To answer this, there are no super specific rules regarding this, though I'd like to think it should usually be pretty clear whether something is distinct enough for two sets to be submitted - for example, if one Pokemon has two similar sets that beat the target (such as IDBP Zamazenta & Band Zamazenta or Boots Pult & Specs Pult) I would usually say that they should prob not both be submitted, whereas if two completely different sets get submitted (like Sub Bulk Up Lando-T & Special Rocky Helmet Lando-T) I'd be more open to them both being voted on. Generally, I'd advise to steer clear of Pokemon that have already been submitted, but if you have a completely unique idea that isn't just the same thing with a move or two changed then I love seeing more creativity!Just a quick rules-question upon returning from a hiatus. What differentiates two of the same mon submissions from being allowed? Is it any specific rules, or a case-by-case basis?
Psychic noise disables bitter bladeCounter
Ceruledge @ Focus Sash/Heavy-Duty Boots/Liechi Berry
Ability: Weak Armor
Tera Type: Ghost/Fire (Irrelevant)
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bitter Blade
- Shadow Sneak
- Poltergeist
244 SpA Tera Fighting Iron Crown Psychic Noise vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Ceruledge: 117-138 (40.2 - 47.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
244 SpA Tera Fighting Iron Crown Tachyon Cutter (2 hits) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Weak Armor Ceruledge: 78-92 (26.8 - 31.6%) -- approx. 4HKO
+2 252+ Atk Ceruledge Poltergeist vs. 32 HP / 0 Def Tera Fighting Iron Crown: 382-451 (116.1 - 137%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Don't Tera, tank the hit as you enter, tank one more as you SD, Poltergeist. There is an alternative, though:
Do everything normal, when Crown gets the second hit your berry activates, then you Bitter Blade kill and heal off most of the damage.
+3 252+ Atk Ceruledge Bitter Blade vs. 32 HP / 0 Def Tera Fighting Iron Crown: 391-462 (118.8 - 140.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO

The only significant damage will be Focus Miss, which would come in:
244 SpA Iron Crown Focus Blast vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Cobalion: 324-382 (100.3 - 118.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Oh, look, Endure! Berry!
+1 252+ Atk Cobalion Reversal (200 BP) vs. 32 HP / 0 Def Iron Crown: 417-492 (126.7 - 149.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Bang Bang Death IG. There you have it.
use covert cloak its fixes the issuekay, ignore the second one. Poltergeist still works.
Won’t be around to put the voting up until a little later but just want to lyk that this is a check, not a counter - if you switch in on Psychic Noise, you get 3HKOd while you can’t kill back if they Tera, and Weak Armor only procs on physical attacks so they still outspeed. Will take Cobalion as the submitted check unless you specify otherwise ^^Counter

This also kinda struggles as a counter; while it can paralyse Crown and Chilly out on it, it’s unable to 1v1 it itself as it cannot Slack Off and can’t actually kill it before going down to repeated Psychic Noises and a final Volt Switch, and it can’t come in as a free Regen pivot either as Volt Switch outdamages Regenerator - even if coming in on a Psychic Noise, it just Volt Switches out next turn and you’re unable to use Slack Off. Happy to accept either this or Wellspring as a check but ya, unless I’m missing something I don’t think this is a guaranteed matchup for Slowking.Counter:
