This minitour will be the first time in Scarlet & Violet DLC that we'll be able to experience and play the format without the Big 3:

StantlerAll three Pokémon basically are a giant stat stick, capable of beating out just about every mon 1v1 in the tier once they set up (Nasty plot or Calm Mind). Being able to utilize Terastalizing elevates these mons to another level and almost every team has at least 1-2 of them on it. Over the last year, there has been complaints about wanting to ban at least 1 or all 3 of them but we don't know which one is the right call so this tour will provide an opportunity for players to build and innovate new ideas and it will let the council gauge how the new metagame could look like without the Big 3. I will also be donating $75 as a prize for the winners! (1st place - $50 and 2nd place -$25)

- Best-of-three, Double Elimination.
- Replays are required for this tournament! No replays = no win.
- Please complete your games within the 7 day deadline period or you will be coinflipped. Extensions will only be given under certain circumstances evaluated by me.
- Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same Pokémon on their team. For example, a player cannot have two Koffing on their team.
- Evasion Clause: A player cannot use the moves Double Team or Minimize in their Pokémon's movesets.
- OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
- Timer Clause: If a player exhausts the timer, they lose.
- Endless Battle Clause: Any moveset on any pokemon that is capable of intentionally causing an endless battle is banned from competitive play.
- Contact your opponent as soon as possible upon the round going up. Activity cases are going to be handled in a very strict manner.
- When scheduling, offer the widest range of time possible to play. 1 hour of activity on one or two weeknights is unlikely to be considered acceptable.
- Schedule specifically - do not schedule for "Friday afternoon" or "Sunday morning", pick a date, a time and note the timezone.
The signup deadline is Sunday, September 8th at 11PM GMT -7. Post "in" to participate!
If this gets more than 32 signups, I will raise the prize pool up to $100 and the Payout will be - 1st place: $75, 2nd place: $15, 3rd place: $10
