EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Energy Ball
- Recover

Calm Mind Reuniclus’s potential to ravage unprepared teams makes it one of SM OU’s most fearsome sweepers. Its typing and Rocky Helmet let it check and punish major threats like Mega Medicham and Mega Lopunny as well. Magic Guard improves its defensive presence and lets it set up on the likes of Chansey, Toxapex, and Heatran. Energy Ball is a unique coverage option in that it smacks the otherwise-check Swords Dance Gliscor after using Roost and provides decent coverage against common revenge killers like Greninja and Mega Swampert. One common option to help overwhelm special walls that beat Reuniclus, like Heart Swap Magearna, is to pair it with other special attackers like Mega Latias and Mega Alakazam. Magnezone can also trap Mega Scizor and Skarmory. Toxic Spikes support from Toxapex helps Reuniclus deal with Pursuit trappers like Weavile and Mega Tyranitar as well as more offensive matchups where a full sweep is less likely. Reuniclus most often shines on balance and semistall teams, as its useful defensive utility and sweeping potential make it a reliable multifaceted threat.

Calm Mind Reuniclus’ potential to ravage defensive teams
Reuni is a lot scarier to honest offenses than to fat teams that tend to have stuff like heart swap/twave, or to HOs with huge breakers that don't care about reuni or stuff like broken serp

I wouldn't say that reuniclus tends to require a lot of dedicated support — here's a list I made of the most popular eball reuni teams:

The only pursuit trapper here is scarf krook, which doesn't really beat latias. It's usually a bigger priority to find a way around heart swap mag, as well as haze pex and/or twave chansey and overall PP issues (lati roost is also relevant), often done with a complementary special breaker. In parallel, while I agree that reuni fits best on fat, it's one of those mons that you don't need to specifically build around; helmet 2atk in particular is often just thrown on as a medi answer that can make progress.

Finally, where I would mention weavile and ttar is where you talk about tspikes, since energy ball isn't doing much. Maybe mention double switching out to avoid pursuit, or just the idea that the opponent is pressured to remove tspikes to avoid losing long term
