Client "Show PMs in chat rooms" does not work in single panel layout

What is the bug?
The "Show PMs in chat rooms" toggle in the settings do not work when the "Layout" panel is set to "Single panel."

Are you able to replicate it? If so, how?

• Toggle "Show PMs in chat rooms"
• Set the "Layout" mode to "Single panel"
• ???
• Profit
