Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 44 HP / 252 Atk / 212 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Close Combat
- Knock Off

Scizor continues to be relevant in OU after 6 generations! Its typing gives it a niche on hyper offense teams as an excellent check to Iron Valiant, Kyurem, and Enamorus. Moreover, Technician + Bullet Punch makes quick work of them while KOing Pokemon like Roaring Moon, Darkrai, and Dragapult after a Swords Dance, giving Scizor good chances to sweep offensive teams. Close Combat slices through Steel-resistant Pokemon like Kingambit and Iron Treads and breaks through physical walls like Corviknight and Skarmory after a boost. Knock Off gives Scizor excellent coverage against Pokemon like Gholdengo and Skeledirge while crippling counters such as Alomomola, Moltres, and Dondozo. 212 Speed allows Scizor to outspeed Jolly Kingambit. Tera Fire allows Scizor to lure burn-spreading Pokemon like Moltres and Dragapult while also allowing it to live Fire-type attacks from Iron Moth, Cinderace, Gouging Fire. Scizor is at its best when combined with an entry hazard setter like Glimmora, Landorus-T, or Deoxys-S to chip foes into its KO range and other physical sweepers like Zamazenta, Kingambit, Roaring Moon, and Dragonite that appreciate Scizor overwhelming their shared answers.

Bullet Punch (technically it's not just BP but the combination alongside technician, so i'd just remove this and reword the sentence to be more general and then you can talk about BP + technician in the next sentence instead) continues to keep Scizor relevant in OU even after six generations as a potent offensive threat. (instead of going right away to BP, i think talking about its defensive utility into these threats is great too since it's one of sciz's selling points on HO. something like "scizor has recently risen to prominence as a potent offensive threat that not only check mons like val, kyurem, and enam defensively, but revenge kill them w the combo of technician + BP, which can also be used to KO pokemon like .... " or however wording you see fit) Bullet Punch can be used to revenge kill major offensive threats such as Iron Valiant, Kyurem, and Weavile while being able to KO Pokemon like Roaring Moon, Darkrai, and Dragapult after a Swords Dance, giving Scizor good chances to sweep offensive teams. Close Combat gives Scizor excellent coverage and serves as a secondary "STAB" move of sorts, ('secondary stab' might be a bit confusing) slicing through Steel resists like Kingambit, Heatran, (offtran will cook you before you can CC; maybe specify defensive) and Iron Treads while being able to break through physical walls like Corviknight and Skarmory after a Swords Dance boost.bKnock Off gives Scizor excellent coverage against Pokemon like Gholdengo, Iron Moth, (you'll die before you can use knock off against it + doesnt have the bulk to take on +2 bp or CC anyways post-tera. would replace this w skeledirge, especially since it's an annoying mon for HO to face) and Galarian Slowking (technically you dont need the dark coverage for it since it doesnt resist BP; if you want, you can be more specific and say something like 'potentially OHKOing' instead) while crippling counters such as Alomomola and Dondozo (moltres is a good target too tbh, but up to you) for the benefit of Scizor's offensive teammates. [What does the EVs do here] Tera Fire allows Scizor to lure burn spreading Pokemon like Moltres, Dragapult, and Cinderace (in a 1v1 situation, sciz would be more afraid of molt & ace's fire stab instead of their wisp; kept moltres mention cause of flame body) while also allowing it to live Fire-type attacks from Iron Moth, Cinderace, Gouging Fire, and Moltres. (3 examples + moltres was mentioned already) Scizor is at its best when combined with an entry hazard setter like Glimmora, Landorus-T, or Deoxys-S to make the most of its Knock Off and chip Pokemon into Bullet Punch its KO range and other physical sweepers like Zamazenta, Kingambit, Roaring Moon, and Dragonite that appreciate Scizor crippling overwhelming their shared answers with Knock Off (more generalized; since you can also force huge damage onto the steel birds and they dont really care about knock) and its potential to lure burn spreaders with Tera Fire. (prob too niche for spotlights and chances are you want to keep the tera for gambit, zama, and moon instead; i think talking about scizor switching into/revenge killing/setting up on mons like kyurem and the fairies for them is better since it's more specific to scizor's role, but character limit might make this an issue so can prob just ignore this part entirely)
looks like a lot but mostly just comments, good job. ping me once implemented and I'll GP (might end up cutting some info down since this is way over the limit already)

Scizor continues to be relevant in OU after 6 generations! with its excellent Steel and Bug-typing Technician boosted Bullet Punch. Its typing gives it a niche on hyper offense teams as HO teams as an offensive steel that lacks a fighting and ground weakness, making it an excellent check to Iron Valiant, Kyurem, and Enamorus. Moreover, Technician + Bullet Punch makes quick work of them can be used to revenge kill major offensive threats such as Iron Valiant, Kyurem, and Weavile while being able to KOing Pokemon like Roaring Moon, Darkrai, and Dragapult after a Swords Dance, giving Scizor good chances to sweep offensive teams. Tera Fire allows Scizor to lure burn-spreading (hyphen) Pokemon like Moltres, Dragapult. Moltres and Dragapult while also allowing it to live Fire-type attacks from Iron Moth, Cinderace, Gouging Fire. Scizor is at its best when combined with an entry hazard setter like Glimmora, Landorus-T, or Deoxys-S to make the most of its Knock Off and chip foes Pokemon into its KO range and other physical sweepers like Zamazenta, Kingambit, Roaring Moon, and Dragonite that appreciate Scizor overwhelming their shared answers.

Hi, I have just translated this into Spanish and I noticed there's a little mistake. 'Close Combat' lacks the 't' at the end, watch it out!
