Please feel free to comment about any pokemon/move. I am a relatively new player and will value all advice. this is also my first Rate my team so critiques on its style are also much appreciated. I have tested this team and I have about a 60-70 win percentage, although I am not highly ranked.
Rotom-W @ Chesto Berry
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 208 HP / 252 SDef/44Spe
calm Nature (+Sdef, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Rest
Rotom Wash is the pokemon that I am having the most trouble on deciding on using. The bulky set I have listed here is quite standard, being able to easily counter talonflame and many other physical sets int the tier. Edit: went for a specially defensive set as WoW already cripples physical attackers
Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- superpower
- Knock off
This is a very standard Scizor set. Choice banded U turn compliments Rotom's Volt Switch nicely, as well as giving Lucario many safe switches. Pursuit decimates ghost types to further help Lucario sweep. I am fairly confident in this pokemon.
Lucario (M) @ Lucarionite
Trait: Steadfast
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Aura Sphere
- Vacuum Wave
- Flash Cannon
- Nasty Plot
This is the star of this team. Mega Lucario is a threat and in my opinion the best mega. I worry about the coverage of this set as I am not able to hit Aegislash hard. Would it be worth loosing priority or nasty plot for Dark Pulse
Mamoswine (M) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Att, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Ice Shard
This set is mainly used as a lead, although I often use it mid game as well for it is such a great dragon check and with the defog boost SR are even harder to keep on the field.
Mandibuzz (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Overcoat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Impish Nature
- Foul Play
- Toxic
- Defog
- Roost
Defog clears sticky web and all other hazards that lucario hates without fail and Mandibuzz's bulk makes it very easy to get one off. Knock off completely destroys some pokemon. This set is set up bait fo CM users without whirlwind though.
Gengar (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: timid
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Sludge Bomb
The only pokemon on this team that isn't completely standard. Scarfed Gengar suprises many threats like Greninja and scarfed Genesect. It has near perfect coverage with shadow ball focus blast and sludgebomb. I chose Tbolt over any of Gengar's plethora of coverage moves as this team doesn't have any electric moves otherwise.
