WEEK 22
Groudon with Iron Valiant by Fayz Sharpie (G)
Groudon has many of its tougher matchups patched with the help of this Iron Valiant set. Spirit Break reduces the damage of Calyrex-S, and prevents an OHKO from Draco Meteor Miraidon, after which it can threaten to OHKO with Precipace Blades. Bulk Up and Coaching help against physical threats like Calyrex-I and Rillaboom, along with Tera Fire. Chien-Pao and Groudon from a strong combo, with their Ground and Ice STABs able to hit half the type chart for super effective damage, along with Sword of Ruin reducing the opponent's defence. Raging Bolt helps the team's matchup against Kyogre and Pelipper rain teams, while also benefitting from the Sun with Protosynthesis.

Screens Ho-Oh Offense by Tb0lt (G)
It's almost impossible to break through the bulk in this team, with Grimmsnarl's screens up and Regenerator Ho-Oh constantly gaining health. Tera Ogerpon-W, Ho-Oh and Assault Vest Rillaboom form fire/water/grass core of Specially bulky Pokemon, which is tough for even the strongest Special Restricteds to break through. Additionally, Ho-Oh's typing allows it to resist the attacks of many popular Physcical restricted Pokemon, including Zamazenta, Zacian and Koraidon, while Calyrex-I is prone to getting burnt from Sacred Fire. Landorus and Rillaboom give the team tools against Miraidon compositions, especially with Rillaboom's High Horsepower.
