Welcome to the first edition of the SS SU Open! Sword and Shield Sub-Zero Used (SS SU) is an unofficial usage-based tier based on when SS ZU was current gen, having followed its ladder usage until the end of the generation. SS SU has been continuously played by a small community of users through the SU Discord even after the release of SV SU in 2023, seeing tournaments, roomtours, matchmaking, discussion and more. It has been over a year and a half since the SS SU Sendoff Tour in 2023, so we are back for another SS SU forum tour! We are excited to hold the tournament in the SS subforums thanks to approval from RoA staff - hopefully this will be the first of many!

Rules:
- Bringing anything not legal in SS SU will result in a forfeit of the match, so make sure to either use the challenge code or triple check the banlist.
- Battles are played in a best of three series with double elimination.
- Battles should take place on the Pokemon Showdown! and Smogtours servers ONLY. Do not submit games from other servers.
- Standard battle clauses apply.
- Replays will be mandatory.
