Smeargle's access to almost every move with Sketch grants it a great niche in Regulation G as a support Pokemon. Follow Me allows Smeargle to protect its more offensive partners, and Spore threatens to shut down opposing Pokemon, making it easier for Smeargle's partners to set up and sweep. Wide Guard blocks the plethora of spread moves in the metagame that ignore Smeargle's Follow Me, such as Tera Starstorm and Glacial Lance from Terapagos-S and Calyrex-I, respectively. This can, however, be replaced with Decorate on more offensive Calyrex-I teams, letting Trick Room threats like Calyrex-I and Ursaluna-B do significantly more damage quickly. Fake Out is the best last move on Smeargle, providing lots of pressure when it enters the field and opening up room for repositioning or setting up. Smeargle can use Spiky Shield over Fake Out for added longevity and to keep Focus Sash intact against opposing Fake Out. Transform can be used to utilize Smeargle as an offensive threat and win condition, especially when transforming into partner Calyrex-S or opposing Restricted Pokemon. Smeargle requires Focus Sash to make up for its horrendous bulk. Smeargle can also opt for an EV spread of 252 HP / 252 Def with a Relaxed nature and 0 Speed IVs on Trick Room teams, enabling Smeargle to boost its partners with Decorate before they attack. Moody is the primary ability on Smeargle, as it has a good chance of allowing Smeargle to take more attacks or threaten fast Spore. Calyrex-I teams can utilize Own Tempo to make sure Smeargle is always slow to function under Trick Room. Smeargle prefers Tera Ghost to escape Fake Out, but may use Tera Grass on a team with Farigiraf for the immunity to Spore and Rage Powder from Amoonguss, as well as the resistance to Urshifu-R's Surging Strikes, which would otherwise OHKO it through Focus Sash.

Smeargle struggles due to its lack of offensive pressure as a full support Pokemon. This makes it incredibly vulnerable to Taunt from Pokemon like Tornadus and Incineroar. Smeargle also lacks longevity, even with Focus Sash, so its chances to support its allies are limited. Hence, Smeargle is strongest with incredibly offensive Restricted Pokemon like the Calyrex formes. Smeargle's Follow Me and Fake Out helps the Calyrex formes set up Nasty Plot and Trick Room, respectively. Smeargle also protects them with Wide Guard from opposing Calyrex-S and Kyogre, which can otherwise threaten major damage if not an OHKO. These teams will usually carry Urshifu-R and Ursaluna-B to threaten Incineroar. The two also appreciate Smeargle's support as some of the most oppressive non-Restricted Pokemon available. Farigiraf can pair with Smeargle on hyper offensive Calyrex-I teams to form a strong Trick Room core and enable Smeargle to utilize Tera Grass without fear of Fake Out and Prankster Taunt.

Smeargle's access to almost every move with Sketch grants it a great niche in Regulation G as a support Pokemon. Follow Me allows Smeargle to protect its more offensive partners, and Spore threatens to shut down opposing Pokemon, making it easier for Smeargle's partners to sweep. These two can make up for Smeargle's lack of offensive pressure. (I think you can connect this to the previous sentence, feels like fluff here. Will leave it up to you.) Wide Guard blocks the plethora of spread moves (common examples maybe like astral barrage and glacial lance) in the metagame that ignore Smeargle's Follow Me. This can however be replaced with Decorate on more offensive Calyrex-I teams, letting Trick Room threats like Calyrex-I and Ursaluna-B do significantly more damage in their 4-turn timer. This can also make up for Smeargle's passivity. (this similarly feels like it can be connected to the previous sentence)Fake Out is the (add space) best last move on Smeargle, providing lots of pressure when it enters the field, opening up room for repositioning or setting up. Transform can be used over Fake Out to utilize Smeargle as a win condition, especially when transforming into the opposing (I think you can word this differently since there are definitly situations where you can transform into your own boosted caly-s or something) Restricted Pokemon. Smeargle can also use Spiky Shield for added longevity and to keep Focus Sash intact against opposing Fake Out. Smeargle requires Focus Sash to make up for its horrendous bulk. Smeargle can also opt for an EV spread of 252 HP and 252 Defense with a Relaxed Nature and 0 Speed IVs on Trick Room teams (mention how this allows it to decorate its partners before they attack or something.). Smeargle prefers Tera Ghost to escape Fake Out, but may use Tera Grass on a team with Farigiraf for the immunity to Spore and Rage Powder from Amoonguss, as well as the resistance tp to Urshifu-R's Surging Strikes which would otherwise OHKO it through Focus Sash. (you never mention the difference between Moody and Own Tempo, it's a pretty big thing to mention, could you mention it somewhere?)

Hence Smeargle is strongest with incredibly offensive restricteds like the Calyrex formes. (mention how smeargle allows them to setup plots and tr respectively) These teams will usually carry Urshifu-R and Ursaluna-B to limit how much Incineroar can shut down. The two Pokemon also take great advantage of Smeargle's toolkit, Urshifu-R appreciates the redirection from threatening priority moves like Raging Bolt's Thunderclap and Rillaboom's Grassy Glide, while Ursaluna-B takes advantage of Decorate, as under Trick Room, Ursaluna-B is one of the most threatening non-restricted Pokemon available. (personally don't love how much you mention ursaluna and shifu and how little you mention the calyrex's when they are generally smeargles main partner, feels like you can expand on the caly part and shorten down on this) Farigiraf can pair with Smeargle on Hyper Offensive Calyrex-I teams to form a strong Trick Room core (I assume this means a core that can set tr easily, maybe explain that a bit more with "Trick Room setting core" or something) and enable Smeargle to utilize Tera Grass without fear of Fake Out and Prankster Taunt.

(Can be removed, fluff. No need to mention the 4-turn, as Caly-I is still a major threat outside TR that is difficult to take down, and just the threat of a boosted Caly-I can enable plays and pressure opponents) Fake Out is the best last move on Smeargle, providing lots of pressure when it enters the field, opening up room for repositioning or setting up.
