This thing makes up for Guzzlord that's for sure lol

[SET]
name: Acrobatics
move 1: Dragon Dance
move 2: Acrobatics
move 3: Earthquake / Taunt
move 4: Throat Chop / Roost / Taunt
item: Booster Energy
tera type: Flying
ability: Protosynthesis
nature: Jolly / Careful
evs: 220 Atk / 36 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

* With Booster Energy juicing up Tera Flying Acrobatics and one of Roaring Moon's stats, it's an excellent choice for late-game sweeping!

* **Earthquake**: Earthquake is Roaring Moon's best shot at beating Kingambit.

* **Taunt**: Taunt is the best way around troublesome defensive foes, such as Dondozo, Corviknight, and Tera Fairy Skeledirge.

* **Throat Chop**: Throat Chop is the preferred Dark-type STAB move over Crunch, since it can shut down important sound moves from Skeledirge, Volcarona, and Sylveon.

* **Roost**: Recovery really allows Roaring Moon to take advantage of its good special bulk, especially if investing in it.

EV Spreads
========

* **220 Atk / 36 Def / 252 Spe with Jolly**: This spread gives Roaring Moon a Speed boost from Protosynthesis, making it a good revenge killer.

* **4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe with Jolly**: This simple spread makes Protosynthesis boost Attack, potentially letting Roaring Moon 2HKO Skeledirge with Acrobatics.

* **252 HP / 4 Atk / 28 Def / 196 SpD / 28 Spe with Careful**: This spread takes a slower, bulkier approach to boosting, getting a Special Defense boost from Protosynthesis and outspeeding Dragapult after one Dragon Dance. This spread is best used with Roost, and Taunt is also highly recommended to get past Skeledirge.

[SET]
name: Dragon Dance
move 1: Dragon Dance
move 2: Throat Chop
move 3: Earthquake
move 4: Iron Head / Tera Blast / Roost / Scale Shot
item: Life Orb / Booster Energy / Loaded Dice / Lum Berry
tera type: Steel / Fire / Fairy / Ghost
ability: Protosynthesis
nature: Jolly
evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

* While Roaring Moon is most known for using Booster Energy and Acrobatics, other Tera Types and moves can let it defeat a different set of threats and be used earlier in the game.

* **Throat Chop**: Throat Chop shutting down important sound moves such as Volcarona's Bug Buzz makes it the better option over Crunch.

* **Iron Head**: Iron Head is good at punishing Fairy Terastallization, especially when using Tera Steel Roaring Moon.

* **Roost**: Even with the offensive nature of this set, Roost is good against Choice locked foes.

* **Scale Shot**: While lowering Roaring Moon's Defense makes it even more vulnerable to priority, the Speed boost can lead to some surprising sweeps when picking off foes. It also has a shot of OHKOing offensive Dragonite through Multiscale.

Other Options
========

* **Outrage**: This is by far Roaring Moon's strongest attack, though being locked in can easily lead to counter play via Terastallization and Fairy-types.

Tera Types
========

* **Steel**: Tera Steel's good matchup against Fairy- and Dragon-types makes it a prime candidate.

* **Fire**: With Tera Fire, Roaring Moon gains a useful resistance to Bullet Punch and cooks Scizor, Tinkaton, and Corviknight with Tera Blast.

* **Fairy**: Tera Fairy is an excellent answer to faster Dragon-types such Dragapult and Choice Scarf Garchomp and gives Roaring Moon a vital Fighting-type resistance against otherwise troublesome foes like Great Tusk, Iron Hands, and Annihilape.

* **Ghost**: Roaring Moon gains a useful Extreme Speed and Mach Punch immunity, making Dragonite and Breloom far less problematic. This is especially useful if using Scale Shot.

Items
========

* **Life Orb**: While making Roaring Moon more vulnerable to priority, the reliable damage output means Roaring Moon doesn't have to set up to deal massive damage.

* **Booster Energy**: Beyond making Roaring Moon more suited for late-game sweeping, Booster Energy is perfect for making opponents think its the more common Acrobatics set.

* **Loaded Dice**: When using Scale Shot, Loaded Dice is a strong consideration, letting +1 Roaring Moon always OHKO offensive Dragonite and almost always OHKO Breloom with Scale Shot.

* **Lum Berry**: Lum Berry is perfect for taking advantage of Pokemon that are likely to inflict status on Roaring Moon, such as Tinkaton, Rotom-W, and Umbreon.

EV Spreads
========

* **4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe**: This classic spread will give Roaring Moon an Attack boost from Protosynthesis.

* **220 Atk / 36 Def / 252 Spe**: This is the spread to use if a Speed Boost from Protosynthesis is needed.

[SET]
name: Jaw Lock Trapper
move 1: Jaw Lock
move 2: Roost
move 3: Taunt
move 4: Dragon Dance / Substitute / Earthquake / U-turn
item: Leftovers / Shed Shell / Booster Energy
tera type: Poison / Fairy / Flying
ability: Protosynthesis
nature: Impish / Careful
evs: 244 HP / 4 Atk / 196 Def / 36 SpD / 28 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

* With Jaw Lock, Roost, and Taunt, Roaring Moon is capable of severely punishing defensive answers to it, which is worth the risk of trapping itself.

* **Dragon Dance**: If trapping a very passive foe such as Garganacl, Roaring Moon can threaten to get to +6, slicing through teams like a hot knife through butter!

* **Substitute**: Substitute works great with Toxic Spikes support, giving Roaring Moon a means to rack up Toxic damage.

* **Earthquake**: This prevents Roaring Moon from being walled by Kingambit.

* **U-turn**: U-turn gives Roaring Moon a way to switch out of bad Jaw Lock matchups, reducing its risk greatly without using up an item slot.

Other Options
========

* **Acrobatics**: If using Booster Energy and Tera Flying, Acrobatics is far more powerful than Jaw Lock, punishing Annihilape and Great Tusk in particular.

Tera Types
=======

* **Poison**: In addition to providing a vital resistance to Fairy- and Fighting-type attacks, Tera Poison lets Roaring Moon freely switch into Toxic, which would ruin this set otherwise.

* **Fairy**: Taking on Dragon- and Fighting-type attacks makes Fairy a reliable Tera type.

* **Flying**: Tera Flying grants Roaring Moon safety from Garganacl and Dondozo's Fissure and pairs nicely with Acrobatics.

* **Ghost**: Tera Ghost is tempting to allow Roaring Moon to switch out of Jaw Lock, but be warned: you must Terastallize only on the turn after using Jaw Lock, because otherwise, the trapping effect will fail to activate if using Jaw Lock as a Ghost-type!

Items
========

* **Leftovers**: If using Dragon Dance, the residual recovery makes setting up multiple Dragon Dances much easier.

* **Shed Shell**: Shed Shell lets Roaring Moon switch out of Jaw Lock, massively reducing the risk.

* **Booster Energy**: This turns Tera Flying Acrobatics into a powerful form of offense.

* **Heavy-Duty Boots**: Making Roaring Moon immune to Toxic Spikes gives it much more flexibility against stall teams with Toxic Spike setters such as Clodsire and Toxapex.

* **Protective Pads**: Protective Pads will guard Roaring Moon against Volcarona's Flame Body and Rocky Helmet for otherwise good trapping targets such as Dondozo and Clodsire.

EV Spreads
========

* **244 HP / 4 Atk / 196 Def / 36 SpD / 28 Spe with Impish**: This EV spread outspeeds Dragapult after one Dragon Dance, avoids a 2HKO from Iron Bundle if Roaring Moon is Terastallized, and avoids a 2HKO from an unboosted Dragonite Tera Normal Extreme Speed.

* **252 HP / 4 Atk / 28 Def / 196 SpD / 28 Spe with Careful**: This spread gets a Special Defense boost from Protosynthesis while still outspeeding Dragapult after one Dragon Dance.

* **252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe with Jolly**: While much less bulky than the other spreads, maximum Speed ensures Roaring Moon outspeeds Iron Valiant, Scream Tail, and Dragon Dance Tyranitar. The former two can ruin Roaring Moon with Encore.

[SET]
name: Choice Item
move 1: Throat Chop
move 2: U-turn
move 3: Earthquake
move 4: Tera Blast / Iron Head / Outrage / Scale Shot
item: Choice Scarf / Choice Band
tera type: Steel / Fire / Fairy
ability: Protosynthesis
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

* With great offenses and U-turn, Roaring Moon is a good and unexpected choice for pivoting.

* **Throat Chop**: Shutting down troublesome sound moves such as Torch Song and Bug Buzz make Throat Chop the superior choice over Crunch.

* **Iron Head**: Iron Head is good coverage against Tera Fairy-types with Levitate such as Rotom-W and Hydreigon.

* **Outrage**: Outrage is a risky move, but it excels at cleaning teams in the late game.

Tera Types
========

* **Steel**: Tera Steel gives Roaring Moon a good matchup against Fairy types with Iron Head, and the Stealth Rock resistances lets it pivot out with less consequences.

* **Fire**: Tera Fire's Stealth Rock weakness is a bit problematic with U-turn, but has great offensive and defensive synergy, letting Roaring Moon take Fairy-type attacks, and roast Scizor and Air Balloon Tinkaton with Tera Blast.

* **Fairy**: Tera Fairy not only absorbs Dragon-type attacks, but it also massively improves Roaring Moon's matchups against strong Fighting-types such as Iron Hands, Great Tusk, and Annihilape via Tera Blast.

Items
========

* **Choice Scarf**: A Choice Scarf in wing will let Roaring Moon outpace some of its common revenge killers, such as Flutter Mane, Iron Bundle, and Dragapult.

* **Choice Band**: Choice Band gives Roaring Moon incredible wallbreaking power, now being able to 2HKO Skeledirge and Dondozo with Outrage.

EV Spreads
========

* **4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe**: The old-school offensive spread gives Roaring Moon an Attack boost from Protosynthesis.

* **220 Atk / 36 Def / 252 Spe**: This spread gives Roaring Moon a Speed boost from Protosynthesis, which can be useful if running Choice Band on a sun team.

I'm going to be annoying again and just comment on typos this time:
On the Jaw Lock Trapper set, you have "Ghist" instead of "Ghost" as a Tera type.
On the same set, on the EV spread section, you have "Teratstallized" rather than "Terastallize".
Thanks for the actual content though! Looks good as far as I can tell, but that shouldn't mean much haha

Hey, I don't mind pointing out typos, that's a good thing to look out for! I will admit though, I actually knew about the Ghost one ahead of time: I just left it in that build because I looked at the clock and was like "oh shit the Nintendo Direct is in 2 minutes" LOL.

Anyways, I got this ready for a QC check! I made a few changes, but the QC folks on Discord should know what I'm talking about :P

Tera Flying on this triggers my PTSD, but thankfully the balloon hat is silly enough that the second coming of mega mence doesn't scare me that much. QC approved!

all of your careful ev spreads are wasting points. 200 gives you the same as 196, so you can have 4 in atk.

D'OH, I should ahve known better too because the physdef spread was literally using 196 Def to avoid that issue LOL.

Anyways, this is now ready for a GP check!

I’ve been messing around with the jaw lock set recently and I have a few suggestions are far as the item goes

- U-turn - firstly I think U-turn should be slashed in as a potential fourth move. This allows Roaring moon to pivot out of a trap if Jaw Lock missed its intended mark.

- covert cloak - this allows Roaring Moon to completely abuse garganacl, in a similar vain to bulk up Annihilape, overall a very niche item, but on a few teams I’ve needed a garg answer and slapped this on RMoon and it worked beautifully.

- protective pads - one thing I’ve noticed is that attempting to trap something like Volcarona or one of the many Rocky helmet users (Dondozo, clodsire, etc) can be very rough for roaring moon, even though it should win the matchup on paper, barring things like fissure and anti moon teras, having to hit into the helmet or risk the flame body proc can be devastating, as even if the trap is successful, you’re severely weakened. Pads helps immensely with this, allowing you to trap most anything without worry of being punished for attacking it.

- heavy duty boots - on teams where Roaring Moon is going to be doing the heavy lifting against stall, this can make a worlds difference. Instead of having to dance around clodsire and tera moon before it sets up tspikes, you can send it in worry free to snipe whatever your team needs gone. Additionally, the immunity to hazard damage allows RMoon to pick its target more precisely, as you can pivot in and out as needed to find your mark.

that’s all for now. Looks really good :)

Now that I'm not sick, I finally got to this! I made U-turn the last slash in over Acrobatics (which is now an Other Options mention), and mention all the items except Cloak!
