SS OU Slowbro's Team Of Maliciousness

:psysly:
Hooray! Slowbro is coming to Galar soon. I might just post a team I made first. BTW I'm a new user to the forums so don't expect this team to be "good".
Also R.I.P. Slowbro is illegal. The pokemon need their revenge.

Copperajah
Copperajah @ Iapapa Berry
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Lax Nature
- Rock Blast
- Iron Defense
- Iron Head
- Taunt
I have no comment except the fact that I really wanted Copperajah to have high defense (as well as high attack). This is the reason why I gave it Iron Defense and the Lax nature. To note that Taunt has two side effects. With Taunt, Copperajah can attack the opponent more easily without ANY healing moves. The bad thing is, this guy might get hit by super effective moves. Whenever Copperajah is low on health, it can gobble up the Iapapa berry easily. Rock Blast and Iron Head? They are moves that will be needed for later while boosting up Copperajah's Defense stat.

Togekiss (beauty.)
Togekiss @ Mental Herb
Ability: Hustle
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Endeavor
- Heal Bell
- Play Rough
- Nasty Plot
Welp. Baton Pass is banned, so I had came up with a better strategy. Once Togekiss is out, all I need to do is use Nasty Plot. This raises special attack, considering the fact that Togekiss has a bit of a low SpA? Play Rough is a move that has a 10% chance to lower the opponent's attack by one stage (if it hits.) You COULD supposedly use it whenever you want, I guess... anyways, Heal Bell is useful whenever a team member is paralyzed. Aight, this might be actually good. Endeavor is useful in one case: When you are about to die and you want to make your opponent die of recoil. I'm guessing that this is just plain simple.

Gallade
Gallade (M) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bulk Up
- Calm Mind
- Power-Up Punch
- Psycho Cut
You might be asking, "Why does Gallade have a Weakness Policy?" Well, all Gallade's gotta do is stand up for the crowd, get hit super effectively, and BOOM! GET THOSE STATS RAISED! To make Gallade MORE powerful, I have three moves that raise good stats of the Pokemon! Bulk Up+Calm Mind must be an overused move set, so I used it in a good way. With full stats for the duo, it can sweep with Power Up Punch and Psycho Cut! To note that Power-Up Punch always raises attack, yep I'm serious. Also Psycho Cut has a higher chance for a critical hit. As long as no berry is used, this one is gonna sweep the teams.
Orbeetle_Shiny_SS.gif

Shiny Orbeetle
Orbeetle @ King's Rock
Ability: Swarm
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Mild Nature
- Leech Life
- Protect
- Agility
- Infestation
I also had the same problem with Togekiss as I did here. Honestly, Infestation can trap your opponent whenever this dude can easily take down the other Pokemon. Also, you wanna know what's different about Leech life and Giga Drain? Leech Life is a CONTACT move! Also it's a different type so yeah. Maybe most Grass pokemon can't take this thing down. With Agility it can get ahead of the battle and get infestation over with. So guess what? AGILITY+INFESTATION ACTUALLY WORKS!!! Yahoo!
Weezing_Galarian_SS.gif

Galarian Weezing
Weezing-Galar @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rest
- Memento
- Toxic Spikes
- Dark Pulse
Okay then, gotta get this over with. We have a Physically Defensive Galarian Weezing. Well, this guy is almost bad, I guess. Chesto Berry+Rest acts like a 1 Turn instant 100% Heal. Heck, this is even better than Roost, which only heals 50% HP. A bit good, in most cases, but when your Chesto berry gets wasted on a Pokemon that puts you to sleep before you do? Welp, :fukyu: . Toxic Spikes and Memento are there for reasons. First of all, Toxic Spikes is a bit useful. Just lay them down and watch your opponent suffer. And second, Memento is a good thing in most cases. You could just wanna get their Attack and SpA down, and make them rage hard. (I SWEAR THIS IS NOT A TROLL TEAM.) Or you could just do what's necessary. I mean, Dark Pulse is there for pokemon in the team that are specifically weak to it. Sigh.

And finally, Shiny Haxorus.
Haxorus @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Rivalry
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Poison Jab
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
Here he is. The legend. You probably waited so long for this. Dragon Dance+Poison Jab is a good set because you can sweep when you get high attack, or just poison when you need to. The only thing to note: Never. Spam. Poison Jab. On. This. Boi. I know, only a single attacking move is useless, but Sleep Talk can help get rid of the team easily, stacking Dragon Dances and Poison Jabs. Watch out for rests when you use Sleep Talk, because they are USELESS. So that's a reason why this boi can be good. Any comments on him?
And that's it!
Before you say if this is a trolling team, I have attempted a team before gen 8 in the past, however I got locked for it because spam.
Please do not remove this post, mods. I worked SO HARD ON IT!!!

I'm going to take you by your word and assume that this is a serious post and team, in which case I've got to say that there's really nothing to rate here, sorry.
There's no synergy or strategy here, the sets make no sense (Nasty Plot Togekiss with a physical attack, Calm Mind Gallade with no special attacks, defensive Copperajah with offensive EV investment, Rest-Talk Haxorus who isn't defensive enough to pull a set like that off, Haxorus running Heavy-Duty Boots even though it's not weak to Stealth Rocks, Weakness Policy Gallade who also isn't tanky enough to run that item, and so so much more), Gallade and Orbeetle have no business being in OU... Really there is just nothing here.
We all start somewhere, I sure as hell am not too proud of my first teams looking back, and honestly I'm not all that proud of a lot of my current ones either. What I can advise though is to get to grips with the game, understand what goes into making a good team, what you need and what you don't. There's a lot of resources on Smogon, check out the Viability Rankings to see what's good in the tier and worth using and considering, check out the OU Role Compendium to understand what they all do and the Analyses to understand how they work, what sets to run, who they work well with etc; it's early stages so some analyses are still pending but you can check the ones being currently written here. Lastly, check out the OU Sample Teams, these are tried and tested teams that are great to get started with once you understand the game; once you've had good success with these, you can give teambuilding another go.
Best of luck, bro.

Would like to point out that the teams in the linked thread are all still outdated (exhibit A: Conk w/o Knock) and have not been changed since Pokémon Home came out. They will provide a much better idea of what a team should be like than whatever this is, but no adjustments have been made for the new mons yet.

Reading the OU Analyses in conjunction with the Viability Rankings is a better idea at this stage since a majority of the sets and analyses have been updated for post-Home meta. Generally speaking you can ignore the "other Pokémon with strategies" section on the page I linked, as with a handful of exceptions, most of those are month 1 analyses for now unviable mons that just haven't been taken down yet. The Role Compendium is also fairly useful, though not everything on it is very viable (Sirfetch'd Vaporeon and Celebi come to mind as examples).

Alternatively, you can watch higher ladder matches and try to snipe teams from those. To find high ladder matches:
1. Go on Showdown and click "Watch a battle"
2. Under the "Format:" dropdown menu, change it to OU (under Sw/Sh Singles obv)
3. Under the "Minimum Elo" dropdown menu, change it to 1700
4. Choose a battle and watch it (duh)

Would like to mention Nasty Plot is useless on Togekiss cause Play Rough is physical

Thank you to everyone who has given me the helpful advice! I'll try doing all of these. Note that I might remove/lock this post, just saying.
