Tyranitar finds a spot on Rock teams thanks to its incredible stat spread and invaluable ability, Sand Stream, to set up sand for its teammates. Heavy Slam allows Tyranitar to make use of its incredible weight to check Fairy-types like Flutter Mane and Hatterene. Low Kick handles Steel- and Dark-type targets such as Heatran, Kingambit, and Hydreigon. Knock Off allows Tyranitar to remove crucial items from physically bulky threats such as Archaludon, Toxapex, and Skarmory, along with threatening Ghost- and Psychic-types like Ceruledge and Espathra. The given EV Spread allows Tyranitar to outspeed Adamant Kingambit while maximizing its special bulk to survive two Moonblasts from Choice Scarf Flutter Mane.

Tyranitar greatly appreciates the support of Choice Scarf Iron Boulder, which can deal with Fighting-types such as Sneasler, Iron Valiant, and Breloom, along with handling faster threats like Ogerpon-H and Enamorus. Hisuian Arcanine handles Grass- and Steel-type threats such as Amoonguss, Scizor, and Corviknight. Ogerpon-C can check problematic Water- and Ground-types such as Keldeo, Swampert, and the Landorus formes while appreciating Tyranitar's sand to help it set up in front of special attackers like Hydrapple and Primarina. Glimmora provides support by removing entry hazards with Mortal Spin, along with being able to use a Choice Scarf to handle threats such as Iron Valiant with Sludge Wave and Great Tusk with Energy Ball. Rhyperior appreciates Tyranitar's sand patching up its Special Defense and allowing it to take hits such as Landorus's Earth Power; in return, Rhyperior leverages its bulk to remove threats like Skarmory, Gliscor, and Excadrill. Both Minior and Garganacl majorly appreciate Tyranitar setting up sand and Stealth Rock, providing them with safety as they set up. Choice Scarf Kleavor can provide support with Stone Axe freeing up Tyranitar to run a different utility option instead of Stealth Rock, and it is able to threaten Dark- and Grass-types such as Hoopa-U, Choice Band Meowscarada, and Ogerpon-W.

If Stealth Rock is covered by a different teammate, Tyranitar has a myriad of options such as Thunder Wave, Ice Punch, and Fire Blast to slow down opposing teams or lure in and weaken Gliscor or Skarmory. A specially attacking Tyranitar with Fire Blast, Earth Power, and Ice Beam can be viable, as it catches switch-ins and general nuisances to Rock teams like Skarmory, Archaludon, and Gliscor off-guard. However, Tyranitar has to then use a more offensive EV spread of 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe with a Mild or Modest nature, which lets Choice Specs Flutter Mane OHKO it with Moonblast. Alternatively, an EV spread for a specially attacking Tyranitar of 16 HP / 236 SpA / 92 SpD / 164 Spe lets it survive an attack from Choice Specs Flutter Mane while still outspeeding Kingambit, but this leaves it outsped and easily OHKOed by Archaludon's Body Press.

Low Kick handles Steel- and Dark-type targets such as Heatran, Kingambit, and Hydreigon. Knock Off allows for Tyranitar to remove Heavy-Duty Boots from the likes of Amoonguss (Amoon feels like a super targeted example, maybe just do it vs general walls like Archa/Skarm/Pex?) along with threatening Ghost- and Psychic-types like Ceruledge and Espathra. The Choosen chosen EV Spread allows for Tyranitar to outspeed Adamant Kingambit while maximizing its special bulk to survive two Moonblasts from Flutter Mane.

Tyranitar greatly appreciates the support of Choice Scarf Iron Boulder who can deal with Fighting-types such as Sneasler, Iron Valiant, and Breloom along with handling faster threats like the Ogerpon-H and Enamorus. Ogerpon-C can check problematic Water- and Ground-types such as Keldeo, Swampert, and the Landorus-formes while appreciating Tyranitar's Sand to help it setup in front of special attackers like Hydrapple and Primarina. Glimmora provides support by removing entry hazards with Mortal Spin along with threatening Fairy-types like (not really these fairies, maybe mention the Air Balloon/Scarf set which lets it murk Scarf Tusk / Iron Valiant respectively) Clefable and Galarian Weezing. Rhyperior appreciates Tyranitar's sand to help patch up its special defense allowing it to takes hits such as Landorus Earth pPower and in return Rhyperior leverages its bulk to remove threats like Skarmory, Gliscor, and Excadrill. Both Minior and Gargancal (this is mispelled, but I dont know how) majorly appreciate Tyranitar setting up sand and Stealth Rocks providing them safety as they setup.
*Kleavor can be nice
