Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 64 SpD / 192 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Dragon Tail
- Stone Edge / Iron Head

[SET COMMENTS]
Roaring Moon is an excellent user of RegenVest with a typing that plays well into the tier's special setup sweepers and pivots like Iron Moth, Sandy Shocks, and all variants of Zapdos. Knock Off cripples switch-ins like Great Tusk and Corviknight while also threatening a 2HKO on offensive Gholdengo and an OHKO on Gengar and Azelf. U-turn allows Roaring Moon to pivot out on these switch-ins, and Dragon Tail allows Roaring Moon to force out setup sweepers such as Manaphy, which Roaring Moon cannot meaningfully damage, while letting it rack up entry hazard damage. Stone Edge allows Roaring Moon to threaten the plethora of Flying- and Fire-types that the tier has, such as Thundurus, Iron Moth, and Zapdos, while Iron Head allows it to chip Fairy-types like Scream Tail and Diancie that otherwise can switch in freely. 192 Speed EVs and a Jolly nature ensure that Roaring Moon outspeeds Thundurus and Gengar. Roaring Moon appreciates physically defensive walls like Corviknight, Great Tusk, and Quaquaval that can remove entry hazards which limit Roaring Moon's walling capabilities, while it checks the special Electric- and Fire-types that threaten them like Hisuian Electrode and Iron Moth in return. Roaring Moon's presence is appreciated by pivots and wallbreakers like Galarian Zapdos and Sword of Ruin Ceruledge due to its ability to switch into revenge killing attempts from the likes of Hisuian Electrode, Sandy Shocks, and Azelf. Roaring Moon deathly fears Dragon- and Fairy-types like Hydreigon, Walking Wake, and Enamorus-T, making Earth Eater Empoleon a notable partner with its ability to pivot into these Pokemon.

Roaring Moon is an excellent user of RegenVest with a typing that plays well into the tier's special setup sweepers and pivots like Iron Moth, Azelf lacking Dazzling Gleam (U-turn out damages Regen, this is a judgement call but I'd maybe rephrase to say "a typing that plays well into special sweepers being immune to Expanding Force from Azelf and also checking ... (Instead of azelf mention sandy shocks)) and all variants of Zapdos. Knock Off cripples switch-ins like Great Tusk and Corviknight while also threatening an OHKO on Gengar and Azelf, U-turn allows Roaring Moon to pivot out on these switch-ins after they have had their items removed and Dragon Tail allows Roaring Moon to force out Tail Glow Manaphy, which Roaring Moon cannot meaningfully damage, and allows it to rack up entry hazard Stealth Rock (more general) damage. Stone Edge allows Roaring Moon to threaten the plethora of Flying- and Fire-types that the tier has, such as Thundurus-I, Iron Moth and Zapdos while Iron Head allows it to chip Fairy-types like Scream Tail and Diancie that otherwise can switch in freely. 192 Speed EVs and a Jolly Nature ensure that Roaring Moon outspeed Thundurus-I. Roaring Moon appreciates physically defensive walls like Corviknight, Great Tusk and defensive Quaquaval who can remove entry hazards which limit Roaring Moon's walling capabilities, while it also checks the special Electric- and Fire-types that threaten them. Roaring Moon's presence is appreciated by pivots and wallbreakers like Sword of Ruin Ceruledge and Galarian Zapdos with its ability to switch into revenge killing attempts from the like of Hisuian Electrode, Sandy Shocks and Gengar (Maybe Azelf Here since sneak at +2 kills gar from Ceru). Roaring Moon deathly fears Dragon- and Fairy-types like Hydreigon, Walking Wake and Enamorus-T, making Earth Eater Empoleon a notable partner for Roaring Moon with its ability to pivot into these Pokemon.

Knock Off cripples switch-ins like Great Tusk and Corviknight while also threatening an 2HKO on offensive Gholdengo and an OHKO on Gengar and Azelf. (AP) and 2HKOing offensive Gholdengo, moved + changed comma to period for clarity U-turn allows Roaring Moon to pivot out on these switch-ins and Dragon Tail allows Roaring Moon to force out setup sweepers such as Manaphy, which Roaring Moon cannot meaningfully damage, and allows while letting it to rack up entry hazard damage. "and allowing it to" is fine, but allow is repeated a ton. other versions of this phrase are fine Stone Edge allows Roaring Moon to threaten the plethora of Flying- and Fire-types that the tier has, such as Thundurus-I, Iron Moth, (AC) and Zapdos, (AC) while Iron Head allows it to chip Fairy-types like Scream Tail and Diancie that otherwise can switch in freely. 192 Speed EVs and a Jolly Nature ensure that Roaring Moon outspeeds Thundurus-I and Gengar. Roaring Moon appreciates physically defensive walls like Corviknight, Great Tusk and Quaquaval, (AC) who can remove entry hazards which limit Roaring Moon's walling capabilities, while it also also states that moon does something on top of another previously mentioned, not needed in this case checks the special Electric- and Fire-types that threaten them like Hisuian Electrode and Iron Moth. remove the double space here Roaring Moon's presence is appreciated by pivots and wallbreakers like Galarian Zapdos and Sword of Ruin Ceruledge with its ability to switch into revenge killing attempts from the likes of Hisuian Electrode, Sandy Shocks, (AC) and Azelf. Roaring Moon not required, but "It also" is applicable as an alternative to cut down on the number of mentions of "Roaring Moon" deathly fears Dragon- and Fairy-types like Hydreigon, Walking Wake and Enamorus-T, making Earth Eater Empoleon a notable partner for Roaring Moon with its ability to pivot into these Pokemon.

Clas im so sorry i didnt see this before lmao i only saw it now because i wanted to help clear oms. if you ever want faster feedback pm me on discord
- 'Typing' is correct here; typing can be used to describe the type(s) a Pokemon has. Phrases like 'its Ghost typing allow it to spinblock' or whatever are also correct as a result.
- Not sure why you put the 2HKO stuff before the OHKO stuff instead of just doing 'threatening an OHKO on Gengar and Azelf and a 2HKO on offensive Gholdengo' - there's no need to alter structure and ordering if there's nothing to actually fix.
- Commas before and/but/or are needed when both clauses are independent.
- Thundurus, not Thundurus-I - only the therian formes have the forme name in them.
- The word 'nature' isn't capitalised.
- Pokemon are never referred to as 'who' because they're not people. Use which or that instead.
- Smogon uses the serial/Oxford comma (comma before and in a list of 3 or more), so be careful proofreading for those.
