If I had a nickel for every time an OM created a strong and bulky Boomburst user... STABmons gives Ursaluna-B some nice upgrades; notably, Boomburst is essentially a direct upgrade over Blood Moon, and Shore Up synergizes with Tyranitar's sand, unlike Moonlight, which is neutered by it. Calm Mind in conjunction with Ursaluna-B's great natural bulk make it incredibly hard to take down with direct damage, allowing it to accrue multiple boosts relatively safely and blast through the opposition. Vacuum Wave scares out faster foes like Gholdengo and Tyranitar, which are 2HKOed at +1. 128 Speed EVs give Ursaluna-B the jump on uninvested Corviknight and Skeledirge. Covert Cloak shuts off Mortal Spin poison from foes like Toxapex, while Leftovers offers general longevity. While Ursaluna-B is very bulky, it struggles to find safe setup windows against common attackers like Volcanion and Great Tusk, so checks to these like Rotom-W and Corviknight are recommended. RegenVest Toxapex can annoy Leftovers sets, as it can tank even a +2 Boomburst and threaten to poison Ursaluna-B with Mortal Spin, so allies that can reliably pressure it like Gholdengo are recommended. Tera Fighting boosts Vacuum Wave's damage and lets Ursaluna-B shed its weaknesses against foes like Great Tusk and Rotom-W.
