Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature

Greninja @ Life Orb

EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Hydro Pump

Terrakion @ Focus Sash
Ability: Justified
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock

Goals of the team in battle (Win Condition):
  • Weaken opponent's pokemon at the point that Mega-Sceptile is able to come in and sweep late game
  • Get free switch-ins to successfully and safely send out Sceptile for it to mega evolve
Known Weakness:
  • Very high weakness to ice type moves
  • Easily swept by Notorious sweepers such as Talonflame(after team is weakened)
  • Unstoppable threats if Landorus-T is dead and Mega-Sceptile not being able to get free switch-ins
  • Very welcome for Constructive Criticism and other potential weakness the team may very well have. Any help is very much appreciated.

Sceptile-Mega @ Sceptilite
Ability: Lightning Rod
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 248 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Giga Drain
- Dragon Pulse
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Substitute

Core Pokemon I wanted to use due to it's:
  • Very high base speed and strong special attack, Sceptile is capable of outpacing many threats running around in OU Tier, after Mega Evolution.
  • Sub+3 Attacks set is chosen due to the notorious threat that is Sceptile inside Substitute
  • Chose Hidden Power Fire over Focus Blast, one, Terrakion does wall breaking Normal types much better

terrakion.gif

Terrakion @ Focus Sash
Ability: Justified
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock

Chosen because:
  • Very reliable lead with the ability to guarantee stealth rocks being up which helps Sceptile cleanup Mon's with the chip damage stealth rocks offer. With the Taunt, Terrakion also helps prevent hazards being setup by the opponent.
  • Able to fend off a few natural checks/counter's to Sceptile, Such as Blissey.

greninja.gif

Greninja @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Dark Pulse
- Gunk Shot

Chosen because:
  • With it's versatile move pool, Greninja is then chosen due to it's ability to weaken or take out threats that Sceptile cannot naturally kill.
  • Able to fend off Sceptile before it mega evolves, It outpaces many mons that can take out many checks that could potentially stop Sceptile
  • With its very high potential threat, It is able to create space in which Sceptile is freely able to switch in.
  • Also able to bait out electric type moves which could boost Mega-Sceptile through Lightning Rod, gaining more potential unbound power.

latias.gif

Latias @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Healing Wish
- Defog

Chosen because:
  • I was looking for a offensive-support pokemon with the ability to setup kills with the ability to also blow away hazards to make way for Sceptile.
  • With Healing Wish, paired with the speed of Latias, It is able to patch up weakened pokemons
  • Also works as a semi-special defensive wall, due to its very good Defense stats and typing, It is able to come in, in many situations to soak up damage.

landorus-therian.gif

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
- Knock Off

Chosen because:
  • Able to revenge kill weakened min's that would otherwise sweep the team, stopping their tracks.
  • Synergizes well with Rotom-W to create a Mini Volt-Turn combination to setup momentum, which could results in free Mega-Sceptile switch ins.
  • With the ability Intimidate, it fends off Talonflame which could potentially sweep a weakened team.

rotom-wash.gif

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 212 SpD / 44 Spe
Calm Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Protect / Pain Split

Chosen because:
  • With the foreseeable weakness to Ice type attacks, Rotom-W comes in to soak up those attacks that may otherwise OHKO other mons
  • Protect is chosen over Pain Split due to the very high weakness to Mega-Loppuny, with a decently weakened team, Loppuny is uncontrollable if Protect is not chosen.
  • Mini-Volt turn with Choice Scarf Landorus for momentum and free switches.

**Criticism and Tip(s) to better improve the team is highly appreciated and will definitely be taken into account of further modifications. Criticism for the post itself is also very much helpful for it is my very first RMT post **

Thank you for checking out my team

Hi! Welcome to Smogon, and thanks for reading the RMT Rules. It's nice to see something other than an importable copy and paste from Pokemon showdown. XD

Onto the rate.

I like this team, and I've always been a fan of Mega Sceptile and Hyper Offensive, especially as a combo.
But no team is perfect, and this one could get used to some changes.

First is Greninja, I recommend running an EV Spread of 44 Atk / 212 Sp Atk / 252 Spe so you can OHKO Azumarills with ease. You can also get rid of Sylveon's this way.
Don't run Protect on Rotom-Wash, run Pain Split or a Chesto Resto set.
I do have a big problem with your typings. Having Greninja/Rotom-Wash along with Terrakion/Landorus-Therian isn't very viable. You have a severe weakness to Grass and Water, so if you run into a rain team with Ludicolo, you're scrwed.
But other than those recommendations, good team.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for the read. I do recognize such weakness, and Will most definetly take into account such modifications you have recommended. Will re-adjust the team accordingly

Welcome to Smogon. You got there a really nice team all in all. I just suggest you to change the HP Evs from mega sceptile onto 8 (you even have 4 evs you didnt use on him :P).
Expect this i cant really see anything you could change, really solid team.
