Lets revive this with some VR noms! Yes yes. I've played a multitude of cups, classics and tests for team tours for this tier so it's probably one of my better RUs even if my presence on it is more loose. That said, I can speak on a couple of these quite fine, so with that being said lets get YAPPING

C -> B+
Possibly the hardest resurgence in the tier, Mega Amphy has seen quite a good amount of uses across various tours. RUPL saw Denial used it here with good success, and since then I've long since STOLEN it and used it for various games with lots of success between tests and side-games. SMPL saw... way too little uses (why is week 7 the first ever use of this what is wrong w yall) but when it showed up it won quite convincingly with a rest/talk set. I ain't scouring for RUWC replays with no replays thread but I'm sure it got used a couple times there. Either way most people I've talked to agree that C is a criminal under ranking at it warrants a rise. B is a comfortable spot, but you can argue for B+ as well (which is what I personally find fits it)

One of the best Z-Move merchants in the entire tier. Alot of teams slap virizion on as a bandaid and think its enough, and its honestly not. A personal set I've been messing with is Thunder Wave NP Ghostium. While it sacrifices the braindead setup on registeel unless you choose Mono Sball, which is doable but not ideal; in exchange you get to completely thrash teams that rely on Virizion to bandaid for a team otherwise fairly weak to missy. Even beyond this set, the Mon feels under ranked. Its an incredibly dangerous mon that any team unprepared for it gets run over by, and it's probably the pokemon I'm the most conscious of in the builder.

This should come as no surprise, its become alot of people #1 Mega and for good reason. Its just so good at its job, and its impact is felt in every game its in. It has moveset variance for a variety of its stopgaps like Protect over Sub for Golisopod, HP Fire for Escavalier and other steels. That said, Subseed is the primary showstopper. I don't have a ton to even say here this thing is just phenomenal.

Ok hear me out before u laugh. Defensive florges is straight up dogshit. Checks nothing passive blob that brings no value. But offensive florges? Well now we're really talking. Pixie plate Florges has become one of my favorite mons to use, and I've used it quite often like vs Xiri here and it completely stole the game away. Alot of teams run bronzong as their steel, and the ones that do are liable for prime pickings with pursuit support. Knock support too, as be it Metagross or Zong or Regi, they all rely on lefties to stick around. If you manage to knock those off? Then you have a feast on your hands. "Oh but what if they dont let you knock their steels!" They do. Trust me they just do. I've sent drapion hard into Registeel in the worlds most obvious knock on the planet and they just stay in for a greedy toss its truly something to be admired. Stacking this with other steel-targeting partners like Mega Sceptile lets you work wonders, while the defensive property gives you value vs things like opposing M-Scept, Mega Blastoise, Raikou, and others. It's good, try it.

I've never really found this thing particular compelling in the builder. It's not bad and I see the appeal but it always comes up short for me. It soft checks alot of special attackers which is nice but it doesn't last long enough and alot of them can muscle past like Mega Sceptile or Nidoqueen after 1 or 2 interactions. Offensively its not bad again but... you can do better you know it.

I'm bored, so gonna yap a bit about my favorite meta of all time: SM RU. Between SM RU Open and RUBD, I've spent a lot of time thinking about and building SM RU recently, and I think it's overdue for a resource update, so this is my attempt to get the ball rolling.

:mismagius: A- to A
:marowak-alola: B- to B
I was extremely annoying about Ghost resists in the team server during RUBD, and I find it strange that a lot of people forgo them in the builder. There's more to teambuilding than just checking boxes on type resists and you can say, patch over a Missy weakness with something like a CM Viriz, but I think it's generally unsound to leave your Ghost resist at home, especially when you're using Registeel.

Mismagius is a really strong mon, so I won't say much about it, but Marowak-Alola is a buster and needs more love. Bulky offense is the preeminent team comp in the meta, and Marowak is adept at forcing trades with its huge attack stat and excellent STAB coverage. Its typing also allows it to switch into Rose and Virizion one time each and apply pressure back - assuming they are not Grassium Z and Rockium Z, respectively - which gives it some defensive utility in those matchups.

It does require support and it can be forced out by defensive staples like Mandibuzz and Milotic, but an offensive pivot to bring it in and something that abuses those mons' recovery turns, aren't too tough to fit. Again, a lot of people drop Ghost resists. Run some bulk on it for trading and unga bunga to your heart's content.

:bewear: B+ to A-
I think Berry SD Fighters are generally underrated. Lum for setting up and resist berries are under-utilized items on a mon that typically holds a Choice Band or a Z crystal. Setting up with impunity or killing a check definitely have their place, and this is a very flexible and threatening mon that can run a lot of items. Comfortably SDing in front of a Registeel, or running Chople and surprising something like a Blastoise or a Passimian, can turn the tide of a game. It, much like Toxicroak, also exploits Golisopod, which is nice. It is slow, but it's a strong, adaptable mon with more defensive utility than it maybe gets credit for.

:porygon2: C to C+
The Z-Conversion set is cool and can take games off surprise factor alone. It will struggle to punch through specially defensive walls like Milo and Registeel, so you'll have to have a plan for those if you're gonna run this mon, but it can really mess with more offensive teams if it catches a Special Attack boost via Download. Not an amazing mon by any stretch of the imagination, but it's a fun, little matchup fish that can stave off some threats even in games where a Z-Conversion sweep isn't in the cards.

So many people said their understand in this meta, infact since RUBD i don't play RU too much, but still building some stuff so i will give few idea.
:steelix: C to B-/B
i think C rank on steelix is too low, i'm surely that steelix not good enough, but it's strong psydef and ground type give it some advantage, psydef can allow steelix eat cb drap's move, ground type can allow it block raikou/vikavolt's volt switch, infact since 2019's SSD,some player use steelix in tour.
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen7ru-690644
For example, in this RUPL game, steelix's psydef eat flygon's earthquake and block raikou's thunderbolt showed it's unique defense characteristic.

Hey everyone, VR update coming in right before RUPL, props to Ming549 for helping in assembling the team and to all voters who made it possible, that being said, the changes are up!
