Welcome to the SS National Dex OU Money Tour!

This will be a double elimination tour using a best of 3 games format.
Each round will last 1 week.
There is a cash prize for top placements.
Prize distribution will be $100 USD to the winner, $50 USD to the runner up, and $25 USD each to 3rd & 4th place, courtesy of yours truly.

Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules & regulations can be found here.
  • Format: SS National Dex OU
  • This tournament will use the standard battle clauses & the SS National Dex banlist, which can be found on Smogon's strategy dex.
  • Best of three, double elimination
  • Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown! or the SmogTours server.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • SW/SH cartridge win conditions are in place; there are no ties.
  • Replays are mandatory!

ChrisPBacon vs Fc

Since Fc has come through the losers bracket, he will need to win two BO3 sets, while ChrisPBacon only needs to win one BO3 set.

Clawed Winter & Luthier, the both of you did really well to make the money rounds & should be proud of your achievements.

R8 - About 5 months ago, I messaged you on Discord about an idea I had to create a money tour for SS NDOU & laid out the plans for it. After a few discussions about policy, rules & your advice on hosting, I was able to get the go-ahead to post sign-ups. Thanks for helping me get the idea off the ground & to make it a reality fren :{D

Runo - Thanks for the help co-hosting the tour with me & picking up the slack when I was busy.

a fairy - A special shoutout to you. I'm very grateful for all the help & advice you provided me all tour. From helping with all the act claims, to the bracketmaker, to rule disputes, coinflips & everything else; I definitely would've struggled a lot if it weren't for your help. While we didn't always agree on what the tournament rules should be, I value the input you gave on everything regarding the tour & I appreciate the time you took out to advise me on how to proceed. Thanks again fren :{D

To all the players, I'm very thankful that so many of you decided to sign up for my tour.
It was a long, grueling tour, played over many months with many ups & downs, but we finally made it to end.
There were a lot of cool & exciting battles to watch & enjoy. I hope you all had fun playing your sets.
We now have a whole SS NDOU circuit to look forward to :{D

Lastly, I want to express my appreciation & gratitude for the NatDex community & greater Pokemon community as a whole.
Thanks for being welcoming; & while we all have different views, ideas & philosophies on how the game should be played & enjoyed, I'm glad we can all discuss, play & have fun doing something we all love & enjoy :{D
