shadow moves) by 1, whereas Reverse Mode does not).

It should be noted that since there was no shadow weather ability in orre and it is not necessary to add one(there was no snow warning until genIV and no Fog ability. Also hail has no sand rush ability

Edit: OP and RP updated, check them out

Yeah, but this is supposed to be adapting to gen 6. This would also mean that Shadow Storm should hit everyone except the attacker, since it's a Shadow variant of Surf.

It technically isn't since it would have to be able to change to surf when you get purified. If it does in every case I will change it that way. And I guess if Eevee General and The Immortal are okay with it I'll open a PM poll for whether or not to add weather abilities for shadow sky what they're called and which ones

Not to make this a lot of back-and-forth posting, but Bulbapedia agrees that "Shadow Storm is a Shadow version of Surf." Also, I'm not sure a poll would be most ideal, since it's more of a free-response question, and polls are multiple-choice by nature.

Bulbapedia is made by fans not gamefreak/nintendo. It can't actually be shadow surf unless it becomes surf when purified.
Also by nature yes or no questions are multiple choice.
You raise a valid point, but by that same definition this is a fan interpretation of Colosseum/XD.
I thought you were going to include name options in the poll. Whoops.
Edit: May also want to denote which Shadow moves can be cloned via Mirror Move; not all of them can.
Edit 2: Shadow Pokemon get no type change... it's basically additional data that determines whether they're Shadow Pokemon or not. Everything else you said about Shadow Pokemon and type effectiveness is accurate, though.

Why not just make everything shadow-related the same as in Collosseum, and don't do/add anything else (besides the Physical/Special split ofc)?

I think we could maybe give the Colosseum Shadows appropriate moves from XD as well as allow Shadow copies of the evolutions of Shadow forms for balance, but other than that, we should really stick to just importing what was from the two games.

If I remember correctly, Shadow isn't technically a type (e.g. Shadow Poochyena is still technically a Dark type; it just resists Shadow moves and is possibly restricted to Shadow-type moves itself). Also, I believe Shadow pokemon do not get STAB on Shadow moves (considering Shadow moves hit nearly everything super effectively STAB would kind of be overkill).

Shadow Pokemon can learn other moves if they're purified enough (at least in Colosseum), so some additional moves could be allowed. Generally speaking these additional moves were level-up moves though, and if the Shadow Pokemon already has 4 Shadow moves it can't get any normal moves through purification.

This may be jumping the gun a little, but there probably should be some sort of restriction on how many Shadow Pokemon one can use. Otherwise we wind up with games with 6 Shadow Pokemon vs. 6 Shadow Pokemon and everyone's moves wind up being resisted and things might wind up getting a little boring.

That's why I was asking whether they should get stab.
I was asking if they should get each others movepools(possibly shadow moves to non shadow forms)
It might happen if it gets implemented but I doubt it since most shadow pokemon suck(articuno and mega beedrill are the best ones iirc(and that's only if I decide to allow megadrill a shadow form)

They don't get STAB for Shadow moves iirc. Alternatively, we could completely ignore Pikachuun's advice and stuff the move list with more Shadow moves (such as Shadow Draw, which I mentioned earlier) to make Shadow Pokemon slightly more usable if they can only learn Shadow moves (which is false, but it'd be interesting to try).
Also, you really should come on IRC so we could discuss this in real time. Adding to the (empty) list of Shadow Pokemon would be a plus, too.
Edit: maybe PMing the OP here to get this listed would be a good idea

Double post, but
Should we make Shadow Moves gain STAB or not?
Explained in above post; if we're going to accurately simulate Shadow moves there should be no STAB.
Should we add prevos/evos for shadow forms?
If by that you mean adding a Shadow Pupitar stemming from Shadow Tyranitar, then sure. imho every Pokemon should have a Shadow equivalent
Should we add extra shadow forms?
see above
Should shadow forms and standard forms share moves?
Shadow Pokemon should be able to access all of their base species' moves, plus some Shadow moves. Ideally, the Shadow equivalents of moves they learn would be usable by their Shadowed counterpart.

If we end up adding shadow sky abilities there's no real reason to keep entirely to the games.

Also if we give every pokemon a shadow form I'm not gonna be adding more shadow moves but instead am gonna do something weird with shadow forms and regular moves.

What would that "something weird" be, if I may ask?
nice going you've piqued my curiosity
Edit: Just thought about Hyper/Reverse Mode again... any word on that?
Edit 2: Given that the most iconic Shadow Pokemon would be banned, what about a custom game clone of this OM?
Edit 3: Also, maybe outside of custom, it could have a rule only allowing one Shadow Pokemon per team, like how every NPC in Colosseum acted.

As a huge fan of Pokémon Colosseum and XD, I fully support this Pet Mod.

About the potential Shadow Sky summoning ability, what do you think about turning all weather-related Abilities into Shadow versions of themselves in the case in which the Pokémon is a Shadow Pokémon? Little example: regular Politoed would have Drizzle as its regular Ability while Shadow Politoed would have "Dark Sky" in its place.

Basically it could become like this:

Drizzle / Drought / Sand Stream / Snow Warning -> Dark Sky (summons the Shadow Sky)

I think we have a winner. Hopefully the OP won't mind this. Also, as some other ideas, what about including other Shadow moves like I already mentioned?

Just gonna say, with this I think I've finally reached what to do.

^is gonna happen
Everything has a shadow form
Shadow pokemon keep the moves of their standard forms
Standard forms with in-game shadow forms gain the shadow moves their shadow forms had
Shadow moves cannot give stab
Shadow pokemon turn all their moves into shadow moves
Standard forms turn shadow moves into the user's primary type

since we discussed this a bit MandL27 please remind me of anything I forgot.

I'm gonna form a 5 man council for when this gets implemented; We currently have 2 members: Me and MandL27 send me a PM if you'd like in.

OP should be updated by the end of the week.

Everything that needs reminding has already been said in the convo. Also, Darklatias92 brought up the idea of Colosseum- and XD-exclusive battle themes for playing over this OM. I'm not sure if that's possible, but it'd be cool.

If everything has a Shadow-form, is there actually any reason at all NOT to run said Shadow form? I think Shadows might be a little OP. Maybe make them weak to Dark seeing as it fits flavor nicely and actually gives them a weakness bar themselves?

There could be a limit to the amount of Shadow Pokémon to make up for that.
