Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 176 SAtk / 80 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Fire Blast
- Ice Beam
- Crunch
- Tyranitar gets the ball going and the set is perfect for the synergy of my team. It gets up rocks which is crucial and due to the chople berry, is able to counter many common leads such as Deoxys-s. Fire blast KO'es Ferrothorn and ice beam is for gliscor. Crunch is just for stab and is for anything else who resists the earlier two such as jellicent. He is also good at sponging special attacks with the sandstorm boost.
Trait: Sand Rush
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- X-Scissor
Excadrill is a fine pokemon who is actually quite versatile. He acts as my revenge killer and my late game sweeper. This is the standard set which with only a very few pokemon give me trouble. Yes I'm looking at you skamory. Ev's are standard and I am currently using adamant but I might switch to jolly to at least tie with other excadrills who always seem to run jolly. I might change X- scissor to rapid spin just to laugh in stall teams faces.
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 32 Def / 224 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Thunder Wave
- Iron Head
- Ice Punch
- Fire Punch
Jirachi is the star of this team and the glue that holds it together. T wave with a combination of a serene graced iron head is godly. I once flinced a full health jellicent to death. Fire and Ice punch are strictly for coverage. Fire being for steels and ice being specifically for gliscor who if I can catch on the switch can inflict massive damage. With this Ev spread I can take a plus 4 leaf storm from serperior, T wave it and proceed to flinch it to death. It also walls any form of latios/ latias taking very minuscule damage from even a choice specs hp fire All in all, Jirachi is a boss!
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Fling
- Protect
- Earthquake
- Acrobatics
Gliscor is my check to a host of many different physical sweepers including excadrill, roobushin and blaziken. He is jirachis partner in walling and they have good synergy together. Fling is a one time toxic which helps bring acrobatics power level to 105. This helps me net crucial KO's and that is why I choose to leave toxic out. His hp and def are maxed out and in doing this it allows me to even take a plus two outrage from a dragonite.
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Disable
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
Subdisable Gengar is a menace. Seriously this thing is awesome. Come in on a poke who has only one move on you, sub up, and then disable it. Many common fighting types, gliscor and even scarfed pokes if I have a sub up, fall prey to him. He also has perfect type coverage with shadow ball and focus blast. He forces many switches and he usually helps me keep my composure mid game. He has excellent synergy with tyranitar in particular to his immunities to ground and fighting types which helps to alleviate my crucial weaknesses to those types.
Trait: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Surf
- Secret Sword
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Keldeo is my much need all around special sweeper. Evs are self explanatory and allow to function as a fast and powerful special sweeper. Hp ice is strictly for dragons such as Garchomp who I can't afford to give a 2HKO. His speed and coverage allow him to sweep through teams unchecked and his decent bulk allows him to check water and ice attacks which can give my team trouble. After a calm mind he can even take a genesect tbolt and OHKO anything that he hits super effectively.
I need any and all suggestions for this team because if it's not number one there has to be something wrong. If anything , gengar would be the first to go so you might want to start there...
