Alrighty, so I wanted to make a monotype because the metagame is going to blow up as soon as pokebank comes out so I figured I'd just get a jump start. Now obviously, there are a bunch of types that stand out in this generation. Bug is fantastic. Flying is crazy powerful. Ghost Runs the world.

Normal?

Not so much

But that's what I do, I like to make something awesome out of the worst typing. I've been laddering in Pokebank OU with this team and got to are 1622, but I want it to be better, I know there are flaws and and kinks and I'm looking to iron them out, so here it is.

Team Building Process:

When I was thinking where to start, I figured I'd start with a powerhouse and work my way back from there, and as we know, there was one new powerhouse introduced this generation.

Diggersby Tho?
Right....

Next, I needed the complete opposite, which is a physical wall. A physical wall is probably the HARDEST thing to find and do right on a normal team, because honestly, Fighting will crush your soul anyways so... but then I discovered the true power, the true BALK of this monstrosity. The one they call FURFROU!!!

Seriously though...

Now, this next one was something of debate for me. When I thought of a special wall, I thought of snorlax, He's a monstrosity not to be messed with. But again, my team was getting more and more completely weak to fighting. So I found another baby. This pretty young thing who takes a Draco Meteor like it's a Tackle. And that baby is Meloetta.

Now, I figured I'd just get the mega out of the way and yes I know what you're going to say, but to be fair, it's the only Normal type mega and if there was another one I'd be using it so get off it. So here is the cheapo Mega.

Alright, now the main problem for my team was fighting types. Not only are they powerful, but they are FAST. And I'm certainly aware that a Scarf Keldeo can sweep my life most likely. So I needed sticky webs. And spore is a pretty nice addition... And SmashPass...

Now, just to make sure that I was sure that I could take care of both fighting and bug types, which were the scariest types for my team, I needed something fast, and something with a vengeance. There's only one guy with the

GUTS to do it...

So that's the team so far... Here we go

Diggersby (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Return
- Hammer Arm
- Rock Slide

So here's the thing with Diggersby. It's a monster. That is all. No but seriously, Choice Scarf on Diggersby is pretty important, because even with the sticky web, Some things still outspeed the D, and in the unfortunate event that I do not get the sticky web up, it is still a crazy important move. You may disagree with my choice in Hammer Arm, but I really have nothing else to hit Dark types with...

Swellow (M) @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Facade
- Protect
- U-turn

This thing is great, it's fast as hell and with Guts, Facade destroys and Brave Bird OHKO's anything non defensive that doesn't resist it. I don't know what else there is to say about it, pretty self

explanatory.

Furfrou (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Fur Coat
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Cotton Guard
- Baby-Doll Eyes
- Protect
- Toxic

This is probably the move set I'm having the most trouble with. With Steel and Poison Teams it is useless, but it really have no worthwhile attacking moves. Someone please help.

Meloetta @ Assault Vest
Ability: Serene Grace
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef
Modest Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Psychic
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball

This thing can take ANY hit from ANYTHING. It's honestly so Bulky it blows my mind. Hyper voice is a great stab move to use when things are immune or resistant to psychic, thunderbolt gives me water coverage I didn't have before, and shadow ball Almost sweeps ghost teams.

Kangaskhan (F) @ Kangaskhanite
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Sucker Punch
- Fire Punch
- Power-Up Punch

Yeah yeah. Mega Kang will be banned. And it's cheap. I get it. The only reason I'm using it is because it's the only normal Mega. If you want tot give me another, be my guest. Anyways, this isn't quite a standard moveset for Mega Kang. Power-Up Punch is a must have, As well as Earthquake. Sucker punch is my answer to priority, and I decided to chose Fire Punch over Fake Out or Return simply because my team gets walled by Skarmory and killed by Excadrill on a ballon (without +2 obviously)

Smeargle (F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Spore
- Sticky Web
- Shell Smash
- Baton Pass

Standard Set, I don't see what else would work better on it?

Anyways, I could use any help you have to give, I'm open to it all!

THANKS

Hello.
Your descriptions are too short to fit the RMT rules requirements.
I encourage you to PM me an updated version of this team with beefed up descriptions, and since you're new, to join the Mentor Program. I'll be unlocking this thread after that.

Have a nice day.
