Night 3 ended.

Everyone wakes up. Nobody has died. Perhaps it’s time to relax a little - nobody’s out to get you, right?

This post marks the beginning of Day 4. Carl The Turtle has been chosen as president. Please send in your chancellor nominations ASAP.

The nomination phase ends tomorrow (March 8th) at 9 PM GMT-5.

Good morning, gamers. I am gaming all day. My attendence will be spotty at best.

Wow it's really weird how this keeps happening. Surely some of these people who claim to roll 33% every time are actually mafia.

Chickening are you going to answer my question from earlier? I have my own theories and was excited to play the game and talk about stuff.

yes, sorry! i only saw the question after the day ended. my opinion would also have been unhelpful, considering i would have side eyed you at the time for keeping your vote on CK at the time while agreeing the bandwagon felt ill-spirited.

des: she feels town. she’s been pretty consistent, and while not the most helpful in her questioning, it feels on brand from what i know of her
a fairy: similar story, though i reeeeeeally hate the acknowledgement of ck’s inactivity before voting ck anyway.
carl: also has read town to me this game, honestly. there’s nothing about Carl that strikes me as odd.

i’m looking at the consistent non-voters - even though this is a format that can be pulled off without really pushing people a certain way, it doesn’t excuse checking out entirely. i don’t mind a vote to not vote, but if you aren’t doing anything at all by this time? yeah that’s wild
 
Yeah my view was that fairy was the most suspect on that wagon. Having the policy evidence (claiming 4-1) and voting while like kinda walking it back was weird.

For the record I still think CK was and is a good vote because of liability reasons, and even if I think a wagon is weird the mafia not necessarily knowing each other means it's not even clear that mafia are always going to vote town. Plus there's mafia/anarchist crossfire to consider.

But the weird wagon and the chance that CK comes back meant that I was always going yo change my vote at deadline there.

It's cool that we can essentially ride to a legislative victory if we start getting even a little less unlucky with presidents/policies, but I want to get SOME evidence and reads on people in case something bad happens.

Remember when 6 fascist policies are enacted we are forced to vig someone. It sounds like we are going to 4-4 today so we will likely reach that threshold soon. Its good to have suspects because someone must go at that point.

Ya, I don't have too much for reads. My only thing with fairy is she said '1 liberal policies' which could have been a slip but Im also not sure what to make of that more than I am sure its a slip.

Des is definitely on brand so far and I dont see much reason to read her either way.

I do like Chickening and Blazade I think. Blazade has been the most proactive and I think mafia is probably not quite so active here.

I am alive; had 4 fascist policies and 1 liberal.

From what I can tell, nothing is really happening on the social deduction front and ppl are just aiming for a legislative win, which is fair enough.

From what I’ve seen from carl I think he has been quite towny, he looks genuinely interested in solving the game and that’s good enough for me rn.
 
I do think the closest person I have to a “safe” townread is Evie, because I think in a fascist position they could safely pass two fascist policies last time with reasonable doubt due to CK’s policies being randomly passed down.
As for chancellors, I believe Saber/Munchy/Chickening haven’t been in either the chancellor or presidential slot yet. I do think passing two fascist policies would be actively throwing so I don’t believe that it matters significantly, but i’m inclined to nominate Chickening for their contributions, unless someone has a compelling argument for a specific chancellor.

Yeah w/ me being gone as long as I was this is a good read I think, the benefits of passing 2 fascist policies in evie’s position outweigh the benfits of getting extra townread for passing a liberal policy in a game where town is going for legislative win imo

i would agree that as of now it’s legislation focused - which makes it painful to try and read literally anyone as of now considering things are… rather low effort? with the exception of blazade i would say this is a bit of a sleepy thread.

also i am very much not opposed to the idea of being chancellor YIPPEE

Fwiw if any chancellor tries to claim they got 4 there I definitely consider it mafia. Everyone's been toeing the line trying to see what they can get away with without being voted, legislation wise
 
So I played a lot of fucking Magic today and I qualified for Day 2!

So I'm gonna eat like a horse and sleep and likely be not on much of tomorrow, too.

Not like I checked into a whole lot happening, though...

I'm fine with chickening here, no one in this position is gonna try and float 2 fascist policies so it literally doesn't matter
