Gen 7 RMT SM OU - Peak 1500

So I've been using this team built around Mega Manectric cos I found its abilities (Lightning Rod -> Intimidate) and its stat spread really cool. I've been using it for a while and I've peaked around 1500 elo mainly losing to Volcarona (God I hate that mon. I have no counters to it and just have to ff if they have it) and in certain mispredictions since the team does rely on my predictability quite a bit

aaaa grrr meow (Hydreigon) @ Darkinium Z
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 24 HP / 252 SpA / 232 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Defog
- Dark Pulse
- Earth Power
- Roost

Hydreigon is a mon I really liked and for some reason I can use mons I like a lot better than ones I don't which is why I kept him. Defog + Roost provides a ton of utility and Dark Z can kill Kyurem after stealth rocks from Clefable. Earth Power also lets it completely counter Heatran which the team struggles on. It can hit hard and break holes which Manectric can capitalize upon. It also provides nice coverage, resisting all of Heatran's and Ash-Greninja's (except Ice Beam which is rarely seen) moves.

woof woof (Manectric-Mega) (M) @ Manectite
Ability: Lightning Rod
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Overheat

Manectric is easily one of the best megas out there with 2 GREAT abilities (Lightning Rod -> Intimidate) which provides a ton of utility in most games. Almost every team has lightning types and even if not they carry atleast 1 lightning move which Manectric can use by baiting Celesteela. Manectric has a lot of common strats too like on Magnezone vs Magearna you can volt switch into Manectric and then either volt switch back (Deals total 50% hp) or Thunderbolt (Deals total 65% hp) and is really fun to use.

hello there (Magnezone) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 72 HP / 252 SpA / 184 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flash Cannon
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Magnezone's ability lets it do a ton of stuff. Specs HP Fire can ohko Ferrothorn, Scizor and all such 4x resists easily, even opposing Magnezones. It can trap steels like Heatran, Mawile and Magearna, abusing them with Volt Switch and even pressure Landorus n Gliscor a lot of times as well. With Specs it hits like a TANK doing even 30-40% to chansey as a special attacker. The speed evs allows it to escape Heatran and just casually deal 30% damage and swap to Hydreigon.

bonk (Tapu Bulu) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Grassy Surge
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Wood Hammer
- Horn Leech
- Stone Edge
- Superpower

Bulu is an absolute DESTROYER. Leech can be super tough to handle as the active recovery is too hard to counter for most mons. Wood Hammer is a move where its easier to list the mons it cant ohko, even without band it destroys everything in its path. Coverage lets it smack possible switch-ins like Heatran and Ferrothorn, as well as Tornadus and Toxapex. Also Scarf >>>> Band, It ohkos EVERYTHING already making the band simply useless meanwhile Band allows it to even outspeed Greninja-Ash making it the perfect End-Game sweeper and an insane wall breaker.

he he heee (Celesteela) @ Leftovers
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 68 Def / 188 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Leech Seed
- Heavy Slam
- Flamethrower
- Protect

Do I even have to talk about this beast? Celesteela is just a mon you can confidently send out on almost anything. It also serves as a GREAT bait for Manectric to utilize, with a swap on a clean electric predict Manectric becomes a sweeper. Seed makes it incredibly tough to break and Steel-Flying is just broken. Only actual electric type that can get this beast off the field is Tapu Koko Since every other electric move does 30-50% hp. Its coverage lets it wrestle down many dangerous Mons like Bulu and Ferrothorn.

wait what (Clefable) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled
- Calm Mind

Clefable is another hella tanky mon. It compresses so many super crucial things while being very reliably. Starting with that Stealth Rock, Baiting steel types for Magnezone to kill and even becoming a sweeper on its own with Calm Mind. It can take stall teams really well (2hko Chansey after 6 Calm Mind and Forcing Toxapex for Haze where you can swap to Magnezone to break a hole) and handle a lot of weaknesses.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ik the peak isn't much but the team is facing a ton of difficulty with volcarona which just causes a -30 elo on any team running it. Stuff like scarfed Darmanitan and Victini are also really hard to counter so any tips would be useful
