[OVERVIEW]

Roserade is a potent entry hazard setter in the tier due to Spikes and the ability to punish switch-ins such as Salamence, Aegislash, and Jirachi with Sleep Powder. Its solid STAB moves in Leaf Storm and Sludge Bomb allow it to hit a plethora of staples such as Rhyperior, Primarina, and Tangrowth super effectively while also threatening others with Sludge Bomb poisons. Its typing lets Roserade check key Pokemon such as Rotom-W, Primarina, and Amoonguss. Roserade's Defense and Speed leave much to be desired, though, making it easy to revenge kill by many offensive Pokemon such as Krookodile, Lycanroc-D, and Salamence. It is also unable to touch Steel-types such as Celesteela, Jirachi, and Aegislash, barring Sleep Powder. Roserade faces competition with other Grass-types such as Amoonguss and Tangrowth, which offer better defensive utility against threats like Keldeo, Azumarill, and Krookodile but lack Spikes and are passive, and offense threats like Zarude, Nihilego, and Nidoking, which are more threatening due to better coverage and Speed.

[SET COMMENTS]

Leaf Storm's high Base Power is preferred, but Giga Drain is an option to provide recovery and make it easier to forgo Synthesis. Sludge Bomb hits Grass-resistant Pokemon like Zarude, Moltres, and Amoonguss while also threatening to poison foes like Mantine and Rotom-H. Roserade is excellent at setting Spikes due to its tendency to force switches. Sleep Powder is preferred to cripple switch-ins such as Aegislash and Galarian Slowbro, although Synthesis can be used to better check threats such as Primarina, Amoonguss, and Tangrowth and more comfortably set Spikes on walls such as Chansey and Mantine. Black Sludge helps Roserade better check Primarina and Rotom-W while also allowing it to passively heal up residual damage.

Roserade's ability to set up Spikes makes it an excellent partner for powerful wallbreakers such as Keldeo, Lycanroc-D, Salamence, and Gyarados. Krookodile and Nihilego can form an entry hazard stacking core with Roserade, Stealth Rock. Krookodile also enjoys switching into a slept Aegislash without getting punished by Toxic, while Nihilego is able to threaten Fire-types like Moltres and Rotom-H. They also remove items like Eviolite on Chansey and Leftovers on Aegislash with Knock Off, letting Roserade wear them down more easily. Due to its weakness to foes like Moltres and Mamoswine, Roserade appreciates Water-types such as Rotom-W, Keldeo, and Primarina; in return, Roserade resists Grass- and Electric-type moves for them. Steel-types such as Jirachi, Celesteela, and Aegislash also make for stellar teammates, as they resist Flying- and Psychic-type attacks that Roserade struggles with. Pokemon such as Moltres, Nidoking, and Buzzwole threaten Steel-types that Roserades struggle with. Entry hazard removers such as Starmie, Rotom-W, and Salamence allow Roserade to stay healthy throughout longer games, although Defoggers like the latter two also remove its Spikes. Faster Pokemon such as Noivern, Mienshao, and Zygarde-10% threaten problematic foes such as Zarude, Krookodile, and Salamence and benefit from Spikes wearing down their checks.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Life Orb makes Roserade a greater offensive threat and lets it OHKO threats such as Buzzwole and Necrozma with entry hazard support; this does, however, severely worsen its longevity. A more specially defensive spread can be used to better check foes such as Keldeo, Raikou, and Primarina, but this makes Roserade less offensively threatening. Toxic Spikes aids wallbreakers such as Keldeo and Zygarde-10% in breaking down checks like Tangrowth, Primarina, and Buzzwole and generally annoys the opposing team, but Spikes is usually better due to the abundance of Poison-immune Pokemon and Poison-types.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Steel-types**: Roserade cannot touch Aegislash, Celesteela, and Jirachi, aside from an inaccurate Sleep Powder, and gives them a free switch or opportunity to set up.

**Fire-types**: Entei, Rotom-H, and Moltres threaten to OHKO Roserade with powerful Fire-type moves and force it out; however, they do not appreciate switching in on Sludge Bomb.

**Psychic-types**: Galarian Slowbro, Reuniclus, and Azelf are able to threaten Roserade with their STAB moves and force it out or set up on it. The former two can easily sponge Roserade's attacks, only fearing Sleep Powder. Azelf cannot switch into Roserade directly, but it can outspeed and force it out.

**Faster Threats and Priority**: Zarude, Salamence, Lycanroc-D, and Krookodile outspeed Roserade and threaten to deal heavy damage to it. Slower Pokemon with priority such as Mamoswine and Diggersby are also able to threaten Roserade.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Umbreon, Galarian Moltres, and Chansey can switch into Roserade, with Chansey also not fearing status due to Natural Cure. Mantine is notable, as it tanks Leaf Storm and removes Spikes with Defog.

A lot of the information provided is vague and more info should be added to them. I get this is a lot, so just add whatever ones you feel most confident in implementing.
[OVERVIEW]

-Roserade serves as a potent offensive Spikes user in the tier due to its access to Sleep Powder allowing it to remove (finish this)
-Its solid STAB moves in Leaf Storm and Sludge Bomb allow it to be an offensive threat while also threatening to poison the opponent (I think it's really important to note that this alongside Roserade's better offensive stats are what help it set it apart from its grass-type competition, especially Amoonguss)
-Its typing lets Roserade check many key Pokemon in the metagame defensively such as Keldeo, Azumarill, Primarina, and Amoonguss (problem with those two is that Keldeo and Azumarill are mons roserade should not be switching into freely because specs hydro pump 2hkoes and Azumarill has knock off and does big damage even with its stabs)

  • It's important to note for a Pokemon lower on the vr like Roserade, you should also focus more on also giving reasons about why it's not used as much as its competition. Some notable faults are Roserade's poor HP and Defense stats, which means it shouldnt be used as a defensive pivot in most cases unlike Amoonguss, who shares the same typing. The low HP stat also means that despite having a respectable special defense, it can't be a keldeo answer because sacred sword and hydro pump still 2hko it. That below average speed stat means roserade can be easily picked off by threats like krookodile, Jirachi, and Salamence.

[SET COMMENTS]

-Through use of Spikes, Roserade pressures and wears down opposing teams throughout games. (okay but what does it setup on, and what mons dislike the presence of spikes?)
-Sludge Bomb and Leaf Storm are the preferred STAB move options as Sludge Bombs chance to poison the opponent is incredibly threatening (you are right abut the sludge bomb poisons but a big part of it is that sludge bomb also deals considerable damage to mence and moltres switchins), meanwhile Leaf Storm hits significantly harder than any other option,. Giga Drain is an alternative option for a Grass-type move as it does recover some health, however the damage loss from not using Giga Drain isn't usually worth it. (I agree with leaf storm over giga, but you should note the mons you struggle more with by going giga. Not KOing Nidoking and Tentacruel from higher health are decent examples to start with)
-Sleep Powder is the preferred fourth move option as it can temporarily disarm an opposing Pokemon (specify what switchins are being neutered by Sleep Powder. Aegislash and Galarian Slowbro are both fine examples), though Synthesis can also be used to improve Roserades longevity, while making it more passive. (again, Synthesis is what helps keep Roserade from being outlasted by Amoonguss and Tangrowth long term and helps roserade setup more spikes against opponents like Chansey and RestTalk Primarina) Stun Spore is also an option but is generally not as good as Sleep Powder. (it isnt, but you can say it cripples mence and Jirachi's and leaves them more vulnerable to an offensive teammate like Azumarill)

-Roserades ability to set up Spikes makes it an excellent partner for powerful breakers such as Keldeo, Lycanroc-D, Primarina (offensive primaries has seen some better days, it's more reliable as a pivot), Salamence, and Gyarados, as they appreciate the extra chip the hazards deal.
-It also appreciates being paired up with Knock Off users, such as Thundurus, Krookodile, Mienshao, and Mamoswine, as they are able to knock off opposing Pokemons heavy-duty boots Heavy-Duty Boots so that Roserades spikes are more effective. (They do more than just remove heavy duty boots, they also remove leftovers recovery from threats such as Celesteela and Amoonguss)
-Due to its weakness to Fire- and Ice-types, Roserade appriciates being paired with Water-types that can resist their attacks, such as Rotom-W, Keldeo, and Primarina, meanwhile Roserade resists Grass- and Electric-type moves for them.
-Steel-types such as Jirachi, Celesteela, Aegislash, and Cobalion (cobalion resists neither) also make for stellar teammates as they resist Flying- and Psychic-type attacks that Roserade struggles with.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

-A more specially defensive spread can be used to better check the likes of Keldeo, Rotom-W, Raikou, and Primaina, but this makes Roserade less effective at setting up its Spikes and threatening the opponent.
-It can also run Toxic Spikes over Spikes, to aid bulky set up sweepers such as Reuniclus, Suicune, or Slowbro-G breakdown their checks, however, Spikes tend to be more consistently useful. (It's also inconsistent against teams that run Poison-types like Nihilego and Galarian Slowbro)

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physical Attackers**: Due to Roserades low physical defense, many physical attackers such as Krookodile, Lycanroc-D, Zarude, Zygarde-10, and Choice Scarf Diggersby (important to distinguish because Rose is naturally faster than it), are able to OHKO or 2HKO Roserade and as such force it out

**Super Effective Coverage**: Super Effective attacks from the likes of Salamence, Moltres, Jirachi, Rotom-H, Entei, and Mamoswine are able to OHKO Roserade due to its relatively poor defenses. Even supereffective coverage moves from the likes of Keledo, Thundurus, Primarina, and Barraskewda also threaten Roserade immensely. (okay, you're gonna have to break this up into multiple sections. Fire-types and Fire-type coverage is fine but balling all super effective coverage into one isnt a good idea)

Mention the Steel-types because Roserade usually cant do meaningful damage to them outside of Sleep Powder and Spikes Damage.

Specially defensive threats because Chansey and Assault Vest Galarian Slowbro sort of sit on you

[OVERVIEW]

-Roserade serves as a potent offensive Spikes user in the tier due to its access to Sleep Powder allowing it to remove ??? you didn't finish lol. This main point should be about its access to the rare spikes as well as ability to punish common entry hazard removal like Rotom-H and Salamence between sleep and poison
-Its solid STAB moves in Leaf Storm and Sludge Bomb allow it to be an offensive threat while also threatening to poison the opponent. add specific examples of what it threatens. For example, it could be "Solid STAB options in Leaf Storm and Sludge Bomb allow Roserade to threaten tier staples like Rhyperior, Primarina, and Tangrowth.
-Its typing lets Roserade check many key Pokemon in the metagame defensively such as Raikou, Keldeo, Azumaril, Primarina, and Amoonguss. (Keldeo 2HKOs roserade with either STAB so its not going to want to switch in. Same with Azu, who can pick it off with aqua jet if it switches into a main attack)

this op is incomplete, these points listed aren't fleshed out and you fail to go into depth about roserade's cons. Stuff you missed includes what is listed below. Make sure to implement these points

-roserades poor physical defense and lackluster speed tier letting it be threatened by top threats like Lycanroc-D and Thundurus

-inability to touch common Steel-types like Aegislash and Jirachi barring sleep powder
-the competition it faces from Amoonguss and Tangrowth on teams as a Grass-type due to them actually providing defensive utility against Keldeo

Stun Spore is also an option but is generally not as good as Sleep Powder. (not worth it, sleep power cripples steel-types enough so stun spore is inferior)

-Roserades ability to set up Spikes makes it an excellent partner for powerful breakers such as Keldeo, Lycanroc-D, Primarina, Salamence, and Gyarados, as they appreciate the extra chip the hazards deal. way to many examples right here, cut them down and elaborate on how roserade benefits from them. For example, Salamence can help act as a secondary check to zarude and keldeo for roserade, keldeo can KO fire-types and power through aegislash for it, Lycanroc-D can beat Galarian Moltres and Thundurus for it.
-It also appreciates being paired up with Knock Off users, such as Thundurus, Krookodile, Mienshao, and Mamoswine, as they are able to knock off opposing Pokemons heavy-duty boots so that Roserades spikes are more effective. give specific examples of Pokemon that can get their boots knocked off by these threats, also too many examples again so cut it down

this section feels really off. Most of these Pokemon's checks don't even mind t spikes. Aegislash, Galarian Moltres, Amoonguss, and Zarude all don't care for t spikes. I'd rather have you mention wallbreakers like Keldeo since its checks (AV tang and primarina) actually hate toxic spikes. Also, elaborate on why spikes are more useful, as t spikes are generally ineffective in the meta with the popularity of threats like aegislash, amoonguss, and Nihilego who just don't give a shit about them.

you missed some teammates from the last check. Please talk about the following teammates

-add the life orb option I said to do from the last check
-A more specially defensive spread can be used to better check the likes of Keldeo, Raikou, and Primarina but this makes Roserade less effective at setting up its Spikes and threatening the opponent.
-It can also run Toxic Spikes over Spikes, to aid wallbreakers such as Keldeo or Zygarde-10 break down their checks like Tangrowth, Primarina, or Buzzwole, as well as generally annoying the opposing team, but Toxic Spikes are way less useful than Spikes, as many tier staples such as Aegislash, Amoonguss, and Nihilego dont care for Toxic Spikes at all, while they are seriously hurt by Spikes.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physical Attackers**: Due to Roserades low physical defense, many physical attackers such as Krookodile, Lycanroc-D, Zarude, Zygarde-10, and Diggersby, are able to OHKO or 2HKO Roserade and as such force it out see below with faster threats

**Steel-types**: Roserade is unable to touch Aegislash, Celesteela, and Jirachi, and as such it allows them a free switch in or acts as set up fodder, it can catch them on the switch with Sleep Powder, but this doesn't work if its already slept a Pokemon.

**Fire-types**: Entei, Rotom-H, and Moltres are able to force out Roserade as they threaten to OHKO it with powerful Fire-type moves, however, they do not appreciate switching in on a Sludge Bomb.

**Psychic-types**: Galarian Slowbro, Reuniclus, and Azelf are able to threaten Roserade with their STAB moves and force it out or set up on it, and there isn't much Roserade can do against them if it cant use Sleep Powder due to another Pokemon already sleeping. The former two can easily sponge off Roserade's attacks and Roserade can only try to cripple them with Sleep Powder.

**Faster threats**: Noivern, Thundurus, and Starmie naturally outspeed Roserade and threaten it with their coverage moves, meanwhile Choice Scarfers like Diggersby are able to outspeed it and KO it with powerful neutral hits. Combine this point with the physical attackers point and replace some of the mentions here with the attackers. An example is "Pokemon like Salamence, Thundurus, Krookodile, and Lycanroc-D can all outspeed and deal heavy damage to Roserade."

[OVERVIEW]

-Roserade serves as a potent hazard setter in the tier due to its access to the rare Spikes and ability to punish common removal such as Salamence or Rotom-H through Sleep Powder or Sludge Bomb Instead of this I'd say that it can punish switch-ins with Sleep Powder. You can still cite Salamence as an example here and maybe even note that its an entry hazard remover if your wording doesn't become too clunky.
-Its solid STAB moves in Leaf Storm and Sludge Bomb allow it to hit a plethora of staples super effectively such as Rhyperior, Primarina, and Tangrowth while also threatening with Sludge Bomb poisons.
I'd add a line here that states that these traits allow Roserade to consistently make progress with each free turn it grabs in matches.
-Its typing lets Roserade check many key Pokemon in the metagame defensively such as Raikou this example is probably best to replace with something like Rotom-W, Primarina, and Amoonguss.
-Roserades physical Defense and Speed stats leave much to be desired, making it easy to pick up by many offensive pokemon such as Krookodile, Lycanroc-D, or Thundurus.
-Roserade is also unable to touch many of the tiers Steel-types such as Celesteela, Cobalion replace Cobalion with Jirachi here, as the latter is far more relevant in the tier, and Aegislash, barring Sleep Powder.
-It faces alot of competition against other Grass-types in the tier, notably Amoonguss and Tangrowth, which are a lot sturdier defensively against the likes of Keldeo, Azumaril, or Krookodile, but they are both far more passive then Roserade and also lack the ability to set up Spikes, giving Roserade a niche.
I'd add a point here about the competition it faces from other offensive Pokemon like Nihilego/Nidoking/Zarude that give it competition for a typing slot and can provide more with their better offensive presences.

-Through use of Spikes, Roserade pressures and wears down opposing teams throughout games. Roserade also punishes common hazard control such as Rotom-H, Salamence, Rotom-W, and Hatterene between its access to Sleep Powder and threatening Sludge Bomb Poisoning. This sentence should only focus on Spikes. Instead of what you have, say something (in your own words) along the lines of Spikes being a move that Roserade can use as it forces switches to wear opposing teams down.
-Sludge Bomb and Leaf Storm are the preferred STAB move options as Sludge Bombs chance to poison the opponent is incredibly threatening, meanwhile Leaf Storm hits significantly harder than any other option, These moves both need to be put into separate sentences. Leaf Storm's reasoning as being Roserade's most powerful option is fine, but Sludge Bomb's ability to hit various Grass-resists hard, like Moltres and Zarude, should be noted in addition to its poison chance. Giga Drain is an alternative option for a Grass-type move as it does recover some health, however the damage loss from not using Giga Drain this part of your sentence is fluff and can be removed isn't usually worth it.
-Sleep Powder is the preferred fourth move option as it can temporarily disarm an opposing Pokemon Roserade would otherwise struggle against, such as Aegislash or Galarian Slowbro, though Synthesis can also be used to improve Roserades longevity, allowing it to better check threats such as Zarude replace Zarude with Primarina here, Amoonguss, and Tangrowth replace Tangrowth with Rotom-W here while allowing it to set up Spikes on more defensive pokemon such as Chansey or Gastrodon Gastrodon can do a number against Roserade with Earthquake, so use Mantine (which doesn't often run Flying-type STAB) as an example instead more comfortably, but the opportunity cost of not running Sleep Powder really stings in most matchups.. this part of the sentence is unneeded and can be removed
-Black Sludge is the preferred item as the extra longevity it provides can go a long way in checking the likes of Primarina or Rotom-W, while also allowing Roserade to passively heal up hazard chip.

-Roserades ability to set up Spikes makes it an excellent partner for powerful breakers such as Keldeo, Lycanroc-D, Salamence, and Gyarados, as they appreciate the extra chip the hazards deal, it especially appreciates Keldeos ability to threaten Fire-types such as Rotom-H or Entei, Lycanroc-D checking Moltres and Thunudurs, and Salamence helping check the likes of Zarude and Keldeo. This part of your sentence is fluff and can be removed
-Krookodile and Nihilego can form an entry hazard stacking core with Roserade, pairing up its Spikes with Stealth Rocks, Krookodile is also able to switch into Aegislash meanwhile Nihilego is able to threaten Fire-types like Roserade Roserade isn't a Fire-type so use something like Moltres as an example instead or Rotom-H. They are also able to Knock Off items like Eviolite on Chansey or Leftovers from Celesteela so Roserade wears them down easier.
-Due to its weakness to Fire- and Ice-types, Roserade appreciates being paired with Water-types that can resist their attacks, such as Rotom-W, Keldeo, and Primarina, meanwhile Roserade resists Grass- and Electric-type moves for them.
-Steel-types such as Jirachi, Celesteela, and Aegislash also make for stellar teammates as they resist Flying- and Psychic-type attacks that Roserade struggles with.
-Due to Roserades struggles with Steel-types, it appiciates pairing it up with the likes of Moltres, Nidoking, and Buzzwole, which are able to threaten Steel-types

===================

**Steel-types**: Roserade is unable to touch Aegislash, Celesteela, and Jirachi, and as such it allows them a free switch in or acts as set up fodder, it can catch them on the switch with Sleep Powder, but this doesn't work if its already slept a Pokemon. instead of this, I'd say that the move's iffy accuracy can still allow the listed examples to punish Roserade

**Fire-types**: Entei, Rotom-H, and Moltres are able to force out Roserade as they threaten to OHKO it with powerful Fire-type moves, however, they do not appreciate switching in on a Sludge Bomb.

**Psychic-types**: Galarian Slowbro, Reuniclus, and Azelf are able to threaten Roserade with their STAB moves and force it out, or set up on it, The former two can easily sponge off Roserade's attacks and Roserade can only try to cripple them with Sleep Powder. Add here that while Azelf cannot switch in directly, it can outspeed and offensively threaten Roserade.

**Faster threats and Priority**: Thundurus, Salamence, Lycanroc-D, and Krookodile all naturally outspeed Roserade and threaten to deal heavy damage to Roserade. Meanwhile, Choice Scarfers like Diggersby are able to outspeed it and KO it with powerful neutral hits There really aren't many choice scarfers that don't outspeed Roserade already without a scarf, so instead of what you have mention priority users like Mamoswine and Diggersby that can threaten it.

I think a point on specially Defensive Pokemon should be here. Note Chansey specifically, as it can shrug off Roserade's attacks while also restoring status it's inflicted with thanks to Natural Cure. Mantine is also worth noting as it can take a Leaf Storm from full and use Defog to remove Roserade's Spikes. Galarian Moltres and Umbreon should be examples as well.

-Roserade serves as a potent hazard setter in the tier due to its access to the rare Spikes and ability to punish switch-ins such as Salamence, Aegislash, and Rotom-H use Jirachi over Rotom-H here considering Rotom can usually only pivot in once with Sleep Powder.
-Its solid STAB moves in Leaf Storm and Sludge Bomb allow it to hit a plethora of staples super effectively such as Rhyperior, Primarina, and Tangrowth while also threatening with Sludge Bomb poisons.
-These traits allow for Roserade to consistently make progress whenever it grabs a free turn.
-Its typing lets Roserade check many key Pokemon in the metagame defensively such as Rotom-W, Primarina, and Amoonguss.
-Roserades physical Defense and Speed stats leave much to be desired, making it easy to pick up by many offensive pokemon such as Krookodile, Lycanroc-D, or Thundurus.
-Roserade is also unable to touch many of the tiers Steel-types such as Celesteela, Jirachi, and Aegislash, barring Sleep Powder.
-As an offensive presence it faces competition from other pokemon it shares typings with, such as Zarude, Nihilego, and Nidoking, which tend to be more threatening offensively clarify here that this is thanks to either better Speed tiers or coverage.

- Leaf Storm is the preferred Grass-type move, as it is incredibly powerful, albeit it lowers Roserades Special Attack, which doesn't make it as spammable. Giga Drain is another option that, while significantly weaker, lets Roserade regain its health.

-Through use of Spikes, Roserade is able to wear down the opposing teams throughout games, Roserade is excellent at laying up Spikes due to its tendency to force switches.
-Sleep Powder is the preferred fourth move option as it can temporarily disarm an opposing Pokemon Roserade would otherwise struggle against, such as Aegislash or Galarian Slowbro, though Synthesis can also be used to improve Roserades longevity, allowing it to better check threats such as Primarina, Amoonguss, and Tangrowth while allowing it to set up Spikes on more defensive pokemon such as Chansey or Mantine more comfortably.
-Black Sludge is the preferred item as the extra longevity it provides can go a long way in checking the likes of Primarina or Rotom-W, while also allowing Roserade to passively heal up hazard chip.

-Roserades ability to set up Spikes makes it an excellent partner for powerful breakers such as Keldeo, Lycanroc-D, Salamence, and Gyarados, as they appreciate the extra chip the hazards deal.

[SET COMMENTS]

Leaf Storm is the preferred Grass-type move, as it is incredibly powerful, albeit it lowers Roserades Special Attack, which doesn't make it as spammable. Think you can rearrange this sentence for better flow -- "Leaf Storm's high base power makes it the preferred Grass-type move for this set, but its effect lowering Roserade's special attack makes it less spammable." or something similar. Giga Drain is another option that, while significantly weaker, lets Roserade regain its health. Might be worth mentioning that Giga Drain frees up running Sleep Powder over Synth more, while Synthesis sets should always run Leaf Storm imo. Sludge Bomb is able to hit Pokemon that resist its Grass-type attacks, like Zarude, Moltres, and Amoonguss, while also Threatening to poison the likes of Mantine and Rotom-H. Through use of Spikes, Roserade is able to wear down the opposing teams throughout games, Roserade is excellent at laying up Spikes due to its tendency to force switches. Sleep Powder is the preferred fourth move option as it can temporarily disarm an opposing Pokemon Roserade would otherwise struggle against, such as Aegislash or Galarian Slowbro, though Synthesis can also be used to improve Roserades longevity, allowing it to better check threats such as Primarina, Amoonguss, and Tangrowth while allowing it to set up Spikes on more defensive pokemon such as Chansey or Mantine more comfortably. Roserades ability to set up Spikes makes it an excellent partner for powerful breakers such as Keldeo, Lycanroc-D, Salamence, and Gyarados, as they appreciate the extra chip the hazards deal. Krookodile and Nihilego can form an entry hazard stacking core with Roserade, pairing up its Spikes with Stealth Rocks, Krookodile is also able to switch into Aegislash meanwhile Nihilego is able to threaten Fire-types like Moltres or Rotom-H I think the aegislash - krook thing can be explained better -- this pairing is great bc Roserade can sleep Aegi but not damage it, and Krook can offensively pressure Aegi but doesn't want to switch in on a toxic (which sleep helps ensure). They are also able to Knock Off items like Eviolite on Chansey or Leftovers from Celesteela so Roserade wears them down easier Rose is never wearing down celesteela with a grass move lefties or no lefties. something like aegislash might fit better. Due to its weakness to Fire- and Ice-types, Roserade appreciates being paired with Water-types that can resist their attacks, such as Rotom-W, Keldeo, and Primarina, meanwhile Roserade resists Grass- and Electric-type moves for them. Steel-types such as Jirachi, Celesteela, and Aegislash also make for stellar teammates as they resist Flying- and Psychic-type attacks that Roserade struggles with. Due to Roserades struggles with Steel-types, it appiciates pairing it up with the likes of Moltres, Nidoking, and Buzzwole, which are able to threaten Steel-types this is a gp correction but add a period this double sentence gave me a stroke trying to read Hazard removal from the likes of Starmie, Tentacruel, or Salamence allow Roserade to stay healthy throughout longer games, at the cost of removing its own Spikes, if they are set up two of the removers you mentioned are spinners so this last phrase is weird. i don't think hazard removal is specifically that crucial to rose, but if you want to mention it i'd specifically jsut point out spinners. Faster Pokemon such as Thundurus, Mienshao, and Zygarde-10 are able to threaten threats to Roserade, such as Zarude, Krookodile, and Salamence, they also appreciate its Spikes to help wear down their checks.

general note on the above paragraph -- during the middle, it sometimes feels like you're speaking solely in terms of typing when it'd be more helpful to point out specific examples. for instance, with the "weeakness to fire- and ice-types", it's kinda weird bc those typings are offensively not that common as moves or pokemon in uu anyway -- so you may as well just say moltres / r-h etc. i'd much prefer things like "rocky helmet buzzwole pairs well with rose bc it shores up the hole left by its poor physical defense and can siwtch into threatsl ike krookodile / zarude and punish them", etc, etc. specificity is always better

A more specially defensive spread can be used to better check the likes of Keldeo, Raikou, and Primarina but this makes Roserade less effective at setting up its Spikes and threatening the opponent. i don't know if it makes it worse at spiking -- it gives you more opportunities to come in and spike. i'd just keep the "threatening the opponent" part. It can also run Toxic Spikes over Spikes, to aid wallbreakers such as Keldeo or Zygarde-10 break down their checks like Tangrowth, Primarina, or Buzzwole, as well as generally annoying the opposing team, but Toxic Spikes are way less useful than Spikes, as many tier staples such as Aegislash, Amoonguss, and Nihilego dont care for Toxic Spikes at all, while they are seriously hurt by Spikes. this might cross into GP territory, but "dont care for" can mean "are severely affected by" so this sentence reads a little funky. i think you can get rid of most of this and simply say toxic spikes are less useful because the tier has plenty of viable absorbers and immunities.

Entry hazard removers such as Starmie, Rotom-W, and Salamence allow Roserade to stay healthy throughout longer games, at the cost of removing although Defoggers like the latter two also remove its Spikes. Faster Pokemon such as Noivern, Mienshao, and Zygarde-10% threaten problematic foes such as Zarude, Krookodile, and Salamence and benefit from Spikes wearing down their checks.

Other Options
=============

Toxic Spikes aids wallbreakers such as Keldeo and Zygarde-10% in breaking down checks like Tangrowth, Primarina, and Buzzwole and generally annoys the opposing team, but Spikes are is usually better due to the abundance of Poison-immune Pokemon and Poison-types.

Checks and Counters
===================

The former two can easily sponge off Roserade's attacks, and Roserade can only try to cripple them with only fearing (or "disliking" etc.) Sleep Powder. Azelf cannot switch into Roserade directly, but it can outspeed and force Roserade it out. (removed extra empty line below)

**Faster Threats and Priority**: Zarude, Salamence, Lycanroc-D, and Krookodile outspeed Roserade and threaten to deal heavy damage to Roserade. it. Slower Pokemon with priority such as Mamoswine and Diggersby are also able to threaten Roserade. (removed extra empty line below)

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Umbreon, Galarian Moltres, and Chansey can switch into Roserade, with Chansey also not fearing status due to Natural Cure. Mantine is notable, as it tanks Leaf Storm and removes Spikes with Defog.
