SubSeed in D/P

With sandstorm blowing around 24/7, exactly how viable is the Leech Seed/Substitute combo these days?

Actually, I've been using subseed Breloom to great success. Toxic Orb+Poison Heal prevents status AND restores twice what leftovers would, which essentially means that sandstorm has no effect on it. Also, if your opponent's pokemon is not immune to sandstorm, they'll get worn out that much faster.

But aside from the awesome Subseed Breloom, I don't really know what else is capable of really effectively pulling off the strategy in a sandstorm. No leftovers+subbing every turn seems a bit too much for most subseeders in most situations, and unless you're up against some tankish, high HP pokemon, SS really ruins you. (Even in that case, a bunch of tanky things can outstall you with recovery moves)

Abomasnow and Torterra are also Leech Seed users that aren't bothered by Sandstorm, but unfortunately, they are quite slow like Breloom... :(

Pokes like Jumpluff could Protect/Substitute for extra recovery, but that seems a bit over the top to me...

I don't really see the issue here considering Tyranitar is everywhere in Advance and people still pulled this annoying shit then. I think the better question to ask is "will it be popular still due to the fact that any pokemon's speed can be doubled thanks to a hold item?" To pull off a SubSeed you need to be fast and when your whole speed dynamic can be turned around via an item or even something like Trick Room you're going to get your face bashed in before you can even Substitute. In the grand scheme of things though, I don't see this being any less annoying or any less successful in this generation compared to the last.
