Roaring Moon's excellent set of resistances, great Speed and Attack, and solid bulk make it a serviceable bulky pivot without the passivity of other RegenVest Pokemon like Manaphy and Swampert; in particular, its great typing allow it to scout and offensively check and prominent special attackers like Gholdengo, Iron Moth, and Hisuian Electrode. U-turn allows it to maintain high momentum, pivoting out of difficult matchups like against Great Tusk and Fluffy Corviknight and healing off any chip damage with Regenerator. Earthquake allows it to hit Steel-types like Kingambit and Heatran, which would otherwise trouble it. Roaring Moon tends to play aggressively, with its average bulk contributing to it being seen mainly on offensive teams; therefore, hard-hitting offensive teammates like Ogerpon-C, Chien-Pao, and Azelf enjoy its presence. Roaring Moon cannot safely switch in on strong Dragon-types like Latios and Walking Wake, so a secondary special wall like Empoleon or Scream Tail makes for an excellent partner. Entry hazards severely compromise Roaring Moon's longevity, and its lack of physical bulk makes it reliant on strong physical walls to take hits instead; as a result, physically defensive hazard removers like Great Tusk and Corviknight are nearly essential partners.

It can offensively check and scout prominent Special Attackers like Gengar, Hisuian Electrode, and Deoxys-S suspicious mention since beam does quite a fair bit on every set and can 2hko after rocks, something better like Iron Moth would be good, while also at least making common Choice Specs users like Walking Wake and Latios think about which move to use. this is also suspicious since you almost always never send in moon on wake / latios Earthquake allows it to hit Steel-types like Kingambit and Tinkaton, who would otherwise trouble it. Roaring Moon tends to play aggressively, especially as its bulk is only average, so hard hitting offensive teammates like Ogerpon-Cornerstone, Chien-Pao, and Azelf all enjoy its presence. Roaring Moon cannot check strong Dragon-types like Latios and Walking Wake by itself, so secondary special threat checks like Empoleon and Scream Tail make for excellent partners. Entry hazards and Roaring Moon's severely compromise Roaring Moon's its longevity, making physically defensive hazard removers like Great Tusk and Corviknight nearly mandetory.

(Gengar runs Focus Blast, Ghold is a better mon to list) (I think its worth mentioning how U-turn helps Moon switch out of uncomfortable matchups and how it improves its Regenerator capabilities) Earthquake allows it to hit Steel-types like Kingambit and Tinkaton, who would otherwise trouble it. Roaring Moon tends to play aggressively, especially as its bulk is only average, so hard hitting offensive teammates like Ogerpon-Cornerstone, Chien-Pao, and Azelf all enjoy its presence. thank yah x implemented some of it, disagree on the line r.e. hazards though, if it's taking a spike and a rock every time it comes in it is effectively not healing at all, hazards are super important for whittling down regen pivots as they like switching in to take hits

Earthquake allows it to hit Steel-types like Kingambit and Tinkaton Heatran Tinkaton sucks I'm afraid, who would otherwise trouble it.
