Hi everyone! My name is LOLG (who would have guessed?), and I am new to the OU tier this gen. Not that I'm bad at pokemon, but I mainly prefer RU and NU. I build 5 teams and I am most comfortable with this one. Also, since I am a noob at this tier, I copied some smogon sets because I have NO clue what to do with these pokemon. Sorry if you think it's cheap but, ey', smogon are the experts! And I'm no expert! So without further ado, here is my team

MEGA GALLADE:

This is Gallade. Apparently Gallade wanted to get a mega so bad that it had to come with a cost. A bad ability; but who the f*** cares! Mega Gallade is a definition of a wall breaker especially if it is paired with Swords Dance. A better ability would have been nice but it still does a pretty good job. As one of my favorite pokemon, I thought this would be the perfect pokemon to build my team around :D I run Close Combat for hard hitting stab, Zen Headbutt to hit harder and get the nice flinch chance, and finally knock off to hit ghosts and its just a good move in general! It' EV spread is simple making it outspeed pokemon as much as it can while still having a monstrous attack stat

HEATRAN:

I mainly have Heatran to wall Clefable and Talonflame (I hate bird spam). These pokemon hurt Gallade quite a bit while having a niche against other Heatran bar earth power, sylveon, hp fire venusaur, mega zard Y, life orb lati@s etc. This is actually a smogon set because I don't know how to run a heatran :p I have stealth rock support to get crucial KO's with my offensive pokemon as well as forcing them to switch out which will result in hazard damage. I also have toxic to not get completely walled by talonflame and roar to get my way around calm mind clefable and other set up sweepers. And lava plume is there for chip damage and has the same burn damage as scald.

KYUREM-BLACK:

Making my team I realized that I can't stop grenfrog or scarf lando. And I decided I needed another pokemon that could dent teams hard; REALLY HARD! Kyerum Black came into mind. I was originally going to run assault vest to sponge hits from greninja and dishing them back but I wanted outspeed it and kill it rather. So I decided to run scarf and this set smogon set that allows me to outspeed scarf lando itselt and KO it with Ice Beam. It KO's Keldeo with Fusion Bolt, It two hit KO's almost everything with outrage and can hit gliscor hard with ice beam.

SLOWBRO:

Ah Slowbro! Might be derpy but it can tank hits very well. Now for the first time in forever (not really), this is NOT a smogon set. In fact it is EV'ed to live a dark pulse from a life orb greninja and take a thunderbolt from a timid scarf magnezone. My plan here is to live a dark pulse from greninja and then paralyze it so my Gallade can come at clean it up. Not only that, it can also do a fine job at checking talonflame and landorus and completely walling mega metagross and gallade and does a fine job T-Waving opposing threats like greninja (as mentioned before) and Mega Zard X at +1. This helps my Gallade to sweep better. Fire Blast also throws ferrothorn off-guard :P (ALSO, WHY THE F*** DO I KEEP SEEING A BARBIE AD EVERY TWO MINUTES????)

LANDORUS-T:

Landorus-T is my defensive pivot and switch in to earthquake. I have no idea why I have two stealth rock users but it comes it handy. I can check mega pinsir by living a +1 return and following up with stone edge BARRING HAX! With this set i can comfortably switch into physical attackers (such as landorus-T itself) and forces my opponents to switch which is the point of my team really. Forcing switches can also give me initiative. Also, I can bluff the scarf by switching into it on greninja or something (which has worked a lot) and can help me later on. In summary, it is just a good pivot and can sustain in the battle field and forces switches. This EV spread allows me to gain maximum bulk while being able to live an hp ice from a mega manectric. Also the reason for 30 speed evs is too gain initiative other bulky Landorus-T than try to U-Turn. But too bad I will be slower and thus gain initiative.

CLEFABLE:

Finally. I have clefable. I cannot tell you how much this thing has saved me. It's main purpose was to wall dragons like lati@s and dark types such as sableye as well. It also checks Garchomp and Mega-Gayarados. But what I didn't realize is that it be a monster with cosmic power. So my plan is to set up on a dragon type such as lati@s (if you don't know, "lati@s represents both latias and latios ;]), and then no one can touch me aside from steel types which I hope my Gallade, heatran and landorus will be able to deal with. In the end this thing will force people to forfeit because it is so powerful once it sets up along with stored power OMG!

I know my team has some holes in it but I am a beginner to this tier after all. Maybe I should change somethings here and there. What do you think? Make sure to drop a comment down below, click like and subscribe and I'll see you guys next time! Make sure to give me tips and who I should worry more about. Because I know that in the end I am going to get destroyed by one threat I did not expect. But anyways, I appreciate if you read the whole thing :) Plz rate and I'll cya later! PEACE!!!

this is a solid ass squad you got here but one thing that came to my head when i saw your team is that bisharp sweeps your team. It sets up on scarf kyu and clef. You should change clefable to life orb low kick bisharp to beat bisharp or calm mind keld since both beat bisharp. You could also put bish over lando and put stealth rock over cosmic power on clefable. Magic guard is fine since you pack slowbro as a wall but if a mega gyara sets up too much it could be a problem so unaware is a suggestion to beat other cm clefs that are out there and if your running speed on heatran atbleast put taunt on it. Beats other hazard setters and can prevent set up. Roar is good but taunt is more usable. Also chesnaught is an option over lando since you have slowbro you dont need a check like lando since theres already a mon that does the job better. Ches beats bish and lets you keep clef since i dont know why your running 2 stealth rockers. A notable thing that i see in your team is that it gets torn up by volturn so mamo over lando t is my last option to your team since you lack priority and mamo stop volturn cores.

Pretty nice team. As stated above, you are pretty weak to Bisharp, the quickest way to deal with this without changing up your team is by running Substitute over either Zen Headbutt or Swords Dance, this lets you not get swept by it if it gets to +2. You do lose out on either coverage or the ability to wallbreak though, so you may not want that. However, one thing I would recommend more is Scarf Keldeo over Scarf Kyurem-B, not only does this give you a good Greninja and Scarf Landorus-T check but it also deals with Bisharp at the same time.

I would run Calm Mind over Cosmic Power on Clefable, simply because that makes it far less passive and easy to take advantage of. Stored Power basically means that you need to get to +4 to actually deal damage, Calm Mind however lets you hit stuff even after just 1 or 2 turns. Not to mantion that with Stored Pwoer you won't be hitting much with your main STAB move Trust me, Calm Mind is much better on Clefable overral.

I would also consider running Taunt over Roar on Heatran. Your team is a bit weak to opposing Clefable, and though Roar does phaze Clefable out, Taunt is a much more direct answer to it. However, you can always set up on opposing Clefable with your own Clefable, so I don't know if this is really necessary. Also, I would run Protect over Stealth Rock, you really don't need 2 SR setters on the same team. Protect is very useful because it lets you scout for random EQs from Latios and rack up toxic damage+get more leftovers recovery.

CM Mega-Slowbro looks like a huge problem for this team, as do CM Mega-Latias and DD MAltaria. One way to fix this is running Unaware on Clefable to fix this, however, you then lose out on Softboiled so you need to run Moonlight which is worse due to the low PP and weather reliance. You could also drop Stored Power for Wish+Protect, this gives you the ability to wishpass to Heatran and Landorus-T so I would actually recommend that more than Softboiled.

You also seem pretty weak to Charizard-Y. I guess you could run Latios on your team to fix this (it also gives you very nice Defog support), though I'm not sure what you could replace for it. Landorus-T seems like the least useful member of your team overall, especially if you keep SR on Heatran. It would also make you weaker to Bisharp so you pretty much need Keldeo on your team if you decide to run it, but I guess you could run HP Fighting to lure Bisharp.

Hi there! I have a few propositions for you.

On your Kyurem-B, I would run Iron Head over either Outrage or Dragon Claw. Iron head will help you have better coverage against Mega-Altaria, Clefable, and Sylveon who all threaten Kyurem-B. Because you have 2 Dragon Type moves, you are filling the spot of a coverage move that could change your game. Iron Head will also help you get occasional Flinches that will greatly help you in future fights.

As Albacore stated above, you sholud run Taunt over Roar on Heatran. By doing this, you have made it difficult for a Mega-Sableye to set up and sweep your team. And because Heatran has Flash Fire, Mega-Sableye cannot Will-O-Wisp, so that is what a MSableye user will most likely go for in this situation. Also I would replace SR with Flash Cannon. The main reason being the new (Specs) HP Ground Sylveon that has been noted of. Where your SR user is will come in a moment.

On Slowbro, I would run Flamethrower over Fire Blast. The extra 15% accuracy will eventually become fatal in last minute fights, because if you end up missing, then you will probably not win. There is also no point to running Fire Blast over Flamethrower because Ferrothorn and Scizor cannot take either, regardless of which one you decide to run.

Now for your SR user, I would have it be Clefable. If you are going to run Stored Power, I would have SR replace Moonblast. Moonblast, being needed for Dark types that Stored power does not affect, can be easily delt with Gallade.

That is all I have. I hoped I helped you!

Thank you so much!!! :] I will probably take Landorus-T out and replace it with chesnaught as someone suggested me as I can deal with Bisharp and Rotom. I know zard Y with e-q can be a problem but I guess I'll have to work my way around it. Since Landorus is gone I can probably keep rocks on my tran. And maybe my last move should be protect. My clefable will be changes to calm mind too! Thanks so much dude!!!

EDIT: Looking back at it, maybe adding Latios and Keldeo is better xD I will do waht you say since it might be better for me in the long run! :]
