Round Four

The round opens with the two grass-types trading status conditions with eachother, with Necturine becoming poisoned and Shroomish receiving a burn. Necturine got the better of this trade, as the burn allows her Hex attacks to benefit from higher base power, causing Shroomish to take meaningful damage despite the discrepancy between their special attack and special defense stats. Shroomish, however, can't seem to get it going; her Sludge Bombs only tickle Necturine. The toxic timer is ticking, so let's see if Shroomish can hold on long enough for it to ramp up.'

Unfortunately for Shroomish, it just doesn't have the movepool to effectively deal with Necturine. First it tried to bombard Necturine with sludge, and now it's turned to seeds. Neither one can deal more than minuscule damage, and Necturine just heals it all back with Leech Life. That being said, Necturine is burning through energy to keep itself healthy, and the toxic poison is growing stronger, so cbrevan may have window to punish.

Note: For Effect Spore this round and future rounds, 1 will result in Poison, 2 in Paralysis, 3 in Sleep, and 4-10 in nothing.
