[OVERVIEW]
Greedent is not a good Pokemon. It is outclassed as a setup sweeper by Bouffalant, which has a better ability with Sap Sipper and a useable Speed stat. Greedent is easily revenge killed and completely ruined by status moves and Knock Off.

Greedent tries to sweep teams with Belly Drum when paired with Trick Room, using Cheek Pouch to fully heal after Belly Drum. In practice, Trick Room is not a good playstyle, and Greedent is practically useless when used outside of it due to its poor Speed and weakness to Fighting-types, status, and item disruption. Similarly, if Greedent can't get a Belly Drum off in the first place, then it's also useless due to having mediocre Attack and a weak STAB move. Overall, if you want to use a Normal-type setup sweeper, Bouffalant is a better choice due to being much more immediately threatening while being able to setup on Grass-type Pokemon with Sap Sipper.

Furthermore, Greedent is completely ruined by Knock Off, Encore, and status., which leaves it It is easily revenge killed due to its absolutely horrible speed stat paired with a lackluster defensive typing. and completely ruined by status moves and Knock Off. (this is not sv btw, toxic is the main culprit, not encore)
