Wo-Chien is a multifaceted support Pokemon that uses its ability and support toolkit to neutralize opposing threats. Leech Seed and Ruination allow it to chip down foes. Pollen Puff lets Wo-Chien do the reverse and heal up its allies. Snarl weakens special attackers unaffected by Tablets of Ruin, breaks Focus Sashes, and deals serious chip damage to Calyrex-S. Foul Play punishes physical attackers that boost their Attack stats to get around Tablets of Ruin while threatening both Calyrex formes. Wo-Chien generally runs Leftovers but can also run Sitrus Berry to avoid getting 2HKOed by Moonblast from Booster Energy Flutter Mane. The Speed EVs allow Wo-Chien to outspeed bulky Kyogre; this allows it to boost Kyogre's Water Spout damage by using Pollen Puff on it before it can move. With 44 Defense EVs, Wo-Chien almost always survives Adamant Close Combat from Urshifu, and the rest of its EVs are invested in Special Defense. Tera Poison gives Wo-Chien resistances to Fighting-, Fairy-, and Bug-type moves that would normally threaten it and a strong defensive typing. Tera Water gives Wo-Chien resistances to Fire- and Ice-type moves and a similarly useful typing.

Wo-Chien struggles into special attackers that can hit it super-effectively such as Tornadus, Flutter Mane, and Amoonguss. It is also chipped heavily by U-turn from Pokemon such as Rillaboom and Urshifu-R. Wo-Chien is almost always paired with Kyogre, which appreciates Tablets of Ruin boosting its Defense and getting its Water Spouts powered up by fast Pollen Puffs. Wo-Chien is also often partnered with Incineroar and Grimmsnarl; Grimmsnarl can boost Wo-Chien's defenses further through its screens and weaken special attackers with Spirit Break, while Incineroar helps Wo-Chien stay on the field longer with Fake Out, Intimidate, and Parting Shot and matches up favorably into several Pokemon Wo-Chien struggles with, such as Amoonguss and Chien-Pao.

Wo-Chien is a multifaceted support Pokemon that uses its ability, typing and support toolkit to neutralize opposing threats. Leech Seed and Ruination allow it to chip down the opponent without investing in attack while simultaneously healing its allies with Pollen Puff. Snarl allows Wo Chien to weaken the Special Attackers unaffected by Tablets of Ruin, breaks focus sashes, and deals serious chip to Calyrex-Shadow. Foul Play punishes Physical attackers that boost their Attack stats to get around Tablets of Ruin, and does massive damage to both Calyrex forms. Protect helps Wo-Chien stay on the field by discouraging double targets and allowing it to safely collect Leftovers and Leech Seed recovery. Most Wo-Chien runs enough Speed to outspeed Bulky Kyogre, this allows it to Ruination opposing Kyogres Pokemon and Pollen Puff ally Kyogres before they can move altering increasing Water Spout's damage in the user's favor. Since staying alive for a long time is the name of the game with Wo-Chien it runs the Poison Tera-typing which makes it immune to Poisoning and turns all of its Weaknesses into Resists and Neutralities. (This reads weirdly for me, I think you can just mention the Fairy/Fighting resists since thats what Wo-Chien runs Poison for mainly). Finally, since Wo-Chien aims to be on the field for a long time it uses Leftovers.

The biggest thing standing in the way of Wo-Chein's success is Amoonguss. Amoonguss directly competes with Wo-Chien as a Grass-type Support mon and is advantaged in the mirror due to its access to Pollen Puff and Sludge Bomb. Wo-Chien also struggles into Special Attackers that can hit it super-effectively such as Tornadus and Flutter Mane. It also has a 4x Bug-type weakness that can be abused by U-turn Pokemon from Pokemon such as Rillaboom and Urshifu-Rapid-Strike. While it can Terastallize out of these weaknesses, Wo-Chien is not an ideal Tera target user due to its passivity. Since Wo-Chien's Tablets of Ruin affects its allies it is most commonly played alongside Special Attacking Restricteds such as Eternatus, Calyrex-Shadow, and Kyogre. In particular, Kyogre is an extremely common Wo-Chien partner as Wo-Chien's Tablets of Ruin boosts its low Physical Defense and Wo-Chien can power up its Water Spouts with fast Pollen Puffs, two utilities that Amoonguss cannot provide(Idt you need to mention this.). Wo-Chien is also often partnered with other Pokemon that assist slow play by increasing decreasing damage taken such as Incineroar and Grimmsnarl.

(considered an obvious move) Most (we're talking about this set) Wo-Chien run enough Speed to outspeed Bulky Kyogre, this allows it to boost Kyogre's Water Spout damage by Pollen Puffing it before it can move. (are there really no defensive calcs? I found +2 tera fairy dkiss, urshifu cc, hands cc, zamazenta body press, specs flutter mane moonblast, and live 2 pollen puffs from amoonguss after lefties recovery) Tera Poison gives Wo-Chien a resistance to Fighting-, Fairy-, and Bug-type moves that would normally threaten it. (what about tera water? Also mention that tera poison is a good neutral type) Finally, since Wo-Chien aims to be on the field for a long time it uses Leftovers.
