Team Edward Cullen - Stall/Spikes/Empoleon

No I am not a fan of Twilight, but I love this team so much. This team has won me so many battles on Shoddy and it has continued to do so. This team is based on Stall/Spikes/Empoleon Sweep. Since I made it from scratch, I know there's a lot of flaws in it. Please rate and critique my team. Thanks :]

Gliscor Vaporeon Blissey Skarmory Tyranitar Empoleon

In Deph:

Gliscor.png

Nickname: Edward Cullen
EV Spread: 252 hp/252 speed/6 defense
Impish
Sand Veil
Leftovers

Moveset: Taunt/Earthquake/Stealth rocks/Roost

I got to say, I really love this lead. He basically can help me defeat about 2/3 of the ou leads. Taunt allows me to taunt most of the ou leads since he is so buffed up with Speed. He has powerful resistance to a handful of resistance and able to block most fighting pokemon such as Lucario and Machamp, he is one of the toughest Leads to beat in the game. If Azlef is the lead, i'll switched to Tyranitar, and if Aerodactyl is the lead, i'll switched to Vaporeon.

Vaporeon.png

Nickname: Undine
EV Spread: 252 hp/6 spcatk/252 defence
Bold
Water Absorb
Leftovers

Moveset: Roar/Surf/Wish/Protect

This guy is a life saver. I mean come on, it can stall so many teams it's amazing. It can also stall one of the pokemon that my team fears most, which is Suicune. It can also stall against Scizor, Heatran, and Infernape. By having wish and protect, I am able to piss the other team, and also heal any of my other pokemon who are badly hurt. Roar is so helpful against pokemon who are setting up, plus my spikes + Stealthrocks combo helps my vaporeon stall even better.

Blissey.png

Nickname: Milfsey
EV Spread: 24 hp/232 spcdef/252 defence
Calm
Natural Cure
Leftovers

Moveset: Ice Beam/Thunder Wave/SoftBoiled/Seismic Toss

Who can not love my fat nurse? She is able to block so many special attacks, and with the ev's in defense, it is able to wall against most attackers who don't have "special effective" moves. Thunderwave scares and pisses off anyone who gets affected by it. Ice Beam is for Dragons and the deadly Gliscor who tries to beat me.
I'm not really sure if I should take out Ice beam and put in another move. Any Suggestions?

Skarmory.png

Nickname: Bigbird
EV Spread: 252 hp/252 spcdef/6 defense
Impish
Keen eye
Shed Shell

Moveset: Whirlwind/Roost/Brave Bird/Spikes

My physical stall and typical whirlwind+spikes. Extra in special defense helps me against some special attacks so I can set up spikes freely. My skarmory is able to wall pretty much any physical attacker in the game, and most importantly DD gyarados and Outrage Salamence. Without this guy, an agilitygross would be able to sweep my team with ease.

Tyranitar.png

Nickname: No nickname yet
EV Spread: 4 hp/252 atk/252 speed
Jolly
Sandstream
Choice Scarf

Moveset: Pursuit/Crunch/Stone Edge/Super Power

ALL MY POKEMON LOVE HIM. He is able to revenge kill most of the pokemon that were lucky enough to destroy my walls. Also, by having choice scarf, I am able to switch in all phycic, ghost, and latias and pursuit/crunch them. Stone Edge allows me to rape Gyarados and Salamene if they haven't dragondanced yet. I really love this guy.

Empoleon.png

Nickname: Iwin
EV Spread: 12 hp/12 def/ 232 speed/252 Special Attack
Modest
Water Torrent
Petaya Berry

Moveset: Subsitute/Agility/Surf/Grass Knot

Basically the star of this team. With amazing resistance, and incredible special attack, this guy is able to sweep an entire team that isn't ready or has been destroyed by spikes and stealhrock. My strat is: After a couple whirlwinds/roars with spikes and stealthrock, my empoleon comes in and sweeps the rest of the pokemon. Sometimes I don't even need to use him because my other 5 pokemon are able to destroy the team itself; then he is treated as my late game sweeper. Standard AgiPetaya is a pain for anyone. Grass Knot is for all those water pokemon who think they can wall me. I didnm't choose ice Beam because my other pokemon are very successful in defeating them before this baby comes in.

Please tell me what you think, weaknesses, and how I should improve on my team. Thanks for responding everyone. :)

Hello

This is a very good team, but has a pretty glaring weakness to DD Salamence, Mixmence a little less as Blissey does somewhat well against Mixmence variants, even ones with brick break face a bit of trouble. However, your best bet against DDMence is usually to Roar it out on pokemon it would like to set up on, such as your Vaporeon, Tyranitar locked into Pursuit, Gliscor or even Skarmory on your team. Furthermore, you lack a spin block which makes it really easy for Forretress to come in on almost all of your pokemon bar empoleon and simply spin your spikes away, and starmie can do this as well, though it fears Tyranitar. Additionally, your team lets Forretress and Skarmory set up the spikes on everything except for Empoleon and Gliscor, and this really hurts your team considering you run Blissey and Vaporeon, which are too major components to the team. Flash Cannon / Thunderbolt Jirachi is also something else to watch out for, it can also set up on the majority of your pokemon and beat them out, and your best shot to beat it is Blissey. Wish CM Jira is even harder to beat, and both variants are seen with Toxic Spikes pretty commonly. Taunt Gyara is also something to be aware of -- it can taunt on Blissey Skarmory and Vaporeon, and sets up on Gliscor and can power through your team with Waterfall and Earthquake. Without Stealth Rock, I would advise that you move out Ice Beam on the Blissey for your rocks.

Though your defensive core is very solid, to deal with said threats you might need to work this around a little. For your lead slot, I would like to see you try Scarf Roserade over Gliscor in order to get revenge kills on pokemon like Taunt Gyara and something that gets you a quick sleep, sleeping even pokemon like Aerodactyl and Azelf, both of which were difficult to deal with Gliscor, forcing you to go to something like Tar. This also nets you Toxic Spikes absorbing and Toxic Spikes itself, something that really fucks around with Vaporeon and Blissey.

Though you don't have a spin blocker, I'm sorry to say that I can't really find much of a spot to fit it in your team without changing too much around, as each member was very important to your team. Nonetheless, these changes should hopefully help you out against said problems to an extent where it is bearable.

Since Roar is pretty valuable for your team as it stops Suicune cold, I would suggest trying out Ice Beam over Protect to deal with Dragons a bit better. I understand that Protect is important, but your team needs to lay down on the offense a bit so it doesn't lose to sweepers before you get the chance to sweep.

Roserade @ Choice Scarf
Timid 20 HP / 252 SpA / 236 Spe
Leaf Storm / HP Rock/Fire / Sleep Powder / Toxic Spikes

Though most Roserade run HP Fire and is a viable option, HP Rock is good for pokemon like Zapdos, Salamence, and Gyarados, while still hitting pokemon like Forretress neutrally. My other changes outlined above would be to run SR on Blissey over Ice Beam and run Ice Beam over Protect on Vaporeon.

Good job on your achievements, good luck in the future.

Thanks for your rating, I really appreciate it. However, do you think my team could have a better late game sweeper that would fit my team more? Or should I just keep playing with Empoleon?
