Salamence soars into RU! In RU, Salamence uses its neglected Special Attack to be a formidable wallbreaker. Draco Meteor is Salamence's main attack, being able to dent many threats in RU for major damage, such as Hippowdon, Volcanion, and Rhyperior. Hurricane is able to hit Fairy-types such as Gardevoir and Fezandipiti for decent damage. Flamethrower is used to hit Steel-types like Bisharp, Revavroom, and Jirachi for super effective damage as well as being a more consistent damage option for Cobalion. Tera Steel gives Salamence a resistance to Rock, Fairy, and Dragon, which is vital in matchups against Rhyperior, Fezandipiti, and Cyclizar. Salamence often struggles with special walls such as Fezandipiti and Empoleon as well as faster threats such as Terrakion and Lycanroc-D, so teammates such as Hippowdon, Jirachi, and Barraskewda can all help to deal with them.

Salamence soars into RU! In RU, Salamence uses its neglected 110 Special Attack to be a Special Attacking potent or similar adjective wallbreaker. Draco Meteor is Salamence's main attack, being able to 2HKO many threats in RU, such as Hippowdon, Volcanion, and Rhyperior Hippo and Rhyp aren't actually 2HKOed from full due to the SpA drop, either rephrase or use other examples. Hurricane is able to hit Fairy-types such as Gardevoir and Fezandipiti for decent damage. Flamethrower is used to hit Steel-types like Bisharp, Revaroom Revavroom, and Jirachi for super- effective damage as well as being a more consistent damage option for Cobalion. Tera Steel gives Salamence a resistance to Rock, Fairy, (AC) and Dragon, which is vital in matchups against Fezandipiti, Rhyperior, and Cyclizar.
