SS National Dex OU Money Tour - ($200 USD Prize Pool!)

Welcome to SS National Dex OU!
Back in late 2019, arguably the most fun generation in Gen 7 had come to an end, Dexit loomed large & everyone's favourite mechanics had been scrapped.
Trainers were obviously not too thrilled at the prospect of losing everything they loved & so National Dex as a format was formed out of a desire to keep the flame burning.
I've probably been playing pokemon longer than most people on this forum have been alive & the best thing I've got out of it is the friendships & memories I've made along the way.
During Gen 8 specifically, I made a lot of friends in the competitive scene thanks to me finally deciding to be active on discord.
As a result, I got introduced to the NatDex community.
I've made a lot of friends in this particular community & have so many great memories just messing around on ladder, helping in tours & just talking about mons or anything else with frens.
Y'all have given me so much, so I decided I wanted to give back a little bit; & so the idea of a money tour was born.
This will be a double elimination tour using a best of 3 games format.
Each round will last 1 week.
There is a cash prize for top placements.
Prize distribution will be $100 USD to the winner, $50 USD to the runner up, and $25 USD each to 3rd & 4th place, courtesy of yours truly.

Tournament Rules:
- General tournament rules & regulations can be found here.
- Format: SS National Dex OU
- This tournament will use the standard battle clauses & the SS National Dex banlist, which can be found on Smogon's strategy dex.
- Best of three, double elimination
- Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown! or the SmogTours server.
- If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
- SW/SH cartridge win conditions are in place; there are no ties.
- Replays are mandatory!
