Garganacl is a practical Stealth Rock setter due to its high bulk, amazing ability, and access to Salt Cure. Garganacl can safely set up Stealth Rock against common pivots like Ferrothorn, Alomomola, and Galarian Slowking. Common Defog users like Zapdos, Corviknight, and Moltres can barely threaten Garganacl and take dangerous passive damage from Salt Cure. Other entry hazard removal Pokemon like Landorus-T and Great Tusk also dislike Salt Cure as they rely on Leftovers for passive recovery. Protect is crucial for Garganacl for passive recovery from Leftovers and to exacerbate chip damage from Salt Cure. It can also help to scout moves from Choice item users like Tapu Lele and Rillaboom, as well as stalling weather turns against rain and sun teams. However, it is important not to rely on Protect too much to the point where Garganacl can be exploited by opponents. Garganacl has a variety of good Tera types; Tera Water turns the tables versus Pokemon like Urshifu-Rapid-Strike and Mega Scizor and performs better against rain and sun, but leaves it vulernable to opposing Garganacl and Electric-types like Raging Bolt and Tapu Koko. Tera Dragon has most of the advantages of Tera Water in addition to checking Ogerpon-W and Mega Charizard Y, but it makes Garganacl weak to Iron Valiant and Tapu Lele. Tera Fairy and Tera Ghost both help Garganacl to check Fighting-types like Zamazenta and Mega Lopunny. Teammates like Ogerpon-W and Mega Lopunny appreciate Garganacl's ability to threaten Water- and Flying-types. Garganacl also benefits from them dealing with offensive targets like Tapu Lele and opposing Ogerpon-W. Garganacl's main way to gain momentum is via Salt Cure, so foes with Abilities like Regenerator and Poison Heal can nullify its chip damage. It is therefore very helpful to have teammates like Weavile, Tornadus-T, and Tapu Koko to spam Knock Off or threaten common Regenerator pivots.

Garganacl is one of the best a practical (only reason im making this change is because garg is not really a top 5 stealth rocker) Stealth Rock setters in the meta due to its high bulk, amazing ability, and signature move Salt Cure. Common Defog users like Zapdos, Corviknight, and Moltres can barely threaten Garganacl and take much damage dangerous passive damage from Salt Cure. Rapin Spin users like Great Tusk and Iron Treads Other hazard removal Pokemon like Landorus-T and Great Tusk also don't like a dislike Salt Cure at their switch-in as they rely on Leftovers for passive recovery. Protect is crucial for Garganacl for more passive (more isnt the best term here i think) recovery from Leftovers and to exacerbate chip damage fromo Salt Cure. It can also help to scout moves from Choice item users like Tapu Lele and Rillaboom, as well as stalling weather turns against Rain and Sun teams. However, it is important not to over-rely on Protect and give opponents free setup turns rely on Protect too much to the point where Garganacl can be exploited by opponents. Garganacl can safely set up Stealth Rock against common pivots like Ferrothorn, Alomomola, and Slowking-G, and previously mentioned Flying types (little bit too late to say this here). It has many viable Tera Types. Garganacl has a variety of good Tera types; Tera Water can help with the match up against weather teams, and it's a good defensive type in general, but players should be careful about their opponent's Garganacl and Electric Types like Zapdos and Tapu Koko after using Terastal. turns the tables versus Pokemon like Urshifu-Rapid-Strike and Mega Scizor and performs better against Rain and Sun, but leaves it vulernable to opposing Garganacl and Electric-types like Raging Bolt and Tapu Koko. Tera Dragon has most advantages of Tera Water, as well as in addition to checking common threats like Ogerpon-W and Mega Charizard Y, but it makes Garganacl weak to some targets it could've soft-checked like Booster Energy Iron Valiant and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele (dont see the need for the specification of items). Tera Fairy and Tera Ghost both help Garganacl to check Fighting-types like Urshifu-R, Zamazenta, and Mega Lopunny. Teammates like Ogerpon-W and Mega Lopunny appreciate Garganacl's ability to threaten Water- and Flying-types. In return, and they can often force their opponent (can you list some pokemon here?) to defensively use Terastal and make some pivots weak to Garganacl. In return, Garganacl also benefits from them dealing with offensive targets (add onto here with some mons as well). Garganacl's main way to gain momentum is via Salt Cure, so opponents with Covert Cloak (who is using cloak) or Abilities like Regenerator and Poison Heal can nullify its chip damage. It is therefore very helpful to have teammates like Weavlie, Tornadus-T, or Tapu Koko to spam Knock Off or threaten common Regenerator pivots.
