Being an avid player and kinda-TL of ADV RU, I acknowledge since ADV is a very new format the playerbase isn't too widely known. I want to make a big post on some notable players in the ADV RU scene to help RUGL managers know the pool better when the draft happens. They are players that have had good results/history with the tier and should be considered for draft.

SpoiledBerries

Notable Results: Winner of ADV RU + Jumpluff Tour

With one of the most recent results to her name, SpoiledBerries has joined the ADV RU scene at the beginning of the year when ADV RU had a ladder. After signing up for the Jumpluff Tour, she grew more fond of the tier and started steamrolling her way to a tournament win! Her momentum is heavy and is absolutely worth considering for draft.

Queen Of Bean

Notable Results: Grand Finals of ADV RU Kickoff Tour, 4-1 record in ADV RU ROA Spotlight, Losers Finals in ADV RU + Jumpluff Tour

Queen of Bean started ADV RU in the kickoff tour, becoming council after making grand finals vs Feliburn, one of the most watched sets in ADV RU history. Since then. QOB helped develop this tier in numerous ways, contributing to resources and shaping the meta as we know it. If you see a Golbat, that's QOB's doing. Her uniqueness and talent makes her a very good consideration for draft.

Tack

Notable Results: Semifinals of ADV RU Kickoff Tour, 3-2 record in ADV RU ROA Spotlight, Top 6 in ADV RU + Jumpluff Tour

Similar to QOB, Tack started playing ADV RU in the kickoff tour and became very versed in the tier early on, eventually becoming council and contributing to the tier's resources. Their builds are on the very creative side and that unpredictability makes them very influential to the tier and one of ADV RU's best players with nothing but good records.

Cbass97

Notable Results: Winner of ADV RU ROA Spotlight, Top 6 in ADV RU + Jumpluff Tour

Cbass97 started ADV RU at the beginning of the year and regularly played ADV RU's ladder, eventually becoming the grand winner of the ADV RU ROA Spotlight tour in a round robin finals!!! Their success only continues to grow with the good showing in the Jumpluff tour.

bydy

Notable Results: Grand Finals of ADV RU + Jumpluff Tour

bydy has recently had great success with the Jumpluff Tour, making Grand Finals from Winners side and having wins against notable players. Even in a Pluffless meta, bydy has great fundamentals with the tier and isn't afraid of getting creative.

MachJacob

Notable Results: Finals of ADV RU Kickoff Tour

MachJacob is an RU mainer that made his mark in ADV RU's kickoff tour, and continues to participate in tournaments to this day. MachJacob's experience with RU as a whole makes him excellent support in an RU cross-gen team tour, and knowing ADV of all RU old gens is the cherry on top.

Honorable Mentions:

Nugget O Silver - Dedicated ADV main and influencer; made Top 4 in ADV RU + Jumpluff Tour.
BigFatMantis - One of the cofounders of this tier and helped us kickstart our first tour, made Top 12 in ADV RU + Jumpluff tour.
plznostep - Made stall usable with the advent of Shuckle, active participant in all current tours with a 3-2 record in ADV RU ROA Spotlight.
Oathkeeper - ADV NU veteran making his name in RU's footing; made semifinals in ADV RU Kickoff Tour, Top 12 in ADV RU + Jumpluff Tour, and has a 4-1 record in ADV RU ROA Spotlight.

I think I will abstain from signing up as I will be busy with my personal life and I want to give these players I mentioned, as well as everyone else who signed up for ADV, a solid shot to introduce ADV RU to the wider RU playerbase. This tier is very fun and I hope that RUGL is a successful tournament for everyone involved!

Jokes aside, we will be taking tryouts in pretty much every gen, you can message us on PS as "Astreau" and "PepeDuce" whenever you see us online on the RU room. As of Pepe, you can also reach out to him on Discord (pepeduce). As of me, you can message me through Smogon but I'll highly prefer playing games cuz I don't really like reading resumes ngl, except if you signed up in SS/SM.

I am especially looking for ADV builders and BW players, so if you're in that case, feel free to message me in here.

Wanted to write something for the Managers with regards to the SV pool - I'll do two categories and list people in alphabetical order, with maybe a brief description where fit. If I don't list somebody, it's not an indictment of their skill to me, just a lack of familiarity with them :D

Big Names:​
Arakd’eau ㋛ - Arak is one of my favorite French players in RU, always loads fun teams and plays at a high level.
Drud - Very solid player who can pilot all kinds of structures. Not sure how much they build in this meta but a starter-caliber player.
hi.naming is hard - RULT Runner-Up who doesn't main the tier but demonstrated plenty of talent during their run.
HoopsspooH - I like Hoops a lot, they build all kinds of fun teams and play consistently well. Played well in RULT.
LBN - Not sure if they're wanting to slot in SV or other tiers but they're a solid pick regardless, can help with old gens.
MachJacob - Recently promoted to RU Room Voice, supporter of Bellibolt and generally good player and builder. Will help in older gens and seems like a great team presence.
Ming549 - Recently promoted to RU Room Voice, very active in the community and is a strong player and builder. Will be an SV1 for somebody no doubt. Will also namedrop you on RU's YouTube if you draft him.
RyuSnowシ - Ryu bounces between a lot of tiers but is consistently good as a builder and pilot, as well as being a good presence for a team. Should start somewhere.
THE_CHUNGLER - Inarguably one of the best players in the entire draft, will be SV1 and maybe the highest cost SV player around. Builds all kinds of teams.
toinha - Another strong Brazil player, has been a great teammate in RUPL for the Hustlers and should definitely find a starting role somewhere.
TomatoZause - A fellow Discord yapper, despite his funny demeanor he's a solid player and will slot into a starting role comfortably. Will try to load Kilowattrel stall but I'd give him a chance anyway.
TyCarter - Strong player who will start somewhere. Not sure how much they build but they'll play well with any team.

Not to go too in depth here, but the above are people I'd vouch for. Some of them are more active in RU than others but they all have the requisite skill to build and play SV. I also like that many of the people listed here are active in the RU Discord and/or in the RU Room, including some people who main other tiers but enjoy what this tier has to offer.

I look forward to winning it all having a good season and hopefully seeing lots of innovation. I think this tour is going to be great for the community and I like that we've included ADV over Bo3 - look at all the interest there! Good luck to all and I hope to see you in lineups at some point this season. Post inspired by the GOAT EllingtonReborn .

#1 Queen of Bean - Team Liquidation

Queen of Bean has been excelling in ADV RU since its inception, placing very high in every ADV RU tournament and having a deep understanding of the tier. QoB’s confidence in building on top of good team support with TyCarter Oathkeeper and DiannieRatson in the wings give her an edge in prep, shining over the rest of the competition in a well-deserved top spot.

#2 SEA - The Snow Warners

SEA is an avid ADV main that has success in many different ADV tiers such as OU, Ubers, NU, and ZU. SEA’s new destination is here in RU, eager to earn another couple wins under her belt. Even though SEA has no prior experience playing in RU, her amazing playing ability and creative adaptation with ADV lower tiers give her a quite high placing under Queen of Bean.

#3 SpoiledBerries - The Regenehaters

Coming fresh off of a tournament win from the ADV RU + Jumpluff Tournament, SpoiledBerries lands at #3 in the power rankings. She has great self-sufficiency and vigor in playing the tier, skilled in the tier’s lines and intricacies. Despite her lack in past general team tour experience compared to the other players, SpoiledBerries can put up good results to dispute her contentious 3K price.

#4 BigFatMantis - Fullmetal Alcremies

BigFatMantis paved the way towards ADV RU being in a team tour, aiming for another solid record on top of his established placings in all past tours. BigFatMantis lacks the “wow factor” in terms of prior results, but excels more in innovative teambuilding and a wide myriad of tour experience, allowing for easy adaptation and keeping the rest of the pool on their toes, putting him in the middle of the pack at a modest #4 placing.

#5 Cbass97 - Sassy Stantlers

Starting the second half of the pool we have Cbass, a player with a good amount of experience in the tier coming off of a Spotlight win and getting top 6 in the Jumpluff Tournament. Despite the tier playtime he acquired during individual tournaments he has yet to prove himself in the team tour environment, although the odds look to be in his favor given the massive amount of support in the team from LpZ, Tack, and Sneakyplanner.

#6 avarice - Mashallah Mausholds

Avarice is another tournament player looking to debut in the tier. Being known as a strong versatile player, despite not being as accomplished in ADV tiers as SEA, he is still a force to be reckoned with, having played ADV tiers before to good results, including his current showing in ADVPL slotted in UU. The lower rank represents more of a great amount of experience in the tier by the players above but he does have potential support from plznostep and has tools to make an outstanding performance.

#7 Medeia - The Canadiancies

Coming at #7 we have Medeia, another versatile player that did play the tier on the tier’s debut tournament. It is uncertain that the experience from that tournament can be translated here mainly due to many meta changes but Medeia is a player capable enough to pilot to good success, the big question lies on whether she is gonna have support to go through a good pool like this. Her team got names with previous ADV RU experience like EviGaro and feen but we are gonna see if they have what it takes to keep up with the rest of the players.

#8 zS - Fino Fennekins

A bitter taste of a last player on many people’s eyes but someone needs to go last, zS is another tournament player looking forward to debut in the tier, another very versatile player that also enjoys exploring new tiers and new techs. As good of a player he is, a new player in the tier in a team that doesn’t seem to have any other player with experience is a tough scenario to analyze, but it is not the end of the world as his enthusiasm to prep and a potential help from innovamania can solve it. Despite being ranked last, zS, as anyone, has good chances to take over the pool for this tour.

As it has come to an end and I don't wanna do it on the finals thread, I'll take this opportunity to thank the hosts for both hosting this tour and trusting me on the manager spot. Despite it having been very exhausting and mentally longer to go through than I thought it would be, I'm still glad to have been able to manage an RU tour on Smogon, which is something that I had wanted to do for long now. Brilliant tour, great overall level, super healthy atmosphere, I'm finna ask for Chinese citizenship after Gew went 6-1, this is just all a recipe for hope.
I've been around for something like 3 years and a half on the RU community, and what I can say is that the activity, the hype and all this entertainment that the guys out there have brought to a tour like that is something I have never seen before, esp since I pictured it to be active for 2 or 3 weeks and then falling into the abyss. Blessings upon everyone who made it possible, kinda heartwarming to see this when I know that most of the RU tours I got involved in back then were never really as active nor hyped up as the ones we're having this year.

The community just seems to keep going on the right path (at least I hope so) and I can simply wish y'all the best in the upcoming mons stuff cuz what I see is very encouraging, cya around.
